J. None was on leave from the Navy and came visiting to do this. Though I am sure he will be back for more. Eli has the greatest character voices. Cesar dressed as a Disney Newsie. Layne with the bone in his nose. Then there's Geoff doing the Groff things.

Layne did the arrangement, it was filmed at PattyCake Production, which is the company that Layne and Tony (former Voice Play baritone) run. Layne and Tony did
the direction, Eli did the lighting, and if memory serves, Layne did the video editing. What a creative skilled set of people. I love the way Eli and Cesar blend, and trade
vocal lines. J. None who has always sounded great, sounds even stronger after his work with the navy band. Geoff continues to work on his lower register, the amount he has extended it is mind blowing. And Layne with the bone in his nose was priceless. Bravo to all the guys.

Geoff actually slid into his lowest chest note ever in a video at 3:25, the slide ends at a countable F1!!!
If that was in chest that’s crazy but to me it sounds like as he slid down the note it became more and more fry. I’d say at the very end it was closer to chest fry than full chest
@@JaviaMusic There's a big discussion about that on the video under Marcello Bass' low notes post - consensus seems to be that it's a countable chest F1!

Is it just me or this first song after the Halo theme with the B0, he's just throwing around it G1 chest notes like he's handing out Halloween candy? And a couple of posters on here were debating if the F1 he hit was chest. If it is, that's insane.

Layne stood out in this one keeping the beat steady even the the vocals were singing then rapping then talking and that rhythm changed. God it was so good to hear j again

I think I should buffed myself like Geoff's body to have that low bass sustained, Idk maybe it does affect how your bass sounds and its thickness also.
And the stick with dead skull head JNpne had after the transformation is Geoffs stick from Queen medley.

Yes!! I was so happy when I woke up and saw you reacted to this. I have been waiting and watching for it since this video came out. Other reactors seem to have been very taken with the production (which was amazing) and haven't commented as much on the vocals but I knew you would pick up on all the amazing things they did with the arrangement. Good catch on the bell tobrs. I missed that. It takes me several listens before I can concentrate on the music when there is so much going on visually. So many fun things to watch, in addition to the great music.
I love the foreshadowing, when early on, at around :30, J does the funky chicken. And at :54, "hoodoo", J is holding the traditional sacrificial chicken, and it is HeiHei from Moana. 🤣
And Aladdin's lamp is on a chair behind Eli at about 1:45. Every time I watch I hear something new or see a funny little detail I missed the first 25 times!

I love the take 6esque chords during the cards part. Not sure whether or not it was intentional, but in my mind it is my current favorite vocal group paying homage to my favorite group growing up.
