The Rimmel pressed powder can be removed from the packaging and placed in a classic mirror compact. It fits perfectly. I use a small piece of double sided tape to secure it. Or a dab of hot glue. I have a collection of old mirror compacts.
I bought a 1970s Stratton compact on Etsy, and it fits the Rimmel pan perfectly! (I live in the US, and ordered it from the UK.) I feel extremely fancy when I use it.

Don’t go below your nose when applying your blush or bronzer. Go more horizontal and less angled. Start your products where your pupils are. I’m telling yall it’s an instant game changer! If what I typed makes no sense at all then google RMS blush and bronzer placement! I think the owner of RMS is Rose Marie? Any who it will change the game on how you think about blush and bronzer placement. Blown away I was. Just wanted to share. Love and peace ❤
After being seriously ill & having 6 operations, requiring 6 intubations (the 1st intubation was aborted as I had a growth in my throat) to an exploratory surgery with the University Hospital that found the problems & fixed them I’m ready to repurchase makeup again. (Meeting with the Dr who said if you can breathe I can intubate you😮. So this video is timely for me! I’m all heathy & back to loving life again! And you are my favorite YT makeup artist even if I haven’t been able to watch your channel consistently. You are so upbeat & down to earth it’s refreshing Emily! Thanks 🙏

Years!) -L’Oréal brow stylist definer in dark brunette -L’Oréal panorama mascara -stila huge lashes -L’Oréal lash paradise -cover girl single eyeshadow in Swiss Chocolate. I used to wear this one eyeshadow every single day. For years. Repurchased dozens of times. -Milani eye primer -I’ve also hit pan on the too faced sweet peach and repurchased before it was discontinued. And same with the too faced chocolate bar. And recently, I’ve hit pan on a couple of shades in the Natasha denona my dream palette and repurchased that palette. That palette has replaced my modern renaissance and sweet peach palettes! And I did repurchase the xenon palette because I have some huge dips in a couple of shades. I wanted another before it was discontinued. I actually use some of the shades in xenon with the shades nurture and aspiration from the my dream palette. That’s why I hit pan on those two shades so fast, lol. I was using it almost everyday! lol! From the my dream palette: Nurture- all over lid and crease. Aspiration- deepen inner and outer corners, blown out, very lightly blended through crease. Then get out the xenon palette. Nightsky: line upper lashline. Snowbow or Swift on center of lid. Ebb: dab on outer and inner corners just a little.

Rimmel Stay Matte is the best powder imo hands down. Always does what it needs without looking like powder on the skin, with a brush, puff or sponge. It’s not drying either. It’s better than any powder I’ve tried and is a work horse.

Hey Emily, have you ever wondered why the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is made in such a flimsy way? Well the answer is because is meant as a temporary case for it! That exact size fits the older refillable compacts! How to get the pan out is , peel back the sticker on the back there is a little hole, then use a a liquid glue dissolver and the pan will come right out!! ( tbh there is very little gluing the pan in and throw away the plastic container because it’s obviously trash eh? ) so thats why the powder packaging is that way and i also do believe that they make a bronzer that size too! So maybe you do have an older fancy compact that needs a refill or your wanting to buy a nice one to carry around in your purse thats what you put in it ! I did come across this information from Erin Parsons on TH-cam btw if your wondering, she dives right into makeup history on her channel if you want to check her out! Oh and i think she said she used a combo of water and alcohol to dissolve the glue to get hers out and has an interesting ( large ) collection if older compacts to see too if your interested! I see alot of people wondering why the stay matte powder compacts are complete trash but not knowing why they are meant for the trash but I thought you might be able to broadcast that out to your viewers that might have older fancy compacts that are looking for a powder refill and thats the standard size and also a great powder for an affordable price too! As a normal consumer of makeup (not an influence) I repurchase a lot of my makeup. Most repurchased of all time for me is Revlon Colourstay foundation. I’ve used it since at least 1995 because I wore it on my wedding day. I still love it, but I must say the Rimmel long lasting foundation is my favourite at the moment.
Omg I accidentally repurchased the Maybelline Crayon on Live on the Edge!! I had tried it and looooved the formula and the color. A few months later, I still used it often but I forgot the name of the shade and just knew I loved the formula. I wanted to treat myself to a new lipstick after grocery shopping and I was like: hmmm this Live on the Edge shade looks like a color I'd like! Didn't even realize it was the exact same shade I already had at home 😂 guess that proves how much that shade speaks to me! Now I have two that I'm not even close to finishing hahaha

I love Laura Gellar baked products, but especially that French Vanilla. It’s a must. The balance and brighten I live but they have not been mixing them as well so you never know what shade you’ll get. It can be a light and be more porcelain or it can be super dark, and that’s for any shade you choose. It’s like a gamble anymore if you can get your correct shade.

