Been playing CB for around 2000 hours and it's really hard to change my playstyle. Anyways, amazing gameplay my dude

alot of stuff and changes taken from World + GU. CB playstyle has never differed much with SAED being a staple if you want to run that build. The axe build from iceborne is in Rise as well

Everything with an elemental HZ of 20 is definitely an Elemental SAED match up, unless it has super high raw weakzones and KOs are needed to create openings.

guarding without knockback/chip damage mainly depends on the level of "guard" you have. Charge blade's shield with phial charged gives you the same amount of guard as lance/gunlance, so having a few level of guard is good enough to fully absorb hits
Well, Monsters DO have a lot of HP. Master Rank monsters on average have around 30k HP. The earlier ones around 20k, and the stronger ones around 40k. Post game monsters have easily more than 60-80k.
