[In principle] -> Time travelers can NEVER change their OWN past (it is simply impossible, to avoid paradoxes); instead they always change the past of other timelines (so their own backstories are always the same, unchanged). This particular story [were Future!Trunks IS different, albeit only slightly], does require an (unseen, unknown, unknowable) "higher level" of pataphysical divergence [something that altered the common origin of both timelines]; perhaps a small change on the constants of the unvierse at the moment of the bigbang [the "start of time itself"].

How about this? what if Cell went to far back in time in a malfuctioned time machine got malfuctioned himself and was found by a Baby Bulma or a kid Bulma basicly and was reprogrammed by her and then he and her teamed up with Kid Goku later who by the way due to the malfuctioning Time machine effecting the time line and going bisark, Goku came to earth with Gineh. The Later Goku and Bulma get togeth instead of him and Chichi. Then the sayins come along and Gineh helps reform Raditz and then when Nappa and Vegeta show up and Vegeta betrays Nappa, then Nappa becomes a good guy and then funny enough get's together with Chichi. I know that doesn't sound likley but I think it would be enteresting if actualy were to work out. After all in the Nappa turned good timeline Nappa became a member of the family , was like an uncle who butted heads with Chichi but they got along ,so it would be enteresting if Nappa and Chichi actualy was a thing. Maybe they could have a kid? Pluss Nappa would be great with helping Chichi out with her garden buisness. And
What If Bulma Got Her Wish and this got Vegeta , but here is the catch, he doesn't have a scouter making him effectively stranded for at least a year on Earth because the technology is too low brow to reach the Frieza Force. What would really spice the What If is that sees Goku's tail grow back at the tournament proving that Goku is a another saiyan.

I'm actually really happy to see this retcon come to life! Considering how popular Raditz and Ranch are to this channel and the DBZ fan fiction fandom, this retcon was a long time coming. Ranch needs to be a part of both Future Trunks arcs. Way to go Masako! (It'll be interesting to see how you handle Future Mai now that you are making Ranch a part of the future time line. At one end of the spectrum, Future Mai was one of the best things to come out of Super. But on the other end, she has no real need to be in Trunks's heart in this fan fiction. Trunks and Ranch are already showing their true feelings for one an other by the time this episode ended. So I guess there can be some love triangle, but I think it would be just shoehorned in there to add drama. If anything, I'd have Mai as a major part of the story, but as the Resistance leader. She should be in charge and giving everyone their orders. However, when it come to Ranch and Trunks by the time the Black arc begins, they should not only be in a serious relationship, but either have a child/ be expecting one/ or at least want to start one once Black is handled. But that's just me. This is Masako's fan fiction. What he does to his story is cool with me!)
yeah it would be cool to see some actual character development in super. having trunks in a relationship right when he joins the super storyline would be pretty sweet. seems to me only that vegeta is the only one that got any development during supers run. maybe that should be extended to his son too?

