Yeah, most videos on TH-cam now I skip to about the 1-2 minute mark to get past the intro babble, intro sequence, and talk about lord and saviour Square Space. I know with Casey he gets right to the point and ALWAYS has the best info for Resolve anywhere on the Toobs.
I love your intro! Sure beats the 30 second intros that nobody cares about anyway. I'm here for the content and this is the best Resolve channel on the TH-cams.

Your intro is great! I agree with keeping things subtle and simple. It's easy to go too far and make your intros look desperate for attention. Short and subtle works for me 👍

This is AWESOME! You alone have opened the doors to DaVinic for me to discover! What about the step before this? Like, how do I make a Logo? What is safe to use if I can't make one? Do you have a video out already, about how to make/obtain a Logo be imported for adding effects to it like this? :)

Casey, love the videos and great content but I have to agree that I'm not a fan of the intro. I like the theory but not the execution. It's the grey brick wall that really gives it a prison vibe which is exacerbated by the font. The blue frame is nice and gives it a camera element but the white ellipses could be circles instead to match emulating lenses instead. Lastly, the description is very wordy; if simplicity is the objective, "Video Production Tutorials" would suffice. I not entirely opposed to the "...and Stuff" part since it sets the casual tone but just some feedback. Nonetheless, keep it up!
It looks like 17 has a lot of cool new stuff, the glitch effect, the render in place option, wow. But I'm not touching it until it's out of beta. :) Love your videos. Your intro is perfect and you make me laugh. Ignore the haters.
Many people actually don't like the overhyped intros, throwing random B rolls for them selves driving or eating and call it an intro isn't that cool.. Keep it UP bro
MAN! at least your PC/laptop plays that thing. Mine gets stuck like hell. I mean, what can I expect in 8GB of RAM. But it's fine. Adding text and a bit of effects is all I need..
