Hi, if running continuous tempo doesn't help better than shorter tempo intervals, what's the difference of tempos for marathon and 10k/5k? For example, in the summer I trained for 10k, my double thresholds are like: am 5x6 mins @half marathon power+pm 10x3mins @LT power. This method helped me ran a sub 37mins 10k. I am training for marathon now, and my DT training are like: am 2x15 mins @half marathon power; pm 4x8 mins @lt power. Sometimes do 20mins @half marathon power or 30mins @marathon power as am session. Do those two methods work differently? Shall I go back to my 10k training methods with shorter intervals?
This video is so good. God damn.
I’m guilty of running my threshold sessions a fraction too fast.
This has to be the best video I have ever watched regarding threshold training. So much information that is easily understood and followed. Thank you.
Could you do more hs threshold training info?
spam 4 mile tempos
