Thank you for sharing your age. I am 50 and have had ZERO luck with concealers 😕 I have tried both drug store brands and high end and the dryness is horrible. Maybe I'll give this one a go.

I personally think Believe Beauty Foundation has the prettiest finish. I can’t believe the Hard Candy Long Wear Primer is not as hyped as the Elf primers. The Believe Beauty foundation is my all time favorite foundation! It's one of fhe few affordable foundations that work on my "mature" 56 year old dry skin💗

Ok random makeup observation/discovery this week! I ran out of my L’Oréal TM Hyaluronic Acid Serum foundation while I was getting ready for work Wednesday morning, and all I had on hand was Wet n Wild Photo Focus which was a bit too light, and L’Oréal Infallible 24h Fresh Wear which was a little too dark; mixed the two and dang the result was gorgeous! The sweet ladies at my office were complimenting my complexion a little extra that day lol😂🫶🏻 love you Em, hope you guys had a happy holiday!🍗🍂

Milani blushes in Dolce Pink and Rose de Oro are the ones I see in the drugstore pretty often. I own all of them and love them all honestly! Rose de Oro is a lovely deeper rose tone so sometimes I even pop Luminoso over the top for more of the highlight effect.
A little while back I was hearing about the new Revlon Illuminating foundation. I do find it light and beautiful. I also heard a little bit about the makeup Revolution IRL concealer which I enjoy. But I think one Foundation which is severely under hyped (except on this channel 😊) is the Neutrogena healthy skin foundation! I just took a trip with it and it was so beautiful and natural looking but it lasted all day.
As someone with medium tan/caramel skin, i prefer Berry Amore over Luminoso of the Milani blushes. I can't believe more people don't talk about the Milani 17hr Stay Put Matte Liquid Eyeliner. Best liquid eyeliner, period. Esp combined with Milani's eye primer. It's a hooded eyelid dream team. Also, the NYX lip liner being on the dry side is exactly why i like them. It helps with the staying power. I might need to give that NYX concealer another try.
I recently bought the L’Oréal voluminous because I wanted to tried the burgundy color. Voluminous used to be all I used for years..probably through the entire 90s. I was blown away by how much I like it. Reminded me why I used it for so long.

The L’Oréal Color Riche Les Nus lipsticks are maybe the best feeling, most hydrating, gift for the lips I’ve ever tried, including high end brands that are triple the price. They are all nude shades so they don’t have all that many shades, but it is such a shame that no one ever mentions them.
I do really like the covergirl glowy blushes amazing quality, but I do prefer the miliani "glowy" blushes. I have a medium skintone, and the Covergirl blushes have a more silvery/ cool glow it can look a little like a bruise on my cheek😂, whereas the miliani glowy blushes have a more golden glow. I love the miliani blushes in the shades Berry Amore and Bellissimo Bronze.
I really like that Bare with Me concealer when I wear it with the Becca corrector. It’s such a good combo for my aging under eye skin. I feel like you do, that the concealer on its own needs just a little more for my darkness. It might be okay for someone who doesn’t have a lot of color to correct. But it doesn’t ever look dry, which is what I really like about it.
On your recommendation, I decided to really go in and grab some stuff from Hard Candy at my Walmart and they aren’t even carrying them anymore in store! They made that section the NYX section now. I wish the NYX lip pencils were more pigmented and a little creamier.
I have a bunch of these products, so thank you for pulling them out and reminding me to use them! Also, I have verrrry dry skin, so I do think the e.l.f. Halo Glow liquid filter is well suited to adding a bit more moisture for those of us who need it, and it doesn't emphasize my texture. I don't know how. 🥰 I just recommend being conservative with the amount being applied, because I can see that getting out of control! LOL.
I use so many of these items in my daily routine and not because of the hype but because they are awesome drugstore products! I also use several products the people never talk about just because I try them when they catch my eye in the drugstore.
If you put some of that elf halo glow liquid filter on the back of your hand and use a triangle puff to apply it to your cheekbones, it gives a lovely highlight! I prefer that to putting it all over. 💕

Such a great final look. My hardest trouble is when I go to Walmart the Hard Candy section seems to all be glitter palettes or pressed glitter eye products. 😢 i must venture to a new Walmart and scope out the makeup section.
The elf halo glow is definetly very good, but catrice released a similar product a while back as well. Its my staple on days where I need quick glowy coverage. A true filter. Halo glow is sold out everywhere so Im glad catrice came out with that.

