Ahhh, that little punkin' Desi getting sleepy at the end was so precious. This was beautiful, Susan, as always. I look forward to every Saturday when you post. You have lifted my spirits today when I saw your post as I have new onset asthma (at 65! Can you believe it?) and have been sick 28 days. I hope my symptoms improve as I have no energy living this way amd coughing all the time. I was tested for COVID twice - both negative Praise The Lord! - but the cough persists and is so tiring. But, God is good. He brought me you today to lift my spirits and take my eyes off myself. Thank you, again, Susan. Blessings to you through this week and always!!
Oh Cate I am saying my best prayer for you that you get over that cough....I am so sorry you are going through this. as quickly as it came, it will leave. I have arthritis in my spine and neck and that came on suddenly at 65....some days are not so good and I find as I go along that I try to do just what you are talking about...find something that calms me and take my mind off things...and sing and dance. No matter what...I try to dance..isn't that silly? If I am down or get a little scared I tell Alexa " Play Come & Go With Me" and no matter what, I get up and dance like it's 1962 and I am on the show Bandstand! And it helps so much to feel the life left in me....I so hope you feel better and if you get time, please let me know how you are? Love to you, Susan & Desi
Cate, so sorry that you are going through this health problem. I hope you have someone with you to help. But I see you know the Lord, so you know you can rest in His arms! Take care and keep safe. 🙏🏻
Cate, I've had asthma since I was 10 years old. It can be frightening and so exhausting. I went to a specialist once and he told me that in his experience, people with asthma don't drink enough water. The more hydrated you are, the easier it is to breathe. Another trick that has helped me is to drink hot water with lemon juice in it. Coffee is also good (really!). When you're lying down, tap the tips of your fingers on your chest as if you're playing the piano. It kind of loosens things up.Sleep propped up on pillows. Those are my best tips after 54 years of having asthma. The most important thing is not to be afraid. That cough is exhausting but it will go away. The inflammation just has to subside, and it will. It just takes a little time. I will keep you in my prayers. I'm not a doctor, but I know what helps me. You'll feel better soon. Stay positive!
Hi there. So sorry to hear you have that cough. I usually get one every winter but not this year. I put it down to wearing a mask and washing hands. I would like to share a homemade recipe with you that works at truly lessening cough. Juice half lemon Teaspoon honey Quarter teaspoon fresh ginger Pour enough boiling water over these to make a thin syrup. Sip every few minutes. Make a few of these to have during the day. May this help you.
@@LittlePoet Well, I am now 35 days into the cough. My doctor suggested NyQuil. That stuff is horrible! My cousin suggested Mucinex - that made me cough more. Today I tried Benadryl - cough worsened. I think I will break down and go to an ENT. I have non-Hodgkins lymphoma and so my immune system is low. Non-Hodgkins is never curable, but it is treatable when it arises. I had radiation two years in a row and then chemo for six months the third year. Thank the Lord those treatments are over - the last being chemo in 2014. Because of this persistent cough, I asked my oncologist if I could have a CT scan to rule out the return of cancer; it came out negative, another blessing from God. I also had chest x-rays and blood work. So, nothing is showing up and the cough persists. I also tried a humidifier, which made the cough worse AND checked side-effects from the meds I take - none of them had a cough as a side-effect. I cannot thank you enough for your concern. It is nice to hear someone else cares. May God bless you for that. Arthritis can be so disabling at times. I find taking ibuprofen helps to relieve the symptoms. Both the spine and neck - ouch! I am sure your walking helps to keep your body going. My motto is: Use it or lose it! I think it is so important to keep walking or one day we may not be able to. I see too many elderly on walkers and in wheelchairs. My prayers will be for you daily, for alleviation of your arthritis symptoms. I laughed about the dancing and American Bandstand, I love to dance and had to play "Come and Go With Me." (Yes, I danced to it.) Love to you and precious little Desi :-)
It’s been 14 years since my heart failure diagnosis, 8 years since my husband died from cancer, 6 years in my home, and 3 years since I had my life saved with a heart transplant. I’m finally ready to start my new normal
Christine, you are an inspiration. I got my kidney failure diagnosis in 2015 and a dear friend gave me a kidney in 2017. My husband passed away unexpectedly in 2019 at the age of 54. You and I are in a unique club. Every morning when we open our eyes, we are truly aware that we can do so because another human gave us a priceless gift. No matter what else life throws at us, we have an awareness of the gift that each day truly is that many take for granted. Such a joyful blessing we get to experience! Wishing you health and happiness on your journey!
@@caroletanner9359 Carole I’m so sorry your husband passed. ❤️ I’m so happy you have a great friend to give you that gift! I am grateful every day and know that others have it much worse. Over the past 14 years I’ve come to appreciate what is truly important and let the other stuff go. What you put out in the universe comes back to you. I’m in stage 4 kidney failure but am maintaining so hopefully I won’t need a transplant (58!) God Bless!
