I bought one about 6 months ago. I love it. I'm over my high end gear snobbiness.....in spite of the fact I have a Les Paul, PRS, Strat, Tele, 335 etc etc. What I love about the Fbird is it's no apologies hugeness. I jam in a somewhat small studio so people FEAR that headstock. I'm careful but accidents will happen. The headstock was hard to get used to but now I love it's pretentiousness and presence. I'm a big guy and this is a very comfy guitar for me. I had to do a set up on it when I got it. The frets were all oxidized and the fretboard dry, but after a little cleaning and a lot of playing it plays like a dream now. I think it's a great sitting down guitar. It fits in your armpit and stays just right. It looks great. Classy. Love the thru body neck design. Love . Love . Love. and what a price. It sounds awesome and most of all it's different than my jam mates Humbucker guitars. The Fbird stands out without being loud. However...the case is HUGE. I got a gig bag for it too that's LARGE. Great video....thanks!!!
I just got one of these about 3 weeks ago, and have been playing it constantly, Epiphone has stepped up in the last few years, I have a 2021 epiphone sg custom that I play a lot too, they’re great, and I can leave my Gibson’s at home if I go out to jam, and no worries. You can find the Epiphone Firebird case on reverb, you need it.
I bought a Gibson firebird reverse v new for 375 w case in 70 when i was a teen . sold it long ago , now i"m nearing 70 and got the epi fb it is good plays great . I like the pups. Nice job !
@@blazeofglory1982 They certainly do! I have a set of their pickups in my Strat, too. I saw them at NAMM, and loved the sound. Bought them immediately.
@@blazeofglory1982 thanks 🙏 I have an opportunity to buy a made in Korea version that is a bolt on. I have every major electric guitar (Strats, tele, etc( but don’t have this one. Is it recommended?

Nice one! I’ve actually been thinking about pulling the trigger on an Epiphone SG Traditional Pro. They look super cool.

Just got one!😎
Enjoy!
I've had one for a few months and it's fantastic. I had a few sharp fret ends but fix it very easily. The sound is like no other guitar.
It’s a lotta guitar for the money! You’re right. The sound is like no other.
@@blazeofglory1982 Absolutely!
Nice demo and playing! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
Is that about 5' long? Case has it's own zip code? ;). Thanks for the tour and comments. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
It’s massive. I gotta find a gig bag for it. Thanks for watching!
I just got the same guitar from Sweetwater, but the case was back ordered , reverb has the case, you need it man.
@@jcrgtattoo333 Enjoy that thing and play it like ya stole it! :). Best Regards and Best Wishes!
Mojotone Johnny Winter pickups are a good choice. I have a Gibson Firebird and replaced the stock pickups with them.
Sweet! Mojotone makes great stuff.

Is this the bolt on version?
@@doonilevitin No actually, it’s a full on neck through.

@doonilevitin part of what makes this guitar sound and feel so great is the neck through design. Personally I wouldn’t go with a bolt on version.
@@blazeofglory1982 thank, sounds reasonable :)
