  • "We're offering what most people actually want - affordable housing, a safe place to raise a family, secure borders and an end to mass immigration."
William Clouston discusses the SDP's general election campaign with Mark Dolan and guests on GB News.
From boosting industry and re-nationalising natural monopolies, to re-invigorating state housebuilding and setting up a National Care Service, William outlines how the SDP's key policies would be paid for and delivered.
The SDP is a patriotic, economically left-leaning, and culturally traditional political party.

Excellent from Mr Clouston. Vote SDP on the 4th of July. Highly recommended.

William Clouston is by far the most decent and honest of the party leaders. He talks common sense too. Well done GB news for allowing a party leader to put forward the party’s views.

William CLOUSTON brilliantly explains the sensible politics of the SDP. “Vote for what you believe in” is absolutely right, for if you continue to vote for the tired duopoly nothing will change.

I wish they were standing in my constituency, really want to vote for the SDP so bad.

I don't think the SDP will be fielding a candidate in the constituency I'm eligible to vote in, but if they do they'll be getting my X.

Love William. Wish the SDP had more resources. Grassroots, Local Councils is where Reform UK fails massively.

Councils should be abolished apart from pocketing money and lying and the rest what have they done to help people. Why doesnt anyone ever mention single or elderly in dump rooms with criminal cotenants and llords? Why cant they rebuild derelict pubs and houses and mske them into studios or 500gbp inc all bills.. a realistic rent to get people back on their feet. If they got bavk all money tories have stolen they ld have plenty of gbp. People then would live better and less mental health anguish leading to worst physical health and likely to work... rather than suicide.😢😢

William is brilliant, so refreshing. Speaks from the heart and has principles. I would love to see him in a debate with robot Sunak and flipflop Starmer.

Well spoken as always. Patient as always. If the SDP are able to get an election broadcast out there, then its game on.

A significant problem for the SDP and other small parties is that we don't (yet) have PR. I would happily vote SDP, but unfortunately, I can not as they don't have a candidate standing in my constituency.

A significant problem for the SDP is lack of knowledge about them. I was only relatively recently aware they even existed. But it occurs to me loads of people would support them or at least be in agreement with their views, if they knew about them.

SDP has the best policies and I trust William Cluston. I wish they had more exposure, I think most people in the country actually share their values and would like their manifesto.
Why aren't more people loving them? 😭

Why doesn't the SDP merge with Reform or have a pact not to stand against each other? It's ridiculous to have small parties which divide the patriotic vote and get a hundred votes, while the uniparty gets tens of thousands.

What I love is that he actually spoke about things the government and other parties like Labour, do not talk about, about how the conservatives have sold off loads of our industry, and are now privately owned. He also literally just said that he speaks the truth because they don't get 'funded' by private parties, a traditional left wing party, with a few right-wing policies, a perfect mixture, a perfect party. They'd have my vote, granted there would other things I would focus on, like tackling tax dodges for private schools and big multi-national companies (which he claims he will do) and end austerity, and increase public spending in some areas that desperately need it, oh and definitely focus on reforming education.
