- Hi guys, in this segment I break down a topic I’m extremely passionate about, which is the adultification of Black girls. For so long, we have been called “fast”, “grown”, or “loose” and I’ve hated those words for as long as I could remember. 😪These labels are unfairly slapped on us when really we should be holding our elders accountable for calling us that in the first place! But also the predators who view/treat us as such! I want to debunk the “fast Black girl” myth starting with the history/origins of it. Next, I’ll break down my personal experiences with it and how we can rectify this behavior/stereotype moving forward. Please exercise grace/kindness as you watch! 🤎 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe.

Love you guys, thanks for watching!!! 🤎
This is a very heavey topic in the BC. And with the Na'Zyiah case it's being brought to the front of the world how black girls are sacrified and treated when SA'd. at 8 and older black girls are called fast when SA happens to them. The trauma and weight put on little girls to be responsible for the actions of older boys and men against them breaks little black girls minds but it's Ignored
@@kayshawnsimmons5585 Yes it is! I am not familiar with her case but will look it up when I get home. I hate that we are demonized for something out of our control. We need to point the finger at the perpetrator instead of the victim. Completely agree! You took the words right out of my mouth. I plan to tackle this topic for a research project in my honors class. I hope I do it justice. 🙏🏾
@AmberUnfilteredShow I know your paper is going to be well done. Please keep me posted on how it turns out
@ Yes ma’am! I love paying homage to those who came before us in my schoolwork! Will do! 🤍
