HMPFH my 2023 from september does not have this function......and i just had the car for a software update + full update on all modules. I have the regular luxury (trophy in other countries) not the extended range. Why on earth do i not have it :( would think it does not need a completely new module in the car to achieve that. Also did not know the refresh got a rear wiper!
Luckily the MG4 is pretty good value, with a lot of kit as standard. So far it’s been pretty reliable check out some of my other videos for a few minor issues i’ve experienced. We’ll see how it goes after few years. One thing is for sure EVs low maintenance and running costs are excellent. I highly recommend intelligent Octopus. My MG4 Essence in Australia (which I think is the Trophy in the UK) comes with a 7 year unlimited km warranty on the car & battery & 7 years roadside assistance. Vehicle service is every 40,000 km. My insurance is cheaper than my ICE car was plus my ICE car was costing me $250+ a month in fuel my EV costs me $50. (I charge at home) Great car and can be a lot of fun to drive.
Did you mean to say that one pedal driving setting once enabled is not remembered the next time you start the car? So each time you start the car you need to enable one pedal driving?
I’m on R46 but I don’t think it is to do with that. It was added as part of a model refresh in 2023 which included new 18” aero covers, a rear centre headrest, rear wiper, one pedal driving and body coloured roof on the Trophy spec.
which battery does your car have? if you drive litle faster, is regenerative braking ok or do you need to use regular brakes? i compared tesla awd and rwd, first one was perfect, but rwd regenerative braking was good only for gentle driving.
How do, how secure is the air vent phone holder & what make is it? Looks like it's away from the control buttons beneath screen, great video, will definitely try out the 1 pedal mode