I had some mixed feelings in regards to a retcon like this, but the execution was great. I do hope you continue with this retcon, perhaps redoing the parts that involved the Android/Cell Saga and later Goku Black arc, so as to essentially replace the older videos that don't cooperate with this AMAZING retcon. I mean, as smart and clever as Ranch is, I really doubt she's gonna not be caught by the others in the past. It'd be an amazing scene to see Goku be floored by the fact that not just did Vegeta and Bulma get together, but Launch and his own big brother; Raditz. Also this has got to make waves in the Goku Black arc in regards to AT LEAST Present Ranch and Trunks's relationship. I mean there was a pretty clear time gap for Future Trunks in DBS since he had time to reach and master SSJ2, deal with this Babadi issue and deal with Goku Black for a while. For this What If, during that prior Goku Black's appearance, that time gap could be enough to advance Future Trunks and Ranch's relationship to the point that perhaps they are married and possibly have a child.
it could also play around with a possible love triangle scenario with Mai if, at that point, Trunks and Ranch did not fully get together. though that may detract from the severity that is Goku Black. You're more than likely correct though.
So differences I can see happening in the new timeline: King Cold And Freeza taken out simultaneously. Trunks and Ranch being hit on by their mother and father respectively (TFS) Trunks, Ranch, Vegeta and Raditz (SSJ) vs 17 and 18 but since Trunks got beat in about 2 punches ranch being there won’t make much of a difference. A joke about Ranch and Trunks not knowing their fathers tried to kill the Z fighters at one point would be even better if Goku and Raditz casually mention how Raditz kidnapped gohan and led to Goku first death. Raditz and Ranch go into the time chamber. (Sorry piccolo fans) Ranch being smart actually gives Goku a senzu before cell takes them. Allowing the Z fighters to get an edge on the cell jrs. Cell kills Trunks or Ranch causing them and the others respective father to go berserk HOWEVER when Cell is about to kill one of them the other gets them out of there instead of Gohan allowing for him and cell to have a proper battle before the Kamehameha clash.
I could see more that in the ensuing "celebration" before Cell Reappears Trunks and Ranch embrace briefly but separate immediately out of embarrassment (Vegeta and Raditz give each other stone glares). Cell fires a Death Beam and collaterals both Trunks and Ranch since the two are in a line after that moment. Cell calls out he is elated to get a two-for-one. both fathers proceed to beserk.
15:06 oh ho ho ho, Vegeta is going to be so PISSED when he finds out about the kissing once he realizes Trunks is HIS son from the future... and is courting the daughter of a low class Saiyan like Radtiz. He gets pissed off enough about it in R&R, bit learning his future son is already pretty much a thing with future Raunch? He's going to go ballistic. I love it 😆😁
Here are a few of the things I would change in it. - a two seated time machine. Having both Trunks and Ranch come back is something i've seen done really well in a versions of this story I have seen. - Because of this, instead of Vegeta going for a second round in the time chamber alone, Trunks (who already trained in there with Vegeta once) goes in a second time with Ranch, as its not like he'll be able to use it again anyway), and they achieve grade 4 super saiyan. This also kicks off their relationship in the future Now, if you think you may have seen this before, this is where it gets different - After Goku's sacrifice in the Cell games, they go to hug each other, irking both Raditz and Vegeta. Annoyance turns to shock, however, as a death beam from Cell kills them both, followed by a line like "You know, I've been told that dying in the arms of your loved ones is not a bad way to go (probably by one of my victims, I can't remember which). Its a shame the rest of you won't get that luxury." Vegeta rushes off and gets his ass kicked, but all Raditz can do is stare in horror. - The beam struggle between Gohan and Cell goes as normal, until Gohan starts to get pushed back and a distraction is needed. Raditz shoots Vegeta a glare of determination, and Vegeta, despite being Raditz's hated enemy, gives it right back, leading to the Final Friday that ends up distracting Cell. - When they return to the lookout to wish back all those killed by Cell, Trunks and Ranch immediately kiss. Raditz smirks at Vegeta, but is surprised to see him smirk right back. - Future interactions between Raditz and Vegeta are far less hateful. There is still resentment there but its less intense than it was in the what-if, and Vegeta settles down only a bit less than in canon. - Oh, and future androids and Cell get curbstomped even harder
Luke You’d have two relationship arcs, with teen Raunch wanting to spend time with her family like Trunks with Vegeta. I also wonder weather Raditz would still go into the Hybebola LionTamer with Piccolo if he could do it with future Raunch. Piccolo might be phased out of this saga and series again.

Can't wait to see how Future Ranch will help stop 17 & 18 and Cell, and who she'll go into the time chamber with (will she join Piccolo and Raditz, train with Future Trunks after he and Vegeta are done, train with Goku and Gohan, etc.?) The possibilities are nearly endless now, though I now fear who Cell will strike down after his resurgence following his failed kamikaze attempt

So the first split in this time line which is SAIYAN TIMELINE R for the what if raditz turned good, this is the second split in the timeline so what if raditz turned good episode 3B cause it’s the second timeline, I think you could make an entire what if based on this episode, let’s say they go back in time but its to the same time but a different what if, like what if Nappa turned good. #WhatIfFutureRanchStoryline!

