U.S. Women's Open Classic Finishes: 2011

Inclement weather throughout the week made for a frantic finish in the 2011 U.S. Women's Open at The Broadmoor. In the end, it led to the first three-hole aggregate playoff in championship history. Between countrywomen So Yeon Ryu and Hee Kyung Seo.

I remember that year. The weather was a disaster with lightning delaying all 4 days from Thursday through Sunday. Great stuff from Ryu at the end. I felt bad for Seo, as she bogeyed the par 5 17th twice in a row. Seo had 2 good chances to win majors, but didn't.

Yeah, I didn't need to hear anything else. Soon as that gets said out loud, everyone knows what's about to happen.
Also: Ahhhhhh, I forgot NBC used the How to Train your Dragon theme to open some of those US Opens. Good times, good times!
