Excellent introduction! With all the documentation out there, I was getting lost as to what exactly Pacemaker did! Now it's much clearer. Thank you Robert. Will you do a follow up? I would like to see how you actually configure the Virtual IP and setting up Quorums too. Thanks again. Carlos
I just start pacemaker and corosync, In this tutorial is started from already configure, could you please show me step by step how to install and configure pacemaker and corosync? because i cannot see other node when i type the command "crm status"
Hey, You would need a modified ocf resource script to be able to cluster pacemaker, there's one available on the web but needs some work. As soon I can find some time I'll try to post one demostrating opensips.
Can you please show the configuration step by step? Because in video all things are already configured. If you can then it will be very helpful for all.
Real linux cluster? Pacemaker/openais is great for building linux cluster. This is default in HA extension for SLES. It took me a bit of time to figure out steps for myself and I wrote my summary here: geekswing.com/geek/building-a-two-node-sles11-sp2-linux-cluster-on-vmware/ Documentation from the source here: www.suse.com/documentation/sle_ha/singlehtml/book_sleha/book_sleha.html clusterlabs.org/quickstart-suse.html I built both SLES and Redhat/Centos clusters last year and I like SLES (a.k.a pacemaker/openais) much better.
Short, clear and understandable - very clear, very good!
Great job on the tutorial, I will be trying Pacemaker on my test cluster soon, thank you for sharing.
Hey Carlos, It's a little hectic right now, but I'll try to have a follow up some time next week.
Nice... I like all your videos.. Keep doing this man, very helpfull...
Thanks From DR.
