Great advice, very timely as I was doing some text designs last nigt and was having to space things by eye, and now i know why 👍 EDIT: loving the typography tutorials.
I find these useful; the fonts are the most challenging part for me. Type of font, size, centering, colors, and font themes like retro, 90s vintage. I would like more in-depth on these topics since it's such broad subjects. Thanks
I really like your typography tuts but just finding the grid feature was hard until I found out it was "moved." But no, I don't have the ability to change the size of the grid. No other window opens after I get to the grid, that was so hard to find in the first place.
Hey there! Another window doesn't open when you turn the grid on, but it will apply to your artboard at a certain size, and you can adjust the sizing over in the top left (hamburger) menu under "Guides." Alternatively, you can try CMD and the ' key to turn them on. (Check shortcuts panel in the bottom left size).
@kittldesign Fantastic and helpful video. For those of us who do prefer using guides. I’d love to see Kittl add clipping guides and rulers like PS. It would really make life easier when designing. Is Kittl working on adding this feature? And if so, what’s the timeline? Lastly, these tutorials are super helpful. If possible can you make these typography video tutorials available typography t-shirt templates in Kittl? Could Kittl please add to typography templates the Uber popular t-shirt design that everyone is crushing on right now, with the UNIVERSITY (with the custom text distorted transformation) and the oval shape + coordinating font? This would be much appreciated. Thank you.
@@Kittldesign yes!!! I was working on a poster for print. And it was not an easy experience doing it in kittl. And I’ll be honest, I’m genuinely loving Kittl more and more, but the rulers and guides are a must have especially for print designs. Thank you.

@@Kittldesigngreat. We can make cool design. But fall flat on fonts which makes the designs. Super helpful.
