- New French hatch offers plenty of style and luxury, but does it have the substance to match its substantial price? 👉 Full Review: www.carsales.com.au/editorial...
The third-generation Peugeot 308 brings a stylish new design, loads of standard equipment and the French car-maker’s new Porsche/Ferrari/Lamborghini-style logo.
But in Premium hatch form it also has a near-$50K price tag, making it as expensive as some Audi A3, BMW 1 Series and Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatches.

130 hp is nothing and it looks like it has 300 hp. Shame because it looks very attractive.
Very good the presentation of this video of what is the Peugeot 308 GT Premium.
Great vid, Could you guys also include driveaway price in the review? thanks.
Very happy with our 308 wagon.
Don't have any problem with the steering wheel & adjustment & visibility.
I am having a problem with the Sat Nav ,but that is probably more down to me .
The other problem so far is ,I would like a space saver wheel just in case ,trying to source this at the moment.
Otherwise, learning as we go, & very happy with it.
What's difference between gt and normal?
Am at ods a loved my 307 so i do and a love the new ford st but I have had ev the last year half and savings on fuel has been crazy
The name 308 GT is the only turbocharged sport hatch instead of a GTi hot hatch but it's only FWD and it has futuristic electronic consoles.
You have a armrest in the back, the middle part can be lowered
That's a great looking car. Love the design. Yes, it's not meant to be a hot hatch but why does have to be so gutless? When you're driving something as sharp and sporty as this you at least want to be able to get past a truck in a short overtaking lane safely and with confidence.
No problem with out GT Hybrid - Very sharp acceleration
I'd Take The 308 Over The Golf Anyday!
Wonderful Peugeot!!
Lime cordial is the name of the colour.
She was right. It’s called Olivine Green.
This car with around 180hp would be perfect. 130hp just isn’t enough to justify the price
I wonder which models they will bring to Australia? - We certainly need a diesel - preferably a 2L diesel engine.
First ! Love this Vehicle driven predecessor and unfortunately have their euro glitches !! Electrical etc.
Everything the current Golf isn’t - classy and desirable. In fact I’d take it in preference to an ugly BMW 1 series and common A class. What an achievement.
I'm not interested in looks. Ride, handling, performance, comfort, reliability, safety. Looks comes in at about no. 25 in importance.
Needs more power.
I've driven it, and for the avg everyday person, it doesn't.
maybe only the French is interested
I heard from a frenchman his new 308 hatch can carry his garbage in style!
Stupid comment.
No thanks. MG4 is the best hot hatch
🤣🤣🤣
You can't be serious. Peugeot 308 wipes the foor with your MG4.

Rubbish. MG4 rated 9/10 on carwow and 9/10 on topgear. It's a bespoke EV build from ground up, excellent driving dynamics
@@protagonist9716 Grotesque ratings. That's it. German, Swiss, Austrian press have a different opinion. You bash the car just because it's a French one.
Best car in its category but host just prefers to be overly severe with it. Fact is : it's a much better than rivals. Much better. If it was a German car, she would have praised that car non stop, but it's a Peugeot, so she prefers to show some doubts over it. What a petty attitude.