Such a lovely video. I was lying here on my bed almost in tears, in a state of depression over my current life situation and there you are, with that sweet dog and your smiling face and that gorgeous music. You are so beautiful and I appreciate you so much for sharing your journey with us. It really does help and it gives me hope that things can change. Thank you!
Myrna, since you said "your current life situation", I'm hoping and praying for you that you can turn that around and that life will look better for you soon and you will have some peace and resolution too. I can admit that this year has just about brought me to my knees, but I've also had some miracles occur and I'm just going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and hope for better days. And I'm sending hugs and best wishes to you. 🤗🌹
I couldn't have said it better myself, Myrna. I feel braver after I see Susan and Desi. We can do this. These are very hard times, but we are made of strong stuff and we have each other. Much love to you.
Same for me Myrna. I was going through a long day alone, missing my grown children, who I don't see very often, and then I remembered Susan's channel and her Saturday video. Reading all the comments also helped me feel less sad and alone tonight.
Hi Susan enjoy you and desi so much.listening to your inspiration and seeing how you have rise above so many challenges.and some off us yet seeking the courage to even change it.im yet searching for answers in myself.im so glad you're sharing little becomes much when we place it in God's Hands.Thank you for sharing your journey.God Bless you.Stay Safe.Stay Smiling.
Hi Susan. I start thinking of you on Fridays. I tell myself Susan will have a video out tomorrow and it makes me so happy to know that. On Saturday I look forward to watching and feeling like my friend came to visit. People on here all say they are calmed by your voice and just by you. I forget I am watching a video and looking at you I feel a friend is visiting. She is in my home while somehow magically I am also in hers, looking at her beautiful things and admiring it all. You share so much of yourself with us and then you say goodbye. It is all over so fast. I find myself saying noooo don't end this yet. Oh Susan if only your video lasted just a little longer but even if it did, we would all feel that it was still too short. You are very loved by all of your subscribers and everyone of us wishes we were your very best friend. In a way we sort of are. See you and Desi next Saturday....it's a deal. :-)
Susan, I just love watching your videos. I’m 70 years, still working full time and I love my life. I’m single but I have my 3 grown children, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. My life is full and precious. I do live with my oldest daughter and I’m grateful to her. I am so happy that we are a close family. I ordered that book 100 Voices, just waiting to receive any day now. Love ❤️ your apt. God Bless you, you are an inspiration.
Hello Susan! I am a health care worker, and I am 63 years of age. Three lady friends and I had been planning a gathering at Thanksgiving, the experts were initially recommending groups of less than ten... An event we were SO looking forward to! We have since cancelled our plans, we feel that it is the right thing to do. Now I, perhaps like you, will be alone for the holiday. I’m telling people that I’m spending Thanksgiving with me, myself and I (and my three cats of course)! I wanted to thank you for your videos, and thank you for your service, for it is truly a service! Your videos are entertaining, they’re authentic, they’re heartwarming, and they are helpful! I love any and all footage of Desi, he’s wonderful! Take care of yourself, dear Susan. Much affection from the city of Detroit. Linda
This tab that I use is my sons. He pasted away 3yrs ago. My name is maria my life is at a stand still but I watch you and somehow for those few moments I'm sitting there with you having a conversation it's a gift. I know my son is safe and happy and is living on and moving forward. In time some day I will to. Change takes time even when it's forced on you. God bless us all.
Maria - I’m so sorry about the loss of your son Julian. That is so incredibly hard for you. I can imagine that he was a wonderful son. I wish you the best.
@@susannovak8263 Thank you Susan for your caring reply I appreciate it. In the 16yrs of going through experimental treatments he never once admitted that he was scared or unsure of his survival my son was brave and gentle. Thank you again Susan Blessings and be safe.
Love your videos, music, photos, Desi! I was diagnosed last month with cancer and start chemo this week. Your videos have brought a wonderful sense of peace to me and I look forward to them each week. Keep up the great work! ❤️ You never know how much they help me.
💐 Vivi Love, My heart goes out to you! ❤️. I was diagnosed 20 years ago with breast cancer and went through a double mastectomy. Only look forward to after your treatments. If you need to have “hair help” do it! Look as good as you can manage to every day. It’s VERY important to. My prayers go with you💕😊🙏🤗🤗🤗
Vivi Love, I am praying for your complete healing. With your wonderful attitude, you will beat this and live a fulfilling life. May God bless you with healing power.
@@susanjohnson5653 I am praying for you, Susan. Wearing caps and hats and scarves is a lovely thing. I am making a hat right now for my beloved Aunt who is going through chemo right now. May you stay strong and well.
