Gosh, those pineapple print silk dresses must have been a vision back in the day. An pina cloth has such an incredible sheen, it's like if linen, cotton and silk had a baby

Love the bag, looks like it took forever! Now I am just imagining renting a pineapple to show how rich I am, and trying to explain away the smell of preservation chemicals to my friends. Fruit rental is just such a sketchy business nowadays.

'Rent a pineapple' lol. I love the history, and the 50's novelty prints, and the marvelous bag. I have a lunchbox with a pineapple motif (made from natural fibre), which I use as a general storage box/container.
I like the framed Gainsborough painting with what looks like a barcode.
