To think that King Francois I built this masterpiece of a chateau to use as a mere hunting lodge. When he died no French king ever visited again for the long term to hunt in these regions, as the French kings after Francois I liked sticking around the forests near Paris. So this huge, spectacular building was built to service one king for, like, 20 years. And this building was very lightly, if ever, used again...

Comment avez-vous réussit à recevoir une autorisation de vol du domaine? j'aimerai faire voler mon drone au-dessus mais je suis belge :/.

Il faut tout d'abord avoir une autorisation du conservateur du domaine de Chambord, ensuite une autorisation de la prefecture et surtout lever l'interdiction de survol qu'il y a autour du château car c'est une ZRT sur les cartes aéronautiques = interdiction de survol permanent.... bref il faut s'y prendre 3 semaines avant.