Honestly, this is among my favorite things you have ever done MasakoX. As an aspiring writer I love asking the what if and the might have beens, and this is probably one of the best DBZ What Ifs ever, not just on this channel but in general. I'm also really looking forward to more R&R. Now, a few new What Ifs so you don't run out any time soon: -What if the Human Z-Fighters Upgraded to Androids/Cyborgs before the Android/Cell Arc? -What if Doctor Gero convinced the World Government the Z-Fighters were a potential threat and got their help with his Androids? Basically Gero trying to Order 66 the Z-Fighters eventually. -What if Cooler arrived on Earth just before the Cell Games, and seeing the threat Cell posed to the universe, allied with the Z-Fighters? -What if Master Roshi wished to be deaged so he could be back in his prime at the start of Z? -What if the Ox King died and ChiChi had to become Queen of their country? -What if Earth joined the Galactic Federation after the Saiyan Attack? -What if the Ox King was elected King of Earth? -What if Tarbles and Kakarrot had landed on Earth together? -What if humanity found Kami's ship early, reverse-engineered it, and had a small interstellar empire by the time of Dragonball Z? -What if Tien married Launch? -What if all of the Z-Fighters helped Great Saiyaman as superheroes? Or villains?
hello love the work you have done with the What Ifs. one of the things I hate about Dragonball z is they kill of to many characters which we never get to explore. Raditz Nappa android 16 Ginyu squad and so on. my what if is a greedy one I would like to see a merger (or fusion) of some of your what ifs. the what if Nappa Raditz and Cell turned good. I would like to see you combine them. I believe it to be possible. for me it would be a cut copy and paste with the storys

@@theboss181000 fair point, but I think that as a child she was more prone to grief then the fury required to achieve Super Saiyan. Remember, Gohan didn't go Super Saiyan when he saw Piccolo die in the Saiyan saga. And, I do believe that Gohan and Piccolo had built up a strong enough bond to warrant that furry.
Is there any confirmation that Ranch in this universe is in the six digit power levels? She may simply not be strong enough, like when Gohan didn't go SSJ.

I've always watched your what ifs, Masakox, though I don't really give many comments. Sorry about that. This retcon gave me an idea: why don't you make a what-if about the existence of Future Goten? You always rightfully say Goten is wasted as a character which I agree. And in your other what-ifs you do like to give him a spotlight. So why don't you make a scenario where Goten exists in the Future and travels back in time along with Trunks? That aside, this ret-con is appealing. I think Future Raunch would make a great addition on the Future Trunks arc of super, much better than Mai. What If Raditz Turned Good is my favorite, though the only regrettable thing is that Vegeta doesn't evolve as much as a person.
Does this make a major difference in the timeline?......... OFCOURSE! I think it would be very difficult for Trunks to convince Ranch to comeback with him the first time. I think what would happen is that she's going to stay in the past to be with her family unless otherwise. Base on this scenario the last thing she wants is to be back to doomsday land.

[Tecnically Speaking] It was a "trans_temporal" head (chronologically transcendental fellatio). -> The time machine is barely able to float & move on an atmosphere (it can not even reach SPACE by itself); despite the fact that it is hermetically sealed.
What if Vegeta went to earth with Goku? What if Piccolo fused with super Guru before he died on earth? What if Trunks and adult Mai stayed in U7 following the Goku black arc? What if Krillin wished to become a Sayain following the Frieza arc
1. Vegeta doesn't really have a reason to go with Goku, but I guess if he did, Earth would be destroyed way earlier. 2. I guess Piccolo would be more powerful, but Vegeta would wish for immortality and kill everyone on Namek. 3. Time paradox, I think. 4. Krillin will have to adapt to Saiyan energy, which is risky because it's a different kind of inner body strength. Once he does, he might also develop their instinct to fight, but also be exposed to full moon waves due to his tail, with no self-control over his great ape form. Basically he'll still be the weakest Saiyan due to lack of experience, and the androids will kill him.
A lot of us want to see the Trunks and adult Mai one, but it doesn't look like we'll be getting that one anytime soon. My brother and I are planning to cover it once we get around to watching the rest of Super past the beginning of the Black Arc.
This could be more funny too if Future Ranch goes back into the normal canon past. Where Launch never married, Raditz is barely a foot note and she never existed...
Justa Guy I see this being a tragedy for her. She’s just more reclusive while still helping them out. There’s no reason to hide who she is, she could just say she’s Ranch, and get on with it. Goku sees something up throughout any interaction with her, and is curious. When he sees her super Saiyan form, he gets a bit of Deja vu...think she looks like Blonde Launch. Somehow along the way, he finds a way to pruny or trick her into revealing her dad, or maybe overhears her trying to focus herself. By the end with the remaining wish, Goku says to revive Raditz. Shocking everyone and giving Gohan PTSD flashbacks. Dunno from there. I have Chicken to eat, so sayonara.

