Hope to see both in the Premier League as soon as possible again. I’m a fan of SV Waldhof Mannheim. We were relegated all the way down to the 5th tier of German football. We won the 4th tier Championship last season, were promoted to the 3rd Bundesliga and are currently ranked 2nd. Unfortunately corona brought the season to a halt. Hopefully, they’ll just use to current table to decide who’s going to be promoted into the 2nd Bundesliga. Feel free to check out SV Waldhof Mannheim, I believe Vice news or some other TH-cam channel covered our DFB Pokal match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Also check out the videos on our Derby against FC Kaiserslautern!
I've been a baggies fan for over 40 years and by default I should hate Villa (as rivalry goes), but I don't. I have the utmost respect for this Villa team and their achievements. The early 80s was such a historical moment in time for British clubs. Made up of all British and mostly all local lads. Wow how it's all changed. These historical events will never be repeated again and it's quite sad.

J D just like Nottingham Forrest and Aston villa's present is irrelevant. I don't know why people like u don't wanna appreciate Chelsea and man city. Yes they spend a lot of money but that doesn't mean they didn't work hard for trophies.
When Villa & Forest Ruled the _World_ ? In 1980, Uruguay's Nacional defeated Nottingham Forrest and in 1982 Peñarol defeated Aston Villa in the Intercontinental Cups. May have ruled Enland/Europe. There's football outside of Europe and it's sometimes better.
Juan Munoz I support United aswell. When they won the Club World Cup in 2008 I got the winners badge put on my United shirt. It's mostly the English press that dismiss it.
Ben from the lane, The top South American sides don't stand a chance against the top European teams today but a lot of that has to the with the fact that the top South American players almost all play in top European teams. Back then, I don't think you had _any_ South Americans playing for English clubs and teams like Boca Juniors could hold on to a Diego Maradona until he was 22 and that was considered young. These days, the South Americans are coming at a much younger age and this weakens those teams considerably.

How Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest ruled the world if they both lose to Peñarol and Nacional respectively? They ruled Europe back then
Villa fan... Want forest to do well.. One day we will again both rule Europe.... I hope
Clough is the GOAT of managers!
Villa is a huge, huge club they finished in the champions league qualification spot jst 10 years ago, with plyers like Agbonlahor and ashley young
Villa & Forest > Arsenal & City
Khalid Alnajjar derby county> man united
Lol nice joke
@Deimos may I ask with respect, are you from the Greater Manchester region?
@@trawlrz37 arsenal no. Villa are bigger than city
Been waiting for this for a while
When Villa & Forest Ruled Europe... not the world...because they lost against Nacional & Peñarol.... Uruguay
I feel with them. my club is 1860 Munich ( german champion 1966 )
And now they are both in the prem
Here we gooo
As a Chelsea Fc fan, I must admit that I admire these two great clubs. 👍🏿
I’m an Ipswich fan and we won the UEFA CUP in 1981 where’s a video about our history @COPA90 a biased are we?
Now there both in the premier league
And now both are back in premiere league, what a turn around
Both bigger clubs than Manchester City!
Burn
You can say that now but we will continue fighting
Shut up plastic fan
@@villa_tr8488 I'm not plastic you second rate human being
Copa 90 with another great video
Cloughie is the greatest
And still a ram even up there🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏
1:20 Tim Bull have amazing voice .
He must be a sport commentator or somthing like this . His voice seems like voice of an english commentator i forget his name .
Brian Clough was the difference, the greatest English manager that England never had!!!!!!!!!
Bob Paisley
@@tonywilliams7152 He was Scottish.

It's crazy to see how so many great clubs have fallen off since the 80s and 90s. Hope they find their way back one day.
We’re back to where we both belong ❤️🌳
Meanwhile Chelsea’s and City’s history before 2004 is nonexistent
J D just like Nottingham Forrest and Aston villa's present is irrelevant. I don't know why people like u don't wanna appreciate Chelsea and man city. Yes they spend a lot of money but that doesn't mean they didn't work hard for trophies.
Do your homework kid might wanna research Chelsea and man city as well while doing that
@@Rahat-cg8rv I'm a Chelsea fan and even I can agree that without the money we have we wouldn't be the same team we are today.
Villa fan here. We are back to the prem this season and beat Liverpool by 7-2
do Hamburg
Aaarghh watching The Blades play Villa at home tomorrowwww so exited UTBUTBUTB
UP THE VILLA ❤️💙
Great vid
2 big clubs that should be back in the PL

When Villa & Forest Ruled the _World_ ? In 1980, Uruguay's Nacional defeated Nottingham Forrest and in 1982 Peñarol defeated Aston Villa in the Intercontinental Cups.
May have ruled Enland/Europe. There's football outside of Europe and it's sometimes better.
They are English , they don't care about that.
Juan Munoz I support United aswell. When they won the Club World Cup in 2008 I got the winners badge put on my United shirt. It's mostly the English press that dismiss it.
Juan Munoz Yes, but if I say that to a Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea fan they say it isn't a "real" honour
Used to be like that anyway now they don’t stand a chance
Ben from the lane, The top South American sides don't stand a chance against the top European teams today but a lot of that has to the with the fact that the top South American players almost all play in top European teams. Back then, I don't think you had _any_ South Americans playing for English clubs and teams like Boca Juniors could hold on to a Diego Maradona until he was 22 and that was considered young. These days, the South Americans are coming at a much younger age and this weakens those teams considerably.
Villa is back baby
We rule the midlands now 🔵⚪️🏆
Sam Foster not for long😉 forest will be back soon. Respect what you've done though
Haha you are funny
Sam Foster u may be better now but both forest and villa have better histories than Leicester but winning the premier was pretty good ngl
By the time Forest get back in the PL, Leicester will be miles ahead of Forest, with a global fanbase, finances, stability, Forest are history, Leicester City are the future of the Midlands.
Leicester was a 1 off there has to be an underdog winning every now and then
Aston villa and Nottingham Forrest will rise again ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️🚀🚀🚀🚀
Does anyone else think the narrator sounds like memeulous?
Sounds like a slower version yes
Don’t worry, we are back baby! Both clubs about to dominate once again!
More Champions Leagues than Man City!!! 😂😂😂
We are the first boys in claret and blue, West Ham got their colours due to beating us in a wager which led to them getting a squads amount of kits, and Burnley took on Claret after Villa won the 1st Division in 1908
