I have a gift idea for elderly women that has been greatly appreciated by the recipient. So many times they want to do something for the Lord, but feel they can do nothing. I fill a basket with cards, get well, sympathy, thinking of you, blank cards, etc. I add postage stamps and a large print list of names and addresses of our church family with room to add more of their own.
We gave stamps and grocery store gift cards.
I noticed the lack of 🎉"cute little"😊 this year.
Thank you for your prayers - they frequently bring me to tears in a beautiful way.

Popcorn/movie night. Ice cream & all the makins & fixins. Pasta maker/fondue kettle. The Chosen dvds. Coupon for babysitting. Personalized throws. Family of 5 children - reams of paper (school work, writing, artwork!) A years supply of kool-aid or favorite drink mixes. A good night sky book. A picnic basket with plates, napkins & utensils. A llama (kidding!) ♡

We always give a calendar with fotos of the grandkids to my parents and the in-laws. They really appreciate it :)
Also, I love giving a one year magazine subscription to someone with a special hobby or interest. For instance if they love to cook, a monthly magazine with seasonal recipes or if they love to go camping, an outdoor / hiking magazine. This way, they can “use it up” and pass it on after reading through it, but still have a whole year of fresh ideas.

A mom was speaking about using more natural products and had brought up a brand called crunchi. They had a very full impressive make up line. Maybe another brand to look into. Quality was great. I am not a make up person. But wanted to pass along since I hadn't heard of them before.
These are SO cute!! My mom deals with a lot of health issues and has to have an oxygen tank, but she loves puzzles, movies and bears. I've given her a lot of puzzles- do you have any ideas on a cute crocheted thing to go with a puzzle? No worries if not- it's just nice to get a fresh brain on it!😁

Another idea that was given to us by a friend was a pool pass. They made a cute basket with a couple pool towels and water toys. Movie baskets with a dvd, candy, and popcorn are fun too.
Kids get so much at Christmas that it is nice for them to get an activity. Gift certificates for ice cream, ice skating or children’s museum.