I hope the holidays will get better for you Jody. I think this may have been the hardest year I can remember for many reasons but I'm sending you best wishes for happier times. I'm trying to make myself take positive steps forward but some days it seems like 1 step up and 2 steps back. All the best to you dear. 🌹❤️
I have a friend who has amazing skin. We went out shopping and I picked up a face oil, she looked at me and said “if you’ll trust me, I’ll give you some advice” She said “if you want great skin, warm up a tiny bit of Olive oil, and massage it into your face every night” I thought what have I got to lose, so I tried it. Now I know why her skin is so amazing. My skin has NEVER looked so good, and I don’t have to spend a fortune.
Hi Susan, I recall wanting you to move because I love newness then I wanted you to stay put because I don't care for change when all is going well. In the end I realized all I really wanted was your and Desi's happiness.
I love your words and that was so much of what I was trying to express...during such a scary time to move and leave the only home I knew for 8 years....saying goodbye to friends and neighbors, low rent and that beautiful landscaping...it was hard for me...but just the fact that you and other beautiful ladies cared what I did was enough to make me move my feet and do something bold. I think as we grow older the hardest thing we do is "change"...change is hard....but it's so rewarding when we find our solid ground again....we embrace a touchstone that no matter where we land, we are going to be ok.Love to you always, Susan & Desi
Hi, just listening to you makes me tear up. You're so calming in these hard times, and positive. Your skin is so beautiful, so are you. Love from Michigan ❤️
I have often wondered if it would be ok for me to post every Wednesday like a little hello video...no editing..just me and Desi saying a quick hi and showing something fun we got.......would folks like that do you think?
Hi Susan, You are a very strong beautiful independent woman. You speek your truth. What you do is bring woman together and you make us feel that we are not alone. We all have some little thing in common. Love, Loss, Happiness, Sorrow, Family, Pets, Thrifting, Fashion, Skincare, Decorating, Music, Nature, Photography, Friendships. I love that you share your life, thoughts and feeling with all of us and we can do the same. I have never met you but I feel we are friends in a different kind of way. You came into my life through your channel and I Thank You for putting yourself out there to make us all feel connected together. God Bless you & Dessi and Happy Thanksgiving 2020.
You bless my existence with your special, comforting presence! Somehow, I find myself wishing I really had you in my life as a dear friend! My weekends are never complete anymore unless I take in your video, and I thank you for the few minutes of “spirit lifting” you provide. God’s choicest blessings be upon you my internet bestie! Desi is so sweet! I’m glad you have each other! Your videos are very special, you have a gift for creating them! Your new place has come together beautifully so far, hope you are enjoying it thoroughly! 🙋🏻♀️
Oh thank you so much for your kindness...I do find comfort in my new place...it feels like home...I hope your week is being good to you!..xxoo Susan & Dez
Get the kettle. I don't have a red one (yet) but I use mine for hot tea every day and it is such a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I hope you find a red one you love!
Hi Susan I think my favourite thing about your videos is the cinematography, the sense of light and life that you put in your videos. All the wonderful displays interspersed with colours and shapes from nature make your videos unique in this youtube realm. Your content can be emotional or inspirational (as can the comments underneath), but other times it's more light hearted and fun. That diversity is also refreshing, as your content remains fairly fresh because of that occasional change of pace. Whilst I haven't actually bought any of the items as I live in Scotland, the skirt and the teal kimono were some of my favourites shown over the year. I tend to use very science based skincare, but not massively expensive products. i do pay for my tretinoin prescription and use a lot of Korean beauty, due to the price for the ingredients/formulations being very fair. I'm very interested in ingredients and the science of what they do for our skin, probably due to life long eczema and the advent of rosacea during menopause. I want my skincare to actually treat my skin concerns and I'm very careful what I use. I have to confess I haven't bought a lipstick all year, but lip balm is another story - I bought a few lol. That and handcream for obvious reasons. Best wishes.
Susan, I enjoy your channel so much. I wonder if there is a way you could "live chat" with your viewers on Thanksgiving. Many of us live alone and it would be wonderful to be able to visit together on that day. If live streaming is not possible, hopefully you could post an extra video for us to view on Thanksgiving Day.
Hi Robin - I have been using Differin every other night for about a year now (I alternate with a Tretinoin prescription). When I was using Differin exclusively, I really noticed a difference in my skin, too!
