Id like to purchase one but noticed the rpm was redlining at 6k instead of 65k. Thats going to be a problem since i like to track my SS once in a while and dont want to have to shift early or redline motor every time.

Absolutely! Once you change the settings to be MPH, everything changes ands stay set to MPH on all modes.