Revlon doesn't get a lot of love these days, especially its Super Lustrous lipsticks, which are fabulous! Beautiful colors, formulas, little or no fragrance, very sophisticated and high-end feel overall. Remember the commercials in the '90's with Shania Twain, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and other models/celebrities? They were wearing Super Lustrous lipsticks and they were "Revolutionary!" I just love how you can be so awake, happy, and positive before the sun is up, first thing in the morning, work all day, and then go to bed at a reasonable hour!! It seems like magic to me. 🥴 I must admit that as a natural born and raised night owl, I am a bit jealous: jealous, but happy for you, at the same time, if that makes any sense. Even during the eight years when I was a Marine and HAD to get up and function at peak performance bright and early every day, the early morning hours were a daily struggle for me. I LOVE the peace and beauty of the predawn hours, but only if I haven't been to bed yet from the night before. Awkward! My mom and one sister were/are both night owls too, but for some reason my older sister and I are BOTH EXTREME NIGHT OWLS! We come alive every evening, becoming wide awake as we putter around the house all night, only becoming fully tired and ready to sleep in the early morning hours. This makes it VERY hard to get myself up and going during the day for appointments and to deal with the rest of humanity. I have tried MANY ways to reset my body clock, with only limited success. I know it takes all kinds of people to make the world work, but I still wish that I had your natural circadian rhythms instead of mine. Dealing with a bad back and chronic pain related to my time in The Marines makes EVERYTHING more difficult, but that's another story: That's where YOU and your positive videos come in! Then I pop one (or 3) of your videos up on my phone to distract myself and help me shift my focus away from the physical pain and negativity that threaten to drag me down and destroy my day. Life is full of daily choices; I choose to TRY TO focus on GOD and the POSITIVE things in life, to improve the way I live with chronic pain, and to improve my level of functioning and quality of life. Still, you get up and greet each day with a can do attitude, a loving heart, and optimistic outlook. Thank you! I've always had issues with concealer looking too heavy or dry and the NYX bare with me finally looks the way I want it to. I had such low expectations and was completely surprised I loved it.
Love that foundation! Discovered it thanks to you too 😊 I don't know if it's reached your side of the world yet but here in the Philippines, Maybelline reformulated the Fit Me M+P! Aerogel is the star ingredient now vs. the original clay. I still have half a bottle of the original formula so I haven't tried the new one yet. If the new version gets to you guys too, hopefully you get to try it before I do because we use the same shade 😆

In my country (The Netherlands) we can't buy Hard Candy or Covergirl unfortunately. We are also way behind with releases from Milani, Wet n Wild and Elf. For instance, we don't have the new Elf lip oils yet. Same with some high end brands. No Sephora here either. Some times its annoying, especially with the nice holiday giftsets. A lot of them are not available, you get all hyped and than you can't get them. On the other hand, the more excited it is when they finally are available, and in the meantime it saves money 😃. And there are way more important things to worry about. Thanks Emily for another nice video!
Id love to see more people trying joah I've recently discovered them and so far what I've tried I really like they have some really great eyeshadow quads I've tried 3 or 4 of the different color stories and they are probably some of the best drugstore eyeshadows I've tried lately and they aren't that expensive

For the Maybelline Lifter Glosses, the color Ice is great if you just need a light or clear-ish lip gloss to go over your favorite of choice lipstick. I agree Moon is a good shade and well loved in my collection. 🙂
I feel like the Moira Loveheat Cream blush deserve way more love ❤ It's so easy to apply with your fingers (I usually like using a brush for cream blush) and the shade 01 I Respect You is a lovely peach with a hint of brown! I have heard that they dupe the Tower 28 blushes, but I haven't tried those myself.