Hi Susan I recall admiring your little cozy apt but totally understood the laundry situation, more space & longing for more. I love your new place❣ Spectacular views, spacious & more convenient. You did good my friend! You & Desi are well loved by so many of us. Remain blessed throughout the holidays🤗😍
The butterfly chair and ottoman are so pretty. I see Desi likes it too. It’ll soon be snuggly throws and candles weather. Time for hygge! I’ve been reading up on it and it’s what gets the Danish through the short winter days. Love your new place. Having the balcony visually expands a place doesn’t it. Pet Desi for me. ❤️
Hi Susan, I've just found your videos and am getting so much out of them. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us. I sometimes think I'm the only single divorced 60's empty nester woman in the world, and of course I know that's not true, but I certainly don't have any friends that are in the same place as I am. With covid, it seems it's only amplified and in my face. I have recently moved from an apartment to a house! I'm exhausted and overwhelmed from the painting, cleaning and repairs that are still needing to be done. I had to remind myself this morning to just breathe and appreciate and feel proud of myself for this big accomplishment that I did all on my own. It's my first home loan based on my income alone- no husband salary involved. I get nothing from him anymore and I've worked so hard the past 10 years to become independent and set myself up for the future. I can't wait to listen to all your videos and look forward to your new ones. I have a lot to catch up on! One other thing I'd like to say, or rather ask you, and that is - - Could you share your music choices with us? I find them so soothing and would love to be able to access them. I hope your week is as lovely as you are :)
It has been a long, hard day for me, company just left, I got in my pajamas, did my evening skin care routine, and used my rose hip seed oil and the gel for under my eyes, along with black castor oil, got into bed, and said ok now it’s my favorite time Saturday night with Susan (Little Poet) put my IPad on and there you were.... Susan this was such a GREAT VIDEO, so interesting seeing what your subscribers favorites were. I use most of the creams, I came very close to buying the butterfly chair, but it would clash in the room I would have wanted it, and I tried on the cardigan at Kohl’s, in front of one of the mirrors, since we can’t use dressing rooms. When I first saw that cardigan I said OMG this would be perfect on Susan, then one day you were modeling it... and you look beautiful in it, on me it was just a little too long. Watching your videos, bring me such pleasure and happiness, it’s better then the Hallmark channel. Love to you and Desi, and have a wonderful week ahead❤️🎼🎤❤️🎤🎼🦋 I adore you ❤️
You are so wonderufl and kind...I just love hearing about your life!!! I love comapny but I do get so tired when they leave!!! A Love crash I think!!! Happy weekend to you!!!
I did too, I can’t believe how I don t even need foundation anymore also My eyelids have actually lifted, I had faint puppet lines which have disappeared, and forehead looks smooth like glass, I am 69 years old, it is amazing stuff, and I thank God I found Susan, I just love her, her videos are the best on utube, she is so talented, so down to earth, I truly adore her. I am so glad you are also having great results,I actually do not use all the expensive nighttime creams I used to use. Rose hip seed oil , is all I need, and I do use the eye gel Susan recommends. I Coupled the gel with black castor oil. The black castor oil has been a lifesaver on my eyebrows, and eyelashes they are full, where before I had seen some thinning... If Susan recommends products I feel I need , I never hesitate to purchase, a I trust her that much...
Beautiful lady...I cannot tell you the peace and happiness your videos bring to my life. I'm struggling with life at the moment... I'm in my 50's... 55 on Monday actually...I shall treat myself to re-watching some of your videos. I have a very special tray...it is gold and has birds in flight on it. I'm going to make myself some delicious coffee in my French press, some lemon curd on granary toast...and arrange it on my fabulous tray.....and then enjoy your videos. Much love to you and darling Desi. 🌺🌺🌺
Oh Susan, I just love hanging out with you! I love that lipstick too, and I would buy everything you recommend if I could afford to. Love you so much!!♡
Hi Sues! I love when you post a video. You always get me thinking. I was one of those, I didn't verbalize it though, wishing that you weren't moving. I loved your little apartment. But guess what? I love your new place and I love that you and Desi are happy there. Ya know it's not the home. It's the person living in it. And you and Desi are so special to me. No matter where you would live, it would be warm and cozy and full of love because you guys are in it. I love when you do this type of video. Sues, you've recommended so many wonderful products this year. Last January I bought a whole lot of skincare. I really love that Hemp Aloe vera serum so much. I use it at night. I first use the Flora and Bast CBD, then your serum and then I seal it with the O Naturals nourishing night cream. It works great for me. I really love Rosehip seed oil too. I've got the Cacao oil, but I think I like the Rosehip seed oil better. Sues thankyou for uploading such wonderful content with such great suggestions. Take good care. Try to have a good week. Much love and a big hug to you and Desi..❤🤗❤
You are a beautiful soul, Susan! I love your sweet, kind spirit, your optimistic attitude and the warmth that flows from your heart. Thank you for blessing me and so many others with your weekly videos. ♥️
I don't know how you do it, Susan, but the minute I start your videos and hear the music you choose, and see your photos, I relax, immediately. I love the tip of adding oil to foundation, and castor oil. My favorite videos are tours of your apartments, but I also love it when you go shopping. Whenever I watch you, I want to go hug my dog, lol! I love you and Desi. I just wish I had found you years ago. 👩🏻💖
I bought the cardinal pajamas for me and as a gift for my sister (shh, don’t tell her). Our mother loved cardinals so wearing these for me is like a warm soft hug from her. I hope my sister feels the same way when she gets hers.
