I hear you but you. I do wish ppl would stay in the fight for thse kids even if it's being the one adult in the room so to speak who keeps correcting the child until it sinks in. Or helps in other ways.
Schools are crazy with the LGBT ideology in some many places now. Places you'd never think West coast and big city garbage is typically found. Where my niece started middle school this year in super small town Maine they've had to fire 2 female teachers for pushing little 13 year old girls to be boys(who were just tomboys who happened to be mildly autistic from what I've gathered). One was a FT teacher the other a new teacher aid not quite a full on teacher from what I gather. Both had given girls chest binders and were talking to them in secret outside school. Luckily their moms found the binders and flipped.
And to add, many don't get how dastardly those chest binders are for girls and women. Within a short period of time they can cause cists, breast cancer, deformation and ruin their ability to breast feed a child. And the last one the crazies would argue they don't want to be girls anymore but the fact from at least two credible studies show that a vast majority of kids who say they're trans or gender neutral go back to being normal not too far down the road. So robbing that from a future mother makes it more awful than most think. Just like with puberty blockers and how the activists and LGBT ideology pushers lie and say they can just "go off the hormones and then have puberty"(they can't, it doesn't work like that)it's all at it's core and all it's arguments are based off of those lies. It's child abuse to a whole new degree. Some do it for ideology, then there's the ones I think there's creeps who enjoy ruining young people or people in general and then there's the ones making the new medial procedures and meds being used off brand to the tune of many billions. Lifelong patients once they take a big enough step into it.

This isn't about "hijacking language," it's about respect. If he respects the person enough to use their new name, he can respect them enough to use the grammatical stand-in for their name, and use their preferred pronouns. I have no problem with calling a person by their chosen name, even if that name was historically associated with the opposite sex. There are many names that have been used for both sexes, after all. However, it is not their choice to demand everyone use the incorrect pronouns as well (let alone inventing new ones). Especially when trying to teach a Romance Language that still has masculine and feminine nouns and verb conjugations it is especially wrong for a person to demand the whole language change to match their internal reality.

No one knows what the end game of the lie will be, but it will affect the student for life, and as such should be a life sentence for the enforcer. The worst crime in the life of a human is to disrupt the mind of a newly created influential child. The crimes against the young determine their futures in unimaginable ways and should be prosecuted without defense. If one has the ability to manipulate they will not be able to claim insanity.

I made a distinction for other matters - yes, report abuse, yes report bullying, yes report problems in the home. I explained that making a decision too soon could result in you being railroaded into something that you are too young to deal with. This has worked well. Too many young people seem to think that sexuality and gender identity are like clothing that you can put on to try and then move on to something else - as if it were a choice. And many do move on to other identifies, and many grow to realize that they were never what they thought. It was an idea based their natural discomfort of their situations and puberty. Reaffirming that puberty can be challenging, but they will get through it. Reinforcing that they are more than any fleeting idea, and that they are loved by family and friends.