I've been raving about that PF bronzer forever. It's so beautiful and yes, blends with ease. I adore the Luminoso. I've had mine for years and I've used quite a bit of it. I use it over other blushes for a subtle highlight. I adore the L'oreal setting spray in the blue bottle. It's a straight All Nighter dupe. Even smells the same. I still use the All Nighter because it is the best in my opinion. But for a more affordable version, the L'oreal is spot on. I do not like the Elf Halo Glow liquid highlight thing. Its too heavy on me and i already have oily skin. So I'll pass on that one! Great video as always. And last thing, i think the Maybelline Fit Me blush in Mauve is spectacular. So pretty. You make me want to go raid the drugstore or Ulta!

Hard Candy doesn’t seem to be in either of the Walmarts next to me. You make me wish it were! I suppose I could order it though. I love the NYX lip liners, and bummed they are often sold out. Nutmeg and Ever are my top 2. The Lifter glosses surprised me. I bought one because of you, and I’ve since bought two more. They are so hydrating. Not your typical gloss for sure. I can’t use the Elf Halo Glow, my skin doesn’t like it, but I’m going to try the L’Oréal Lumi lotion stuff and see if it works for me. Fun video Em!

The L’Oréal Color Riche Les Nus lipsticks are maybe the best feeling, most hydrating, gift for the lips I’ve ever tried, including high end brands that are triple the price. They are all nude shades so they don’t have all that many shades, but it is such a shame that no one ever mentions them.
I do really like the covergirl glowy blushes amazing quality, but I do prefer the miliani "glowy" blushes. I have a medium skintone, and the Covergirl blushes have a more silvery/ cool glow it can look a little like a bruise on my cheek😂, whereas the miliani glowy blushes have a more golden glow. I love the miliani blushes in the shades Berry Amore and Bellissimo Bronze.
I really like that Bare with Me concealer when I wear it with the Becca corrector. It’s such a good combo for my aging under eye skin. I feel like you do, that the concealer on its own needs just a little more for my darkness. It might be okay for someone who doesn’t have a lot of color to correct. But it doesn’t ever look dry, which is what I really like about it.

On your recommendation, I decided to really go in and grab some stuff from Hard Candy at my Walmart and they aren’t even carrying them anymore in store! They made that section the NYX section now.

I have a bunch of these products, so thank you for pulling them out and reminding me to use them! Also, I have verrrry dry skin, so I do think the e.l.f. Halo Glow liquid filter is well suited to adding a bit more moisture for those of us who need it, and it doesn't emphasize my texture. I don't know how. 🥰 I just recommend being conservative with the amount being applied, because I can see that getting out of control! LOL.

I use so many of these items in my daily routine and not because of the hype but because they are awesome drugstore products! I also use several products the people never talk about just because I try them when they catch my eye in the drugstore.
If you put some of that elf halo glow liquid filter on the back of your hand and use a triangle puff to apply it to your cheekbones, it gives a lovely highlight! I prefer that to putting it all over. 💕

Such a great final look. My hardest trouble is when I go to Walmart the Hard Candy section seems to all be glitter palettes or pressed glitter eye products. 😢 i must venture to a new Walmart and scope out the makeup section.
The elf halo glow is definetly very good, but catrice released a similar product a while back as well. Its my staple on days where I need quick glowy coverage. A true filter. Halo glow is sold out everywhere so Im glad catrice came out with that.

Revlon doesn't get a lot of love these days, especially its Super Lustrous lipsticks, which are fabulous! Beautiful colors, formulas, little or no fragrance, very sophisticated and high-end feel overall. Remember the commercials in the '90's with Shania Twain, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and other models/celebrities? They were wearing Super Lustrous lipsticks and they were "Revolutionary!"