That chair reminds me of the one that’s in the show called revenge. It’s not the same but it reminds me of that. I agree with you home is wherever you’re the happiest and I love that you have more room and to be honest you seem a little happier there 😂 not that you were the downer at the party at your other place at all but I mean there’s something MORE bouncy and glowing about you here 😉 love you two! 🤟🏻💋
It's been a hard year fir everybody....and I think I am trying harder to tap into my joy...and this new place is good for my soul...I live practically in the woods...so that soothes my soul...I miss you Mary...was it really a year ago we did our Christmas collab? I loved doing that...it felt important...give you hugs from me and Dez
Susan: You are such a great story teller, what a gift you have and share every week with us. I love your musical selections. Vit D is so important for our health and studies have shown how important it is to help prevent “the virus”. When mine was first checked about 10 yrs ago it was at a critical low level. Thanks for all your hard work. See you next week.
I loved your video tonight. You know, it has been a crappy day. Between feeling old and looking old and knowing I can't go back in life is depressing. Yet I know I have to work to pull myself out of this state of mine. It started with positive thoughts after watching your video tonight. Thank you. I know I have much more than others have and a lot less than some. I just have to make what I have count!
Really enjoyed this video but I always enjoy your videos. I remember that video when you shared your heart with us about what happened in your marriage. I know that wasn’t easy for you to talk about such a painful time. You are a strong lady Susan and your channel speaks hope and courage to all of us. I loved your sweet little apartment and kind of didn’t want you to leave it but I love your new place now. You have put your special touch on it and made it a beautiful warm and cozy home. Most of all, you and Dezi are happy and at the end of the day, that’s all that matters. I’m happy for you! Hugs to you and Dezi!
So much to ponder when I watch your videos!! They are always so heartwarming! So fun too! Just hearing your voice is a comfort! Wish we could hear from your every day!! Keep 'em coming dear Susan!! We love you and Desi !!!
Your vids are so relaxing and lovely. There are so many of us out there....happy, glowing, vibrant single women over 60 y.o. I now have a precious apartment and a patio with a view. PS: I use Differin, Rose Hip oil, have your exact kimono and have utilized your hair care videos to grow out my hair. 11.5 months later it is beautiful. And...I found someone to do a spectacular cut for $20.00. Thank you so much Susan. ❤
Loved this video and seeing all the favorites, I have gotten several of your skin care must have. Your new home is perfect for you and Desi, especially with the deck patio. Your views of the woods is wonderful. Love to you, Desi and Bill, hope you have a wonderful week.
Hi Beautiful Susan and gorgeous little Desi, how could we not love him , he is the most beautiful little doggy, his little face melts my heart. Lovely to see you again Susan, that was a wonderful video as usual. I do wish we lived closer, but Australia is a long way from you. I do really look forward to seeing you both every week. It has been a very long year I'm looking forward to it being over. Take care Susan and hug Desi for me, Love and hugs always.💞💞🐶
The first video I ever watched was the new apartment tour. Thank you for providing a safe haven of content. Life is so crazy these days for all of us that I for one appreciate slowing down and watching you and Des. Thank you!
I think the best thing you did for yourself was move. A beautiful new apartment to make new memories. You've decorated it beautifully. I also adore that floral skirt. The print is gorgeous. You look so pretty in it with the belt & blouse. The kimonos are another favorite that you wore. Beautiful prints. It's been a tough year for everyone. It's going to be a tough Thanksgiving for many. I pray people stay home even if it means you'll be alone. Next year I pray people will be able to gather together. It's too scary to think of lots of people crowding around the table & spreading the virus. You might thing your fine but you can be a super spreader. One day together is not worth making a friend or family member ill. A friend of mine had to go to the hospital for pneumonia. It scares me to think of the germs in the hospital. I can't even visit her. I just will pray for everyone to be sensible. Love you, Lucy
You are my friend via TH-cam and I think of you often. I’m 55 and thinking of all the concerns you sometimes have and also the happiness that appears often to. Thank you for sharing your life and tender moments. Your videos are my Sunday morning (saturdays are usually packed with errands) pleasure. Quiet morning time with Susan. I hope you know based on all these comments that you have such an impact on so many that feel many emotions you do. We aren’t alone, are we? We all have each other. How special is that? And how special YOU are by sharing!