Nice thing about Revlon is that they keep their core lipstick line forevahhh! Skin care wise, I've been using Philosophy's Purity facial cleanser since 1999, and now my 20something daughter uses it, too.

I finally got me one of those headbands to wear while I do skincare and makeup! Haven’t used it yet, but looking forward to it. Clips don’t do a great job with my baby fine but thick hair.

I probably have 40 lip liners, but the favorite one that I always have to have in every bathroom, every purse, and at work.... Wet n Wild Coloricon lip liner in the color Chestnut. There was an Essence lip liner that I repurchased a dozen times, only to have it go away forever. It was my perfect your-lips-but-better shade, smooth and long wearing.

Hey Emily, have you ever wondered why the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is made in such a flimsy way? Well the answer is because is meant as a temporary case for it! That exact size fits the older refillable compacts! How to get the pan out is , peel back the sticker on the back there is a little hole, then use a a liquid glue dissolver and the pan will come right out!! ( tbh there is very little gluing the pan in and throw away the plastic container because it’s obviously trash eh? ) so thats why the powder packaging is that way and i also do believe that they make a bronzer that size too! So maybe you do have an older fancy compact that needs a refill or your wanting to buy a nice one to carry around in your purse thats what you put in it ! I did come across this information from Erin Parsons on TH-cam btw if your wondering, she dives right into makeup history on her channel if you want to check her out! Oh and i think she said she used a combo of water and alcohol to dissolve the glue to get hers out and has an interesting ( large ) collection if older compacts to see too if your interested!
I see alot of people wondering why the stay matte powder compacts are complete trash but not knowing why they are meant for the trash but I thought you might be able to broadcast that out to your viewers that might have older fancy compacts that are looking for a powder refill and thats the standard size and also a great powder for an affordable price too!

Thank you for doing a full face and I’m glad it was a different range of products and a lot I was surprised about which I love. It was unpredictable especially the primer.
As a normal consumer of makeup (not an influence) I repurchase a lot of my makeup. Most repurchased of all time for me is Revlon Colourstay foundation. I’ve used it since at least 1995 because I wore it on my wedding day. I still love it, but I must say the Rimmel long lasting foundation is my favourite at the moment.

Omg I accidentally repurchased the Maybelline Crayon on Live on the Edge!! I had tried it and looooved the formula and the color.
A few months later, I still used it often but I forgot the name of the shade and just knew I loved the formula. I wanted to treat myself to a new lipstick after grocery shopping and I was like: hmmm this Live on the Edge shade looks like a color I'd like! Didn't even realize it was the exact same shade I already had at home 😂 guess that proves how much that shade speaks to me! Now I have two that I'm not even close to finishing hahaha

I love Laura Gellar baked products, but especially that French Vanilla. It’s a must. The balance and brighten I live but they have not been mixing them as well so you never know what shade you’ll get. It can be a light and be more porcelain or it can be super dark, and that’s for any shade you choose. It’s like a gamble anymore if you can get your correct shade.
When I think Em and repurchased mascara I still think IT Cosmetics Superhero that’s how long I’ve been around ❤️

Yeah!! We're having a really great, low-key summer so far - how about you? Bub is super excited about his law practice - I got to see the office (in person) for the first time last night and it's so cool!! The kids were attempting to play hide & seek - which was pretty hard with just one table in there :D

Happy Saturday!! I have repurchased Revlon Black Cherry lipstick and Chocolate Cherry lipstick. Cherries in the Snow, too! Nice thing about Revlon is that they keep their core lipstick line forevahhh! Skin care wise, I've been using Philosophy's Purity facial cleanser since 1999, and now my 20something daughter uses it, too.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder... nothing like it :) i use the transparent one. the Maybelline fit me foundation + concealer and also their mascaras. must have them in my collection at all times.
A dupe for Little Primer is Etude House Dr. Mascara fixer. It’s made for Asian lashes and will hold your curl like nothing else. It’s also under $10 too 😊