The ending has come of the Cell Saga, and if timelines could fade as it’s one continuous thing, with Ranch proving to be a glitch and not real, her future self there in front of everyone as the scene with Shenron continues becomes more and more transparent. Goku gave it some thought on who her parents are suppose to be and realises as she sits down against a wall of the lookout, looking down without the ribbon in her hair that he was right on her appearing like Raditz. He instant transmissions down to earth, standing before her. Ranch looks up to see her not-uncle gazing at her with a solemn look, whispering at first then just speaks naturally that it all makes sense now. He looks at Ranch with recognition and nods, saying he promises to get “him” back for her. Everyone’s confused at what Goku is talking about, except for Ranch, who gives a small smile and thanks him, before fading away. Then Goku turns back, after a few seconds, and with the last wish there, and he said he didn’t want to be revived yet, he calls out to Shenron to revive the Saiyan Warrior, Raditz. (I know the fading wouldn’t happen.but imagine. It tears me up inside just as much as 16s death did.
@@Xylospring Time lines being wiped would be a pretty dramatic thing to happen for sure. Real Back to the future vibe. Better if Ranch went ahead with it knowing what would happen. By preventing her future from happening she ceases to exist, but in return all her loved ones don't die.
MasakoX, here are some questions/ideas for future videos: 1. What if the Tuffles won the war? 2. What if Bardock and the Saiyans defeated Frieza? 3. What if Pilaf turned good? 4. What if Vegeta married Chi-chi? 5. What if Future Gohan survived the Android attack? 6. What if Zeno got replaced as a ruler? 7. Finally...what if...the other previously erased universes were restored U 13-19?
Please continue this one through the remainder of the what if series, I want to see how much this could change what if raditz turned good, I would like to see future ranch and present ranch interact and have them interact with the 2 versions of trunks, maybe they could all go in the hyperbolic Time chamber together and that would increase productivity to their training

I love DB, I grew up on it, I also really like action shows, but I do enjoy my dose of romantic (comedy) anime as well, and it’s nice to see some romance in DB, it’s an aspect not really shown in the series, and I feel like that’s a shame, but I understand why though too, and I like it the way it is now too.

I absolutely love this. I can't wait to see more of future Ranch interacting with people. I would LOVE to see a full retcon of part 3 with future Ranch participating.
I think Multiverse Theory was only used in the anime to prevent time travel from actually solving Trunks problems. All the possible timelines still had a direct relationship with each other. The Universe where Goku survives the heart virus exist because Trunks Time Traveled back, then the universe where Cell throws a wrench in the past exist because the Goku survives timeline played out once with Trunks coming back and killing the Androids forcing Cell to look for other means to be perfect. Then the final version of that timeline exist because Trunks knew it was coming and was ready for Cells surprise attack when he returned. Theres a multiverse their but they have a direct cause and effect relationship to one another. I think if the what if changes history pre android saga then the future trunks timeline should reflect it. Universes that dont have cause and effect relationships with each other in Dragon Ball have their own gods of destruction and supreme Kias and only 12 of them exist in a symbolic balance of pairs of some kind.

