Nice tour!! I used to live in Mundelein few years back, on the edge of Mundelein, and across Highway 45 was Vernon Hills. Wednesdays and Saturdays I used to take my kids to "just for run roller rink' in Seymour Avenue Mundelein. I used to walk along the Seymour Avenue thinking I should one day taste at 'Taste of Paris' or 'Azteca Mexican' or 'Karina's Bakery' etc.... :) After seeing this video, it looks like the memories are still fresh in my mind, feels like I still live there.
Greg's frozen custard was a treat for us, Coffee and it's aroma at the Mundelein local shop used to pull me to buy a cup of coffee. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for the video. I'm so glad Mundelein continued to grow and made improvements thru the years. This is my hometown 1964-1973. You used a drone and my dad used his Kodak Super 8 movie camera to take movies of us kids. I have his camera, the reels, movie projector and screen. One day soon I think I will set everything up and watch the movies. I haven't seen them since we live in Mundelein. There may be some reels of us here in SC.

My hometown from 69 to 79....415 East Courtland. The factory across the street put on the fireworks each year. Beautiful little town. Gone are the fields of sweetcorn :(

Fireworks for launched from the Mundelein Village yards behind the factory at the moment they still are, but the village doesn't own that property anymore so that's going to have to change. Thanks for watching