Susan, I feel your heart and sincerity in your videos. You are so inspiring in many’s ways. I’m 70, widowed and living alone these past two years has been hard. You encourage me and give me hope and for that I am grateful. God bless you!💗💗
Susan I want you to know that I have been watching your videos for about a year now and every time I watch them it lifts my spirits up. I feel blessed to have found you on here and dezzy is great too. God Bless You ❤️
I enjoyed seeing you and Desi today! Thanks for sharing your products, advice and good cheer! I love your butterfly chair and the tree with lights behind it! You’ve created a warm and cozy place . Take care.🌻
Thanks Susan for sharing all our favorites with us! 😄 Desi sure watches over you and his eyes show so much love for you! Also I did purchase the French chair from overstock and am very happy with it. Sorry again that you can’t see Bill especially with the upcoming holidays. Talking is 2nd best and praying 2021 is better for us all. 🙏❤️
Susan you always make me smile no matter how I’m feeling that day, hugs and much love to you and our handsome little Desi. You always look so elegant and beautiful in your skirts, you have such a knack for putting outfits together. Wish you had a POBox listed so I could send him little presents.🎄❤️🙏🏻
I always look forward to your videos Susan. I have been binge watching for about 3 weeks now. I've been having some anxiety issues lately and your voice and videos are very calming. I'll be turning 60 in a few months so have had a lot of yhings going through my mind. So glad to be able to visit with you and Desi. 🤗❤🐶
I lost my little dog, after 16 years together, back in April, I have been so lost without her, seeing your Desi rescue video in my recommendations brought me to you & I have not looked back I relish all the beauty & wisdom you bring each week and little Desi the icing on the cake. xx
Susan, I only discovered your channel a couple of months ago. But what a wonderful day that was! I wish I had discovered you sooner, but I am just blessed to have found you at all. I treasure your kind, gentle voice, the emotion you show as you help navigate us through a turbulent, disturbing year and beyond! You are a beacon for me, as I just turned 60, giving me hope to maintain beauty, grace and an attitude of appreciation for all that I am, even when sometimes things seem "less" as I age, I am encouraged to make more of it through your example. Hugs and thanks to you and Desi for giving me a fresh outlook. And your other listeners/watcher community are all amazing, inspiring women.
Oh Susan when are you going to perform Mr Crazy is Gone. I love your songs. This video was very endearing and I'm grateful for all of your encouraging words. Desi looks like he's getting used to the camera and yes he's the guest star of all of your videos and he makes us all smile. Thank you for sharing Shalom.
Oh Susan, you are such a treasure. You are an unexpected gift to my life. I have tried so many of the products that you recommended. All are a plus. I am new at learning about applying and wearing makeup. At 73! It is so fun... even when it is all wrong for me and exhilarating when it is right for me. I owe you so many thanks. Too many to mention as it would take pages to record them all. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay wise. You are already beautiful inside and out! See you next time! ❤️ Suzy
This was fun! While Desi is a big favorite (as was Cooper), YOU are my favorite! ❤️. My aunt from Ann Arbor / Brighton, MI passed away this week. It's sad seeing this generation slip away. She started up family reunions after our mom (her sister) passed over 30 years ago. She did it mostly for my sister and me so we wouldn't lose touch with the rest our family. Blessings to you and Desi from Midas and me
Thank you for this video , is a collection of good feelings ....I love your inner person so sincere and open .... your home represents the beauty in you...I did have blood work this week and yes my vitamin D is low so doctor put me on 2000 milligram Daily
Oh Susan, I had a huge grin on my face and giggled too through this video!!! You are so much fun!!! Thanks for sharing the favs; so enlightening isn't it? And that Desi!! He gets cuter every week!! Have a great week!!!
Sues, you are my favorite person on UT. I truly love you, even though we've never met. I always look forward to your videos, because they bring a calmness and contentment (even the emotional ones). You are so real and I love that about you.
Oh Stephanie...how can I thank you for being so kind about this little video...you have always been so wonderful to me from day one...I owe you so much. Life is so much easier when we have friends that truly understand and lift us up...my love to you always, Sues
Gorgeous lady ! Thank you for your beautiful uplifting video. You always stir my soul and make me think deeper about my life! You are my favorite person on TH-cam...Have a super blessed day and hugs to beautiful Desi xoxox
Susan!!! I really love how your new place is coming together!! It’s starting to feel like home! Your happiness shows and I’m so happy for you. Thank you for another wonderful weekly visit.
Like others have said you are a bright spot in our lives! My daughter and her boyfriend had covid (both got sick pretty close to the same time) - thankfully didn't have to go to the hospital - getting better each day. I am 73 with immune issues so couldn't go take care of them. Today I was feeling a bit low so decided to watch your video which always helps. Strange to say to someone I have never met but you are a wonderful person. Stay safe!
