    The Tillandsia harissii has beautiful red bracts elongated in shape from a pup it takes more than a year to bloom. I grow it in full sun and seems to like that condition. 😁

    Thanks for all the information! I just bought a couple "grab bags" of mixed Tillandsia and although I recognized the Ionatha, the others I was unfamiliar with. Now I know the names of most of them and know how to better care for them. Thanks again! 😃

    Hello Dave. I'm new to air plants and am really enjoying learning from your videos, hope to see more. For us newbies I think it would be useful if you put the names of the plants you are discussing in the video description, as the names go by kind of fast when the video is playing. Thanks again

Do to the rot on the airplants Compact bases. Would it be o k just to soak the leaves Of the plant And not the bass. Or does the whole plant need to be submerged. What's your opinion about reverse osmthis Fresh water aquarium. Water for feeding these plants. Thank you for the detailed video I appreciate it take care.

    Can I put Tillandsia outside in a place where there is no direct sunlight?

    • @DavesAirPlantCorner
      @DavesAirPlantCorner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that is optimal actually! Some of them can't take direct sunlight especially if it's midday sun, it can burn the delicate green species such as T. brachycaulos and velutina, etc.

    I bought a Tillandsia streptophylla from you. Unlike the one you showed us, the new leaves are red. Is that normal?

    • @DavesAirPlantCorner
      @DavesAirPlantCorner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the order :) And yes, the colourations is normal among the streptophyllas, I think especially when they get more light, so that one probably received fair amount of light at the nursery. If you put it at a more shaded area the colour will probably fade out eventually, until it goes into bloom or provided more light again
