Nice to see 2nd Ave before the bombing. At 34:30 into the video the videographer is about 10 ft. to the right of where the bomb exploded. The good news is that a lot of the old bricks have been saved and rebuilding will start soon.

@@EpicIndianaFootage None of the damage has been repaired yet. Architects are still working on the design for the area. They may leave an open space as a walkway down to the river.
I've lived here for 7 years.after fending off19 robbery attempt on me,some armed,mostly gang bangers between the ages of 9 through 20 . Down at the river I was jumped for my e bike on first and Broadway just after dark.spent 2 weeks in the Vanderbilt trauma unit where I lost my right eye and had titanium facial reconstruction.one of them dug out my eyes with his thumbs. He was about 25 and I am a 60 year old man. They were able to save my right eye.I do not go down there when the sun goes down.Nashvillians', exercise your recent right to open carry in this town!
If you noticed, I picked up my pace in a few areas on the east part of downtown where I was alone and the area was riskier. I really had no plan and didn't know what I'd run into when I started this walk.

I LOVE Nashville! I moved to a town appx 40 mintes from there back in 1989. I have seen it progress & change. Such a beautiful city?