Yeah! I was really hoping for this. This story is fun. Personally, I like to imagine future Ranch being the sentimental type. Keeping things like Raditz' armband and/or Gohun's wristband. I don't mind her having her tail, but it seems in this situation it would be more of a liability for everyone if she were to keep it.
Ranch really has the best chance of being able to beat the androids right now and maybe cell she has a tail so if she just learned to use the ozaru form she would have more then enough to kill both the androids

@@potatoheadpokemario1931 The original reasoning for the _"Future Trunks is always the same"_ rule, is that the "explanation" as to why each new "What if" timeline is different in the first place is caused by OTHER previous changes [be it random quantum fluctuations or an unseen (yet) extra time_traveler], amplified by the butterfly effect.
[In principle] -> Time travelers can NEVER change their OWN past (it is simply impossible, to avoid paradoxes); instead they always change the past of other timelines (so their own backstories are always the same, unchanged).
This particular story [were Future!Trunks IS different, albeit only slightly], does require an (unseen, unknown, unknowable) "higher level" of pataphysical divergence [something that altered the common origin of both timelines]; perhaps a small change on the constants of the unvierse at the moment of the bigbang [the "start of time itself"].
The whole Radditz and Ranch fan Canon is easily one of my favorite AUs of all time. Radditz was a really missed opportunity on Toriyama's part.

what if Cell went to far back in time in a malfuctioned time machine got malfuctioned himself and was found by a Baby Bulma or a kid Bulma basicly and was reprogrammed by her and then he and her teamed up with Kid Goku later who by the way due to the malfuctioning Time machine effecting the time line and going bisark, Goku came to earth with Gineh. The Later Goku and Bulma get togeth instead of him and Chichi. Then the sayins come along and Gineh helps reform Raditz and then when Nappa and Vegeta show up and Vegeta betrays Nappa, then Nappa becomes a good guy and then funny enough get's together with Chichi. I know that doesn't sound likley but I think it would be enteresting if actualy were to work out. After all in the Nappa turned good timeline Nappa became a member of the family , was like an uncle who butted heads with Chichi but they got along ,so it would be enteresting if Nappa and Chichi actualy was a thing. Maybe they could have a kid? Pluss Nappa would be great with helping Chichi out with her garden buisness. And

What If Bulma Got Her Wish and this got Vegeta , but here is the catch, he doesn't have a scouter making him effectively stranded for at least a year on Earth because the technology is too low brow to reach the Frieza Force. What would really spice the What If is that sees Goku's tail grow back at the tournament proving that Goku is a another saiyan.
Well Vegeta is either a.) Going to slaughter everyone, or b.) He spares them for a year due to Dragon Balls.
@@fireflygaming8764 Likely B, but between Vegeta seemingly like he has gone awol on Frieza and seeing Goku turning out to being a Saiyan would make Vegeta stick around, likely manipulating the Red Ribbon Army as a means to 'train' Goku into becoming his ideal Saiyan, but as an impressionistic Teenager in Dragon Ball, he is just as subjective to the Earthlings' influence as they are to his.
I'm actually really happy to see this retcon come to life! Considering how popular Raditz and Ranch are to this channel and the DBZ fan fiction fandom, this retcon was a long time coming. Ranch needs to be a part of both Future Trunks arcs. Way to go Masako! (It'll be interesting to see how you handle Future Mai now that you are making Ranch a part of the future time line. At one end of the spectrum, Future Mai was one of the best things to come out of Super. But on the other end, she has no real need to be in Trunks's heart in this fan fiction. Trunks and Ranch are already showing their true feelings for one an other by the time this episode ended. So I guess there can be some love triangle, but I think it would be just shoehorned in there to add drama. If anything, I'd have Mai as a major part of the story, but as the Resistance leader. She should be in charge and giving everyone their orders. However, when it come to Ranch and Trunks by the time the Black arc begins, they should not only be in a serious relationship, but either have a child/ be expecting one/ or at least want to start one once Black is handled. But that's just me. This is Masako's fan fiction. What he does to his story is cool with me!)
yeah it would be cool to see some actual character development in super. having trunks in a relationship right when he joins the super storyline would be pretty sweet. seems to me only that vegeta is the only one that got any development during supers run. maybe that should be extended to his son too?

