By the way, the script Deborah originally accepted for Beloved Infidel detailed Graham's early life. She was disappointed that Peck had it re-written to focus more on him, excising what had initially attracted Deborah to the role.
Led her to "breathless fulfillment".... Well if that's not the most flowery euphemism ever for the big O! Meanwhile, the overacting looks pretty ridiculous. That's pretty much on par for Peck, but unusual for Kerr.
Well, as a writer who tends to romanticize great writers past and present, I can certainly understand the “breathless fulfillment” part with Scott Fitzgerald. Multiple “O”s, lol.