I always love your editing. Maybe it's the mood I'm in, or the music you chose today, but it was just so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story of Bill with us previously. I know I was one of your nosy friends, and I appreciate your openness. How is Bill? I remember a couple of years ago you told us you found him and that he was in a nursing home. I remember you saying I believe, that he may not make it to November. I think that was at least two November's ago. And up until recently I remember you were visiting him at least once a week. I'm assuming you aren't allowed to visit him as nursing homes are restricting visitors. Anyway your videos always bring me a little piece of calm in a crazy week. Thank you, Susan for being so faithful at bringing us a new video with your thoughts and experiences each week. 🥰
Hello! I am so happy that you are settled in your new apartment and you are happy! May the Lord bless you and Desi and may you have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving!
Susan you are such a sweet sensative person, we all make decisions in life that are hard. But that makes us stronger people and we say to ourself Tommorow is another day. Because God wants us to be happy in life. Desi is just the sweetest thing. Have a blessed week. Take care stay safe from England 🥰🥰
You look great not like Raging Bull but I do from Chinese food last night. Love the music you play along with your soothing voice. I deal with anxiety and find your videos calming ❤️
I’m in love with Dezi ❤️and I absolutely love your sweet caring heart. I bought the Aura Cacia Rose Hip Seed oil and I’ve been using it about a month now. I have noticed a small change in my face. I just turned 61 yesterday and I want to look as beautiful as you do. 💞
Juice half lemon
Teaspoon honey
Quarter teaspoon fresh ginger
Pour enough boiling water over these to make a thin syrup.
I laughed about the dancing and American Bandstand, I love to dance and had to play "Come and Go With Me." (Yes, I danced to it.)
Love to you and precious little Desi :-)
It’s been 14 years since my heart failure diagnosis, 8 years since my husband died from cancer, 6 years in my home, and 3 years since I had my life saved with a heart transplant. I’m finally ready to start my new normal
You're a miracle, Christine! I'm very sorry about your husband. I hope your new normal is beautiful and happy.
Your comment Touched My Heart!🙏
All the best Christine.
I’m in stage 4 kidney failure but am maintaining so hopefully I won’t need a transplant (58!)
God Bless!
It will get better Myrna. ❤
Sending hugs from the UK xx
Susan, you have a way of stirring my emotions and making me think deeper about my life and everything! You could be a life coach! ❤️😘 xoxo
That's the truth!!
Who could not love Desi's adorable little face and his look of vulnerability?🥰
me too!
You are so blessed🎄❤️
Linda
Thank you for being on the front lines, helping the rest of us. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving, however you spend it. xoxo~

Thank you Susan for your caring reply I appreciate it. In the 16yrs of going through experimental treatments he never once admitted that he was scared or unsure of his survival my son was brave and gentle. Thank you again Susan
Blessings and be safe.
Maria, I’m so sorry for the loss of your son, my heartfelt condolences, bless you.🙏🏻❤️🎄
@@BlingyBea hello there and Thank you for your kindness I wish a very Merry Christmas to you and your family. Stay safe. God bless us All
Love your videos, music, photos, Desi!
@@susanjohnson5653 I am praying for you, Susan. Wearing caps and hats and scarves is a lovely thing. I am making a hat right now for my beloved Aunt who is going through chemo right now. May you stay strong and well.
I’m going through a very sad time in my life, your videos bring me peace and joy, thank you for that!!!

We went out shopping and I picked up a face oil, she looked at me and said “if you’ll trust me, I’ll give you some advice”
She said “if you want great skin, warm up a tiny bit of Olive oil, and massage it into your face every night”
I thought what have I got to lose, so I tried it. Now I know why her skin is so amazing.
My skin has NEVER looked so good, and I don’t have to spend a fortune.
Hi Susan, I recall wanting you to move because I love newness then I wanted you to stay put because I don't care for change when all is going well. In the end I realized all I really wanted was
your and Desi's happiness.
Desi is so sweet. Dogs pick their favorite spot and it looks like the butterfly chair for the win. And “we all have each other.”💗
I will say again I love, love, love your new apartment and I’m so glad you’re happy there.
Hi, just listening to you makes me tear up.
You're so calming in these hard times, and positive.
Your skin is so beautiful, so are you.
Love from Michigan ❤️
Thank you so much! Have a Merry Christmas Jill and thank you fro your kindness :) xxoo Susan
I wish you would post more often. Your videos give me so much peace and serenity!
I have often wondered if it would be ok for me to post every Wednesday like a little hello video...no editing..just me and Desi saying a quick hi and showing something fun we got.......would folks like that do you think?
@@LittlePoet definitely 🙋🏼♀️
LittlePoet that would be VERY ok! We would all love it! How about Vlogmas for December leading up to Christmas?
I look forward to your videos, Susan. 🌹
I want that chair, but with Desi in it. Deal?
Yeah, I know the answer. Lol. 🐾🐾❤️❤️
He's such a little angel dog!