I had some mixed feelings in regards to a retcon like this, but the execution was great. I do hope you continue with this retcon, perhaps redoing the parts that involved the Android/Cell Saga and later Goku Black arc, so as to essentially replace the older videos that don't cooperate with this AMAZING retcon.
I mean, as smart and clever as Ranch is, I really doubt she's gonna not be caught by the others in the past. It'd be an amazing scene to see Goku be floored by the fact that not just did Vegeta and Bulma get together, but Launch and his own big brother; Raditz.
Also this has got to make waves in the Goku Black arc in regards to AT LEAST Present Ranch and Trunks's relationship. I mean there was a pretty clear time gap for Future Trunks in DBS since he had time to reach and master SSJ2, deal with this Babadi issue and deal with Goku Black for a while. For this What If, during that prior Goku Black's appearance, that time gap could be enough to advance Future Trunks and Ranch's relationship to the point that perhaps they are married and possibly have a child.
Hopefully they have children.

So differences I can see happening in the new timeline:
King Cold And Freeza taken out simultaneously.
Trunks and Ranch being hit on by their mother and father respectively (TFS)
Trunks, Ranch, Vegeta and Raditz (SSJ) vs 17 and 18 but since Trunks got beat in about 2 punches ranch being there won’t make much of a difference.
A joke about Ranch and Trunks not knowing their fathers tried to kill the Z fighters at one point would be even better if Goku and Raditz casually mention how Raditz kidnapped gohan and led to Goku first death.
Raditz and Ranch go into the time chamber. (Sorry piccolo fans)
Ranch being smart actually gives Goku a senzu before cell takes them. Allowing the Z fighters to get an edge on the cell jrs.
Cell kills Trunks or Ranch causing them and the others respective father to go berserk HOWEVER when Cell is about to kill one of them the other gets them out of there instead of Gohan allowing for him and cell to have a proper battle before the Kamehameha clash.
World Of Versus I feel like Future Raunch and Future Trunks would’ve gone into the chamber together after their sessions with their fathers

I could see more that in the ensuing "celebration" before Cell Reappears Trunks and Ranch embrace briefly but separate immediately out of embarrassment (Vegeta and Raditz give each other stone glares). Cell fires a Death Beam and collaterals both Trunks and Ranch since the two are in a line after that moment. Cell calls out he is elated to get a two-for-one.

Have fun playing around with your what ifs! Mixing stuff around is what makes them special.
Here are a few of the things I would change in it.
- a two seated time machine. Having both Trunks and Ranch come back is something i've seen done really well in a versions of this story I have seen.
- Because of this, instead of Vegeta going for a second round in the time chamber alone, Trunks (who already trained in there with Vegeta once) goes in a second time with Ranch, as its not like he'll be able to use it again anyway), and they achieve grade 4 super saiyan. This also kicks off their relationship in the future
Now, if you think you may have seen this before, this is where it gets different
- After Goku's sacrifice in the Cell games, they go to hug each other, irking both Raditz and Vegeta. Annoyance turns to shock, however, as a death beam from Cell kills them both, followed by a line like "You know, I've been told that dying in the arms of your loved ones is not a bad way to go (probably by one of my victims, I can't remember which). Its a shame the rest of you won't get that luxury." Vegeta rushes off and gets his ass kicked, but all Raditz can do is stare in horror.
- The beam struggle between Gohan and Cell goes as normal, until Gohan starts to get pushed back and a distraction is needed. Raditz shoots Vegeta a glare of determination, and Vegeta, despite being Raditz's hated enemy, gives it right back, leading to the Final Friday that ends up distracting Cell.
- When they return to the lookout to wish back all those killed by Cell, Trunks and Ranch immediately kiss. Raditz smirks at Vegeta, but is surprised to see him smirk right back.
- Future interactions between Raditz and Vegeta are far less hateful. There is still resentment there but its less intense than it was in the what-if, and Vegeta settles down only a bit less than in canon.
- Oh, and future androids and Cell get curbstomped even harder

I actually think that, with this retcon in particular, it would have MAJOR IMPLICATIONS to the whole What if Raditz canon overall
Luke You’d have two relationship arcs, with teen Raunch wanting to spend time with her family like Trunks with Vegeta. I also wonder weather Raditz would still go into the Hybebola LionTamer with Piccolo if he could do it with future Raunch. Piccolo might be phased out of this saga and series again.

