It's nice to see you actually playing the list. The issues with an increase in user numbers and people having no sense of awareness in how they interact with modlist authors has only become more noticeable as the number of users increases. Just remember for every shitty user you likely have 5 or more users who happily play a list without issues and don't really interact with the community because they're busy actually enjoying the game.

yeah this is something I try to stay mindful of, because it is true. But it's also really easy to hyperfixate on the negativity, because it's what sticks with you.

I keep my mic a little low since boosting the volume tends to make my mouse clicks more noticeable. That said I rewatched the video and thought the volume levels were fine (minus some issues of my voice dropping in and out on occassion).
I'll try to tweak it a bit better, it's just like treading ice of trying to find the right mic settings.

I think it's probably worth considering your 'role' when it comes to Apostasy. You are the creator, you are the one updating it. That is your position in this system.
If you spend 2 hours a week on Apostasy then there is no better use of that time than spending it working on the modlist. That is where you can have the most impact.
Imagine you spend 100 hours related to Apostasy in a year, at the end of that year you can either have 100 hours of progress with the modlist, or 100 people helped with troubleshooting.
Which do you think is better for the modlist? Which is better for the community and more importantly, which do you prefer?
I think the answer will always be 100 hours of progress with the modlist, and that does require you to sort of ignore people asking for help.
It's maybe a little cruel, but you can't do everything. So spend your time wisely, and both you and the modlist will be better off for it.
Sorry for the rant but it saddens me to see great members of the community get bogged down by commitments they never signed up for.
Thank you for all the hard work.

@@regarded9702 if I spent 100 hours a year on Apostasy, the list would still be in development(nitpicking the number, I know it isnt the point)
We’re required to provide support for our lists and I dont think it’s fair to offload that entire support burden onto volunteer helpers (esp considering they aren’t experienced enough to handle a lot of crashes).
