I just only have one Gyrados and Magikarp, and so i use two Starmie EX and Staryu to change it. It's cheap damage but still work in Early game. Thanks for share the deck👏
Nice but I would avoid to put the second Magikarp / chatot on the bench if you already have a fossil, since you could lose if the opponent has a Sabrina . Why not putting also a Sabrina in the deck? Great content btw!
Yeah, I’m aware too. Maybe we can run one copy of Magikarp & Chatot, since it's guaranteed to draw Basic Pokémon on turn 1. No Sabrina, because it’s hard to empty our hand and unlock Chatot’s full potential if we run too many Supporter cards.

this deck is great but i sense there is a big problem: charizard ex. if your opponent has a good and fast set up for their charizard ex you cannot kill it but it can kill your gyarados in one shot. i suppose that is a strong counter to this deck. anyone have ideas against charizard?
Gyarados needs the help because it's a stage 1 pokemon and needs 4 energy so it needs these pieces as fast as possible. Articuno on turn 1 is basically guaranteed if you want it and can function with 2 energy, so you don't need the Chatot draw engine to start the beat down.
Nah, because they take up bench spots and get stuck out front. The deck is trying to turbo find Magikarp/Gyarados and Misty as fast as possible, the fossils effectively reduce the size of your deck so it's very likely that you find them with Chatot
kurang sih, nanti yang ke draw malah sabrina nya lagi, kecuali dipakai langsung, tapi ga bisa pakai beberapa trainder skaligus dalam 1 turn, klo emang tidak ada fosil, coba deck gyarados lain aja seperti gyarados druddigon, ato gyarados vaporeon starmie.
I would run just one magikarp and chatot each and put in the last fossil and a pokedex. Makes it more consistent imo. Great deck, alot better than i anticipated.
Try this tech idea with this deck: Reason: Deck Thinning with a twist of Mew 1× Mex EX 2× Mythical Slab Replace cards: 1× Dome Fossil 1× Amber Fossil 1× Helix Fossil See how it fairs. 🤙🏼💫
I don't really mind it because it's not very common and a lot slower than something like Articuno. Combo decks are fun sometimes, especially if they're fragile
Hell nah, Misty is already a toxic play pattern, the last thing water needs is a way to make more energy for free, especially when half the other elements have no way of cheating on energy

The difference is Misty is extremely good with just one energy and absolutely game warping and broken at 2 energy and it requires absolutely zero set up, unlike all of the others. Misty is singlehandedly the most swingy, potentially game warping card in the entire game and by far the most problematic card in the game. Water already has Starmie EX, what many consider to be the most powerful EX in the game, the idea that Water should somehow get a guaranteed Energy accelerator is extremely naive and would be one of the worst things the devs could do to the game.