The possibilities are nearly endless now, though I now fear who Cell will strike down after his resurgence following his failed kamikaze attempt

Honestly, this is among my favorite things you have ever done MasakoX. As an aspiring writer I love asking the what if and the might have beens, and this is probably one of the best DBZ What Ifs ever, not just on this channel but in general. I'm also really looking forward to more R&R.
Now, a few new What Ifs so you don't run out any time soon:
-What if the Human Z-Fighters Upgraded to Androids/Cyborgs before the Android/Cell Arc?
-What if Doctor Gero convinced the World Government the Z-Fighters were a potential threat and got their help with his Androids? Basically Gero trying to Order 66 the Z-Fighters eventually.
-What if Cooler arrived on Earth just before the Cell Games, and seeing the threat Cell posed to the universe, allied with the Z-Fighters?
-What if Master Roshi wished to be deaged so he could be back in his prime at the start of Z?
-What if the Ox King died and ChiChi had to become Queen of their country?
-What if Earth joined the Galactic Federation after the Saiyan Attack?
-What if the Ox King was elected King of Earth?
-What if Tarbles and Kakarrot had landed on Earth together?
-What if humanity found Kami's ship early, reverse-engineered it, and had a small interstellar empire by the time of Dragonball Z?
-What if Tien married Launch?
-What if all of the Z-Fighters helped Great Saiyaman as superheroes? Or villains?
hello love the work you have done with the What Ifs. one of the things I hate about Dragonball z is they kill of to many characters which we never get to explore. Raditz Nappa android 16 Ginyu squad and so on. my what if is a greedy one I would like to see a merger (or fusion) of some of your what ifs. the what if Nappa Raditz and Cell turned good. I would like to see you combine them. I believe it to be possible. for me it would be a cut copy and paste with the storys

I think Masako anticipated that, which is why he had her in shock and unable to register the situation until the group had fled.

Remember, Gohan didn't go Super Saiyan when he saw Piccolo die in the Saiyan saga. And, I do believe that Gohan and Piccolo had built up a strong enough bond to warrant that furry.
Is there any confirmation that Ranch in this universe is in the six digit power levels? She may simply not be strong enough, like when Gohan didn't go SSJ.

This retcon gave me an idea: why don't you make a what-if about the existence of Future Goten? You always rightfully say Goten is wasted as a character which I agree. And in your other what-ifs you do like to give him a spotlight. So why don't you make a scenario where Goten exists in the Future and travels back in time along with Trunks?
That aside, this ret-con is appealing. I think Future Raunch would make a great addition on the Future Trunks arc of super, much better than Mai. What If Raditz Turned Good is my favorite, though the only regrettable thing is that Vegeta doesn't evolve as much as a person.

Does this make a major difference in the timeline?......... OFCOURSE! I think it would be very difficult for Trunks to convince Ranch to comeback with him the first time. I think what would happen is that she's going to stay in the past to be with her family unless otherwise. Base on this scenario the last thing she wants is to be back to doomsday land.

What if Vegeta went to earth with Goku?
What if Piccolo fused with super Guru before he died on earth?
What if Trunks and adult Mai stayed in U7 following the Goku black arc?

What if Goten had existed in the future?
1. Vegeta doesn't really have a reason to go with Goku, but I guess if he did, Earth would be destroyed way earlier.
2. I guess Piccolo would be more powerful, but Vegeta would wish for immortality and kill everyone on Namek.
3. Time paradox, I think.
4. Krillin will have to adapt to Saiyan energy, which is risky because it's a different kind of inner body strength. Once he does, he might also develop their instinct to fight, but also be exposed to full moon waves due to his tail, with no self-control over his great ape form.
Basically he'll still be the weakest Saiyan due to lack of experience, and the androids will kill him.
A lot of us want to see the Trunks and adult Mai one, but it doesn't look like we'll be getting that one anytime soon. My brother and I are planning to cover it once we get around to watching the rest of Super past the beginning of the Black Arc.

