I am a late follower of yours, adoring the videos and the High spirit you have in them. There are so few Larp's here that can even compare to games overseas. Its a goal of mine to one day visit a REAL larp.

This event looks legendary! I was a larper in the 90's. From underground caverns at Laberynthe, Kent, England to the Forests of Canada. I'm thoroughly enjoying these awesome videos. I do believe its high time to dust off my armour and embark once more on an epic adventure! :D

I did one larp in Spain two years ago, it was cool ^_^ (and I killed a lot of people, mwahaha) and I hope to do one more this summer or this fall. I'm getting my leather armor by pieces and some steel greaves.

haha yeah, custom made armor is a luxury ! I mean it is worth it for the quality and the time, that the artist puts in - but I feel you (my wallet says the same =D )

Why is this amour, he seems to make from home, better fitting your friend than a mass-produces armour?
Not sure if I understand your question correctly but if you commission armor it will almost always be done with your exact measurements. The mass produced ones are simply a 'one-size-fits-all' pattern
What GriegaGöre says =) The guy doesnt make it at home, he is a professional armorer and makes them in his workshop. For the measurements that are provided and fitting for the body type
Are the armor sca approved?
This video and the comments proves my point on many ways. Larp is an enthousiast activity and not made for the majority. plate armor and larp gear is Very expensive. Buying expensive armor Will give you huge avantages on most larp systems. It Makes sense but at the same Time it is pay to win. It is Very similar to airsoft. You need your own gear and, larp ownwers dont make money. The industry is based on larp gear sales because the activity itself is not profitable enough. If you look at the général interest with medieval fantasy (movies,Games,séries) There is only a small portion that goes larping. It is not because of a lack of interest in the genre it is more of the way larp is made.
I'm not sure I understand. You mean that LARP isn't as successful as it could be because the gear is expensive and you need expensive gear to win?

pretty sure they do. Like 90% of Germans do - some better than others but I'm sure, Michael Wimmer can help 👍 He's amazing
certain people miss being violent they pretend it..
It's in our blood human cant exist without conflict or violence, and larping is a safe way to channel that inner instinct

Mit welcher Preislage kann man da rechnen?
Das hängt natürlich ganz von der Rüstung und ihren Aufwänden ab. Aber laut www.wimmer-arts.de/preise so ca. zwischen 75,- und 400,- pro Rüstungsteil.
