Freediving Jordan | Cargo Ship Wreck | Cedar Pride

- Cedar Pride Wreck - Freediving Red Sea, Aqaba, Jordan.
Cedar Pride Wreck is just huge. Top of the wreck sits at about 12 meters on average, but the wreck is sitting on a slope. The bottom edge of the wreck is at 26m, but the wreck is perched on a steep slope, if you touch down a few meters beyond the wreck you may find yourself even deeper then 30+. My deepest dive on this wreck was 26m, just beyond the bow of the ship, and i was not at the bottom yet!
Many of the swim through's were kinda blocked with coral, and none of the scuba divers I was watching penetrated the boat. However I think there are a couple of routes through the bridge section, I only included one in this video though.
Since the boat is so huge, its hard to fit eveything in.. if I had filmed this video in the my usual style of longer dives I would not have been able to have covered all the areas within a 5 min video.
This video is broken up into 3 main sections, first is the bow section, then middle is the cargo bays, then the bridge section, and finally the propeller and rear section.
For this dive, I met up with 3 Jordanians who I had met through my youtube channel before. They really helped me out with everything so a big tanks to them... without them I would have had no buddy and no video.... Freediving might seem like an individual sport, but in some ways its a team sport, somebody has got to have your back or you are going nowhere fast in this sport.
The intro part of the video is shot at Petra, again thanks to my Jordanians friends who accompanied me.

Nice place! I usually can hold my breath around 3-4mins+ for static but when i'm down like 10m or more, its pretty hard to stay relax and swim around. usually is down and up. how to you get so relax! and your video on how to breath up and do a longer breath hold was the few video i watched that got me into free diving and learning the ways of breath hold. ofcouse i did go to classes after! :D

I've been scuba diving at that wreck and u missed out a very cool large air pocket on the side on the ship ( inside the large dark square). your able to stick ur head out the water

Hey man, are you using a filter for what i assume is a gopro, for your underwater shots? going to be in thailand next week and looking to use a filter, not sure if ill need one/ what colour.

I agree that the music isn't realy a good choise try some Aste Shambala EP (Desert Queen might be the best) the musics are at some thing like 90bpm and they have sort of calm tune so I think its between calm and exiting
or it may be the fotage try doing some nice movements underwater like a 360 in 3s and donuts shaped bubbles and geting the caméra closer to the boats/fish well I don't really know they are just ideas I didn't try it out my self of making a exiting scubadiving video ^^'

Unable to watch this video because of the terribly stressful music. Such a mindframe that this music represents is in no way suitable for freediving.
I'm sure I have a few other vids that might be more watchable for you. Not easy to get the music right everytime due to youtube music copyrighting. This is one track I managed to get a licence for, the middle easter sound made me think it could go with the Jordan location. so i tried to make it work. Its is probably the most aggressive track out of all the ones on my channel. Guess it failed for some people. sorry about that