It seems like magic to me. 🥴 I must admit that as a natural born and raised night owl, I am a bit jealous: jealous, but happy for you, at the same time, if that makes any sense.
Even during the eight years when I was a Marine and HAD to get up and function at peak performance bright and early every day, the early morning hours were a daily struggle for me. I LOVE the peace and beauty of the predawn hours, but only if I haven't been to bed yet from the night before. Awkward! My mom and one sister were/are both night owls too, but for some reason my older sister and I are BOTH EXTREME NIGHT OWLS! We come alive every evening, becoming wide awake as we putter around the house all night, only becoming fully tired and ready to sleep in the early morning hours. This makes it VERY hard to get myself up and going during the day for appointments and to deal with the rest of humanity. I have tried MANY ways to reset my body clock, with only limited success. I know it takes all kinds of people to make the world work, but I still wish that I had your natural circadian rhythms instead of mine.
Dealing with a bad back and chronic pain related to my time in The Marines makes EVERYTHING more difficult, but that's another story:

Life is full of daily choices; I choose to TRY TO focus on GOD and the POSITIVE things in life, to improve the way I live with chronic pain, and to improve my level of functioning and quality of life. You teach me, through your actions and attitudes, how to become a better, happier person. I see you do it, so I KNOW that it's possible! You aren't perfect; nobody is. Still, you get up and greet each day with a can do attitude, a loving heart, and optimistic outlook. Thank you!
I often find myself thinking, "Hey, if EMILY thinks that I can become positive and loving, get up, put on some makeup, and then get on with my day, who am I to argue with HER? 😁 Most days I would just settle for getting up and being as productive as possible, one day at a time.
I know that you must have down times, challenges, and frustrating days: everyone does. I have not put you up on a pedestal, believe me! I can say from experience that that is a HORRIBLE place to be. (There is nowhere to go but down, usually to crash and burn!) I have the sense that you have already learned that you don't have to deny your natural, human uncomfortable feelings in life; that you DO NOT (and "should" not) feel that you have to ALWAYS appear to be happy for the benefit of others. That's not healthy, and I have a strong hunch that is not how you operate on a daily basis. I am simply trying to encourage YOU, and to share with you how you encourage ME!

I've always had issues with concealer looking too heavy or dry and the NYX bare with me finally looks the way I want it to. I had such low expectations and was completely surprised I loved it.
NYX Control Freak is my fave drugstore brow gel and Benefit 24 HR Brow Setter is my fave on the prestige side.

Aerogel is the star ingredient now vs. the original clay. I still have half a bottle of the original formula so I haven't tried the new one yet. In my country (The Netherlands) we can't buy Hard Candy or Covergirl unfortunately. We are also way behind with releases from Milani, Wet n Wild and Elf. For instance, we don't have the new Elf lip oils yet. Same with some high end brands. No Sephora here either. Some times its annoying, especially with the nice holiday giftsets. A lot of them are not available, you get all hyped and than you can't get them. On the other hand, the more excited it is when they finally are available, and in the meantime it saves money 😃. And there are way more important things to worry about. Thanks Emily for another nice video!

I feel like the Moira Loveheat Cream blush deserve way more love ❤ It's so easy to apply with your fingers (I usually like using a brush for cream blush) and the shade 01 I Respect You is a lovely peach with a hint of brown! I have heard that they dupe the Tower 28 blushes, but I haven't tried those myself.

I've been raving about that PF bronzer forever. It's so beautiful and yes, blends with ease. I adore the Luminoso. I've had mine for years and I've used quite a bit of it. I use it over other blushes for a subtle highlight. I adore the L'oreal setting spray in the blue bottle. It's a straight All Nighter dupe. Even smells the same. I still use the All Nighter because it is the best in my opinion. But for a more affordable version, the L'oreal is spot on. I do not like the Elf Halo Glow liquid highlight thing. Its too heavy on me and i already have oily skin. So I'll pass on that one! Great video as always. And last thing, i think the Maybelline Fit Me blush in Mauve is spectacular. So pretty. You make me want to go raid the drugstore or Ulta!
I’m surprised that no one talks about Revlon blushes. They are so pretty, there are lots of shades, a huge pan, and they wear all day without disappearing. No one but you and Jen Phelps sings their praises.

Hard Candy doesn’t seem to be in either of the Walmarts next to me. You make me wish it were! I suppose I could order it though. I love the NYX lip liners, and bummed they are often sold out. Nutmeg and Ever are my top 2. The Lifter glosses surprised me. I bought one because of you, and I’ve since bought two more. They are so hydrating. Not your typical gloss for sure. I can’t use the Elf Halo Glow, my skin doesn’t like it, but I’m going to try the L’Oréal Lumi lotion stuff and see if it works for me. Fun video Em!