I bought that red toaster! They also have an electric kettle which I'm seriously looking at...blessings, Susan
Get the kettle. I don't have a red one (yet) but I use mine for hot tea every day and it is such a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I hope you find a red one you love!
Does that toaster have a cancel button? We need a good toaster. They are hard to find.

I just adore you Susan. You are such a kind heart and a sweet spirit! Be Well my friend! Ty for sharing with us!
So happy to see you Susan! ❤️
I'm older with dark rough skin patches at my temples. The Differin is smoothing and fading it out. It's amazing.
Hi Robin - I have been using Differin every other night for about a year now (I alternate with a Tretinoin prescription). When I was using Differin exclusively, I really noticed a difference in my skin, too!
You have created such a beautiful safe haven for you and Desi. You must feel such joy when you walk through your door!
I am so glad your happy and glad u moved. It’s just so beautiful! Love Desi!
Love you and Desi🌸🌷🌸
I could sit & visit with you for hours. Your videos are over to quickly!!
We watch u cuz we admire u and relate in some way to hardship. So since we admire u we look to c how U deal with hardship. It brings us up!
Love to you and Desi, and have a wonderful week ahead❤️🎼🎤❤️🎤🎼🦋
I adore you ❤️
You are so wonderufl and kind...I just love hearing about your life!!! I love comapny but I do get so tired when they leave!!! A Love crash I think!!! Happy weekend to you!!!
Hi Christine! I started using Rosehip seed oil more than a year ago on Susan’s recommendation. I love what it does to my skin.
Coupled the gel with black castor oil.
The black castor oil has been a lifesaver on my eyebrows, and eyelashes they are full, where before I had seen some thinning...
If Susan recommends products I feel I need , I never hesitate to purchase, a I trust her that much...
You always give us your heart. I am so happy you are walking in your life with more confidence and more happiness. God bless you.
Thank you Jean so much!
Hello from Ireland
Love your videos x
Yes Ireland is watching you
Beautiful lady...I cannot tell you the peace and happiness your videos bring to my life.
Susan, I just love you !! I feel like you're a trusted long time friend !! Thank you for sharing honestly, your joys and your sorrows...... huge hugs
Thank you for being You! No matter where you go, you are being true to yourself!

You are a beautiful soul, Susan! I love your sweet, kind spirit, your optimistic attitude and the warmth that flows from your heart. Thank you for blessing me and so many others with your weekly videos. ♥️
You always put a smile on my face, Thank you.
It's been a hard year fir everybody....and I think I am trying harder to tap into my joy...and this new place is good for my soul...I live practically in the woods...so that soothes my soul...I miss you

Hi Susan! I love your little Desi...I just want to hug him!

Hello Sweet lady love your videos love from London xx
Wow! My week just isn't complete until I've watched your newest video and had my virtual visit with you and Desi!
Love the spring floral skirt on you! It's gorgeous!!!
Take care.🌻
I purchased the dog sheets and I love them! My grandson loves the sheets even more! He saids “now we have 9 million dogs!”
I always feel happy when I watch your videos. Keep it up.
Home is where my dog is
I lost my little dog, after 16 years together, back in April, I have been so lost without her, seeing your Desi rescue video in my recommendations brought me to you & I have not looked back I relish all the beauty & wisdom you bring each week and little Desi the icing on the cake.
Desi is such a little gentleman...Be well.. Be happy ! God bless.
❤️ Suzy
Hi Susan, lovely to see you and Desi as always. Have a safe and happy week xxx
Blessings to you and Desi from Midas and me
OH deb, I am so sorry for your loss...are you doing ok?
@@LittlePoet I'm doing fine. She had lived a long, full life. I'm more concerned about my cousins (her sons). Thank you for your concern.
Thank You. I felt since this morning so much sadness. An now I'm smiling, and crying at the same time. 💝
I LOVE the way you decorate your home. It looks so warm and inviting.
@@LittlePoet Thank you for being you.
I love that pink colored skirt, love you and desi,God bless both of you.and the world.
Another heartwarming video, beautiful sentiment, kind and sincere words. You, Desi and your new apt are lovely. Stay well. Hugs, Senior diva 🥰
You look great not like Raging Bull but I do from Chinese food last night. Love the music you play along with your soothing voice. I deal with anxiety and find your videos calming ❤️
Same love her voice its calming to me ...like Julie Andrews voice ❤
You lift my heart every week to appreciate the life and family we have. XO
I love that skirt Susan
I’m in love with Dezi ❤️and I absolutely love your sweet caring heart. I bought the Aura Cacia Rose Hip Seed oil and I’ve been using it about a month now. I have noticed a small change in my face. I just turned 61 yesterday and I want to look as beautiful as you do. 💞
