hi! i’ve gotten a few questions on these since i started my channel so i finally decided to make a ‘how i edit my youtube video’ video tutorial! in this, i have discussed what video editing software i’ve used, my editing process, how to make an aesthetic intro, and how i do my effects, transitions, pastel color grading, as well as where i get my fonts & music!

editing a video about editing,,,, 😵💫 you're too good! what's your favourite editing software after using so many?
literally ME HAHA (probably the hardest video ive edited yet 😵💫) honestlyyy tho it really depends! i have yet to try using adobe premiere again ik a lot of ppl use it and industries favour it more (but paying subscription is always what throws me off lol)
right now im happy with final cut pro and more recently i can see ppl try using filmora too! it has pretty mch same capabilities but has more built in effects and stuff already! i think both of these are pretty nice and work well on mac too

Love this! Will definitely be using some of these tips to play around and practice with video making. Since you film on a phone do your videos connect to a Mac or do you have a different upload process to your computer? I use my phone but don’t have a MacBook so I haven’t been able to edit videos on a computer 🙃
i just airdrop them since i have a macbook :) but i’m sure you can do it via cable

maybe one day haha, it’s a bit hard to do one since i do a different one in each video; so i can only give that advice in this video :)
Why does mine keep saying I have to pay?? In able to get it without water mark!?? HELP!
you need to upgrade to premium to get without watermark, but you can access features for free but just have to deal with watermarks :) hope that helps
i would suggest looking at the pricing on their website! they offer an annual plan (which is subscription based but lets you stay updated for future ver) OR a perpetual plan which is a one up-front payment but it is limited to filmora 11 updates only. i’d suggest giving their free trial a go and see if you like it, then see which plan works best for you!
What are your iPhone camera settings for film ?
just the highest settings it will allow me (4k at 60 fps)

nope, before i had an ipad i literally did it using jst my trackpad on photoshop 🫡
@@loveactionalyssa on god it’s so hard to write neatly on a trackpad for me, but tysm! is it possible to do photopea/photoshop on an ipad and then export the text onto whichever device i’m editing the full video on???

@@loveactionalyssa Try to use the microphone correctly and you will see that you will have much better audio. In the instructions you will find out how to place it and which polar pattern to use to get a better sound. 🙂
