Very subtle shadow selections in both, but Light looks more effortlessly ethereal on you. The shimmer formula seems outstanding in these palettes. Love that they've put out a face and eye palette. It's interesting that the color temperature of the vid switches from warmer to cool/blue when you bring your arm closer to the camera.
Great review! I am a light to medium skin tone.. and I grabbed both lol. I couldn't decide and I'm thinking the light will be great during the day and the dark great for the holidays and date night. They're gorgeous 😍
I have this palette and was about to return it, but after watching your review I am going to give it another chance. Also you have the most gorgeous skin.
I like the fact that this palette seems really easy to use for every day quick makeup look. And I’m so one who does their eye makeup first and then apply foundation and other face products so I don’t mind a little fall out. :) Loved the review! It’s nice to see the comparison between the two versions of this palette. I’m very pale so I’ll go with light one, but the dark one looks really pretty as well! But instead of the dark I’m going to be picking up her Light Glam Face palette and her Glam palette of cool toned eye shadows. I’m set for the year with those! I don’t need to buy anymore makeup for a while! 😃👍
Hi Stacy! Great review and demo on these palettes! I was wondering have you experienced lots of fall outs while wearing the shimmer shades? I saw many Sephora reviews about this issue so I'm hesitant to get it. Btw your skin is flawless! 😭Please share your skincare routine!
hi Jennifer tysm 🥰💕 hm I didn’t experience fallout like throughout the day wearing them. There is some fallout during application though. I also use my fingers and like pat it on my eyes so maybe application has something to do w it. also hehe I barely have a skincare routine rn (curology treatment + neutrogena hydroboost) but I’m not fully satisfied w my skin and I just bought some new stuff so when I settle into the new routine maybe I will share! 💋
I got the light and I agree you can’t go super dark. So I am going to get the dark palette. The chroma crystal is my favorite formula. Where is that top from? It’s so pretty.
