Do you have the wiring diagram for VW CC 2013? I tried repairing, works but i dont have backwards light for the right side. I changed buld same issue, the car shows light wrong.
I'm sorry my car didn't have a back up camera and I can't seem to find that information online but the harness part number for your car should be 3C8971182J
Awesome video. Unfortunately… mine were so rough looking that I decided to just get a harness from the junk yard. Luckily I found a CC that was wrecked to hell but trunk was squared away.
@@UselessBuilds my local yard here in Laverne Tennessee is awesome. There is this guy there that looks like a young Johnny Depp. He never charges me for “little” stuff. I ended up getting a HPFP and that cable. He ibly charge me $20. Can’t beaaaaaatttt it man
Bro, help me if you can. The spot where you put the black tape on a bunch of wires? Every single one of those wires broke on me. As I pulled the felt tape off they all got mixed up. Could you, or someone else tell me what the colored block connectors go to on the trunk? I don't want to buy a loom when it can be properly repaired. I think the block colors are brown, black, blue, red and something else. I could do this if each wire went to a fuse but they don't. All the trunk lights are module controlled so there ain't no fuse box for it. Total nightmare.
@@UselessBuilds I haven't figured it out. I'm flying blind. I am literally connecting wires and seeing how it goes. I have reverse lights and remote trunk lock. But I think the trunk lock is wrong.
My trunk will not open on my 2013 VW CC LUX. I have a string tied to the inside trunk latch just like in this video. My blinkers, and brake lights are still working. It's just that my trunk will not open using the key fob or the driver's door trunk latch.
Yeah, it's most likely the same problem. It's unbelievably common and very annoying. If you continue opening your trunk, it will start spreading to your lights.
Doing mine today, but all are damaged, none was still together, having a hard time finding out the number on the wires where the clip, one was intact, the black one, think will take the boot lid off and try with the mustimeter to find hopefully which wire goes where, couldn't find anything related online...DAS AUTO :))
Yeah its so hard tracking down schematics on new cars, 20 years ago everything was in a book and super easy to read, now we just have to figure it out for ourselves...
I feel your pain but worse. I've got a wiring diagram from vw and it's useless. So it's a double kick in the nuts. If anyone know the block connections that would be awesome.
Here is the link to the OBD Eleven and The replacement Harnesses

Sorry I don't have that information and sold the car a couple of months ago
@@UselessBuilds Why did you sold it?
@Muxik4k I have too many cars and needed to get rid of it unfortunately
Wich one is for camera signal please? Cuz i have packup cam in my cc

Nice score, I assume it was still cheaper then the $200 new ones online

@@ivanvega2821 that's a heck of a deal, I love a good junkyard score

I will have to pull the cc out of storage to figure out for you if you haven't already fixed it

Do you need to disconnect the battery to do this?
Technically, you should too avoid shorting anything, but as long as you do one wire at a time you would be fine
@@UselessBuilds thank you man. I just got it to work and I was able to wire them back up.
@@louislorencez glad I was able to help!
Can you or any one knows the Camera signal cable ? Because mine flips but it does'nt display any thing , if its on radio mode nothing change
I'm not familiar with it as mine doesn't have a back up camera, im sorry
@@UselessBuilds thank you so much the problem was cam module and bad coax wire

This is WORTHLESS. I have no idea where the so-called mechanic is even working on this stuff.
Harness is in the description if you are to dense to follow along 😉
