Lego Star Wars Buildable Figures Collection - Number 1 - Boba Fett 75533
This is my favourite buildable figure, released in 2018 this Lego version of Boba Fett has 144 parts. The finished figure is over 9 inches / 25 cm tall.
The buildable figure range suits this heavily armoured version of Bob Fett from the movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
Boba Fett's left shoulder has exclusive printed bright light orange armour with a dark red on white Kyr’bes Mandalorian symbol.
The torso and lower leg armour are also have highly detailed printing. This level of detail is continued to Boba Fett's helmet, which has a moveable range finder and battle damage dent on top.
Boba Fett is known for his impressive arsenal of weapons and this LEGO buildable figure does not disappoint. The rocket-firing back pack is impressive in its intricacy, even if it is a bit weak in firing range. His forearm mounted dart is well constructed and looks the part. But the real beauty of this build is the construction of the rifle. This mini build captures the look of the EE-3 Carbine Rifle, it is quite complex and fiddly to build, yet the end result is simply brilliant.
Overall, Set 75533 is a good build with some interesting techniques, especially if you aren't familiar with the Lego Buildable Figure Range.
As this set is retired and very popular the selling price continues to rise for new and used versions. If you have the cash it will make a great addition to your Lego Collection. If funds are limited then check out some of the other, Lego Star Wars Buildable Figures.
