My wife has been head over heels with Bryan Ferry met her at a concert in the NEC in! Birmingham was chatting her up when Bryan started singing Jealous Guy need I say more, she has all his music LPs and all.
I remember being 14 years old and requesting Bryan Ferry Bête Noire and The Red Hot Chili Peppers Mother's Milk as cassettes for Christmas and my mother went to the record store and told the clerk what her daughter wanted for Christmas and the clerk praised my choices and told my mother she had a cool daughter with great taste and my mom told me about this after I had opened my gifts and I could tell she was so proud of me! Music has always been really important to our family and she had always made an effort to attend concerts herself and then allow me to when I was ten. I am proud of having such a cool mom who always supported me musically whether it was taking me to see Van Halen and the Scorpions or coming to my high school musical performance of Oliver! when I had a solo. I miss her all the time. I often don't allow myself to feel it because it would be unbearable if acknowledged all the time. I still LOVE Bryan Ferry.
This is a truly masterful performance. This must have been an epic concert. Bob Dylan has been quoted as saying Bryan does the best covers of his songs. I wouldn't argue with him.
Ferry a genius? Christopher Ricks, Professor of English Literature at both Oxford and Cambridge opines that Dylan is the most important poet of the 20th century. Now that is genius!
For you have performed the best possible version of this composition and yet there are some people who have put a thumbs down. My father always told us, if you don't like something you don't have to listen to it. So for all of you's that didn't like it, the only time wasted was your own. For my self, I enjoyed every second of every minute of this MAGNIFICENT performance. Bryan Ferry, sing this song at every concert, for if it only up sets the dislikes, then it will put a bigger smile on all of our faces. Best wishes and hope you're all doing well. 😁😁😁🍀🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💥

There it goes again with that everywhere you read a description of an artist/band that cringy insipid word? UNDERFUKINRATED. I've even seen it describing Prince,Iron Maiden and Steve Vai, ffs. Ferry is universal in influence and has inspired generations of artists with his amazing music and his impecable style. And everyone on the planet has heard of him. So stick that stooopid word up yer arse.
@@garolstipock I wasn't exactly in tears :) but never cared much for this song covered by other artists in the past but blown away by this performance..
Bryan Ferry is exceptionally talented artist and stunningly beautiful - there's no one even close like him. All the singer-guitar front men in bands I like are just like him but they are gone now!! You all know the magazines that list most handsome man of the year, well, guess what, Bryan Ferry beats them all!! Case closed.
I've always preferred the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, and Bob Weir covering Dylan tunes but here I am 40 years after first remembering Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music but I knew not that he did such a great job of these songs until these last few(?) Years. I need more.
i know that it's not a common opinion, but i honestly think that this is one of the best songs in ferrys colossal catalogue.i mean the starting bassline alone is crazy.
Ferry is unique. Im 70 and hes better now when I saw him fronting RM at The Rainbow Finsbury Park 45 years ago. Id forgotten what a great song this is. Ferry does the impossible - casts gold dust over anything by Bob Dylan.
@@gintassveikauskas5787 Sim, eu sei disso, mas não retira mérito nem valor a Brian Ferry, enquanto perfomer a solo e enquanto líder dos Roxy Music, a qual foi uma grande banda musical, na minha opinião.
Bryan Ferry. - It’s all over now Baby Blue . This is a very exciting song. Bryan on the mouth organ too. It’s a real full on lovely song we come to expect from Bryan. It’s a great video too nothing not to dislike or disappoint you.

Bryan is a unique and brilliant artist, musician, singer, performer he can take a piece and make it his own, why would he want to sound the same as someone else, or the composer / singer of a particular piece , he is the real thing, Slainte.
You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast Yonder stands your orphan with his gun Crying like a fire in the sun Look out the saints are comin' through And it's all over now, Baby Blue. The highway is for gamblers, better use your sense Take what you have gathered from coincidence The empty handed painter from your streets Is drawing crazy patterns on your sheets This sky, too, is folding under you And it's all over now, Baby Blue. All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home Your empty handed armies, are all going home Your lover who just walked out the door Has taken all his blankets from the floor The carpet, too, is moving under you And it's all over now, Baby Blue. Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you Forget the dead you've left, they will not follow you The vagabond who's rapping at your door Is standing in the clothes that you once wore Strike another match, go start a new And it's all over now, Baby Blue.
What a country England is. Bowie, Ferry and Palmer. The epitome of cool singers.
Unfortunatly with a Special tendency to die early
Also Georgie Fame.
100% agree
What about Rolling Stones?
Bowie might be liked for his music but I understand he was not the best of characters
I’m 65 and been a fan since I was 15 seen Roxy and Bryan a number of times
So am I..77 years now..saw a concert of him in 2019…Carré..Amsterdam…sheer joy..❤❤..gift from my daughter..she’s a fan of him now aswell…yeah..😊😊
Bryan's harmonica rendition is fantastic !
What a Class Gentlemen ...back singers ...wow ...outstanding
Ferry brought some glamour to the great rock poetry of Mr. Dylan.

Another great song written by the best songwriter ever Bob Dylan, sung very well by Brian Ferry fantastic👍
It was written by Wilbert Harrison .