Justa Guy I see this being a tragedy for her. She’s just more reclusive while still helping them out. There’s no reason to hide who she is, she could just say she’s Ranch, and get on with it.
Goku sees something up throughout any interaction with her, and is curious. When he sees her super Saiyan form, he gets a bit of Deja vu...think she looks like Blonde Launch.
Somehow along the way, he finds a way to pruny or trick her into revealing her dad, or maybe overhears her trying to focus herself.
By the end with the remaining wish, Goku says to revive Raditz. Shocking everyone and giving Gohan PTSD flashbacks.

Heck they didn't even seem to care Frieza got brought back in Super. Plus Remember Raditz died with a power level of about 1k, baby Trunks could beat him by that point of Z.

The ending has come of the Cell Saga, and if timelines could fade as it’s one continuous thing, with Ranch proving to be a glitch and not real, her future self there in front of everyone as the scene with Shenron continues becomes more and more transparent. Goku gave it some thought on who her parents are suppose to be and realises as she sits down against a wall of the lookout, looking down without the ribbon in her hair that he was right on her appearing like Raditz.
He instant transmissions down to earth, standing before her.
Ranch looks up to see her not-uncle gazing at her with a solemn look, whispering at first then just speaks naturally that it all makes sense now. He looks at Ranch with recognition and nods, saying he promises to get “him” back for her.
Everyone’s confused at what Goku is talking about, except for Ranch, who gives a small smile and thanks him, before fading away.
Then Goku turns back, after a few seconds, and with the last wish there, and he said he didn’t want to be revived yet, he calls out to Shenron to revive the Saiyan Warrior, Raditz.
(I know the fading wouldn’t happen.but imagine. It tears me up inside just as much as 16s death did.
@@Xylospring Time lines being wiped would be a pretty dramatic thing to happen for sure. Real Back to the future vibe. Better if Ranch went ahead with it knowing what would happen. By preventing her future from happening she ceases to exist, but in return all her loved ones don't die.

Super cool “what if” Masako. Watching all these what ifs about raditz turning good what I always wanted as a kid. It’s really too bad that toriyama didn’t see potential in raditz like you did.
I love DB, I grew up on it, I also really like action shows, but I do enjoy my dose of romantic (comedy) anime as well, and it’s nice to see some romance in DB, it’s an aspect not really shown in the series, and I feel like that’s a shame, but I understand why though too, and I like it the way it is now too.
Future Trunks and Raunch are going to be the Romeo and Juliet of Dragon Ball since Vegeta and Raditz HATE one another with passion.

I absolutely love this. I can't wait to see more of future Ranch interacting with people. I would LOVE to see a full retcon of part 3 with future Ranch participating.
I think Multiverse Theory was only used in the anime to prevent time travel from actually solving Trunks problems. All the possible timelines still had a direct relationship with each other. The Universe where Goku survives the heart virus exist because Trunks Time Traveled back, then the universe where Cell throws a wrench in the past exist because the Goku survives timeline played out once with Trunks coming back and killing the Androids forcing Cell to look for other means to be perfect. Then the final version of that timeline exist because Trunks knew it was coming and was ready for Cells surprise attack when he returned.
Theres a multiverse their but they have a direct cause and effect relationship to one another. I think if the what if changes history pre android saga then the future trunks timeline should reflect it. Universes that dont have cause and effect relationships with each other in Dragon Ball have their own gods of destruction and supreme Kias and only 12 of them exist in a symbolic balance of pairs of some kind.
It also prevents the Grandfather Paradox.

@@exiegelastweekgamer1571 That's a simple one to answer: Goten wasn't conceived until after Goku and Gohan came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a year after Goku died from the heart virus in Future Trunks's timeline. Therefore, no Future Goten.

Personally, I like to imagine future Ranch being the sentimental type. Keeping things like Raditz' armband and/or Gohun's wristband.
I don't mind her having her tail, but it seems in this situation it would be more of a liability for everyone if she were to keep it.

Ranch really has the best chance of being able to beat the androids right now and maybe cell she has a tail so if she just learned to use the ozaru form she would have more then enough to kill both the androids
