First vid from Winter NAMM 2019 and it is the new Fortin Cali amp through the ALSO new Fortin 412 cabs.
Insane amount of tones and coming soon! Using a Solar Singlecut guitar. Cab is mic'd with a Sennheiser e609. Not post processing f*ckery.

That push pull saturation is just glorious. gives it that engl deep high end saturation that's just so smooth! That Blade boost is really nice as well. just puts that tone into the heavens!
Right now the only item from Fortin i own is a 33, but i suspect a Blade will be next. great demo. thanks guys!

@@JeremyVarao I just ordered a blade as well for my rigs just to add some options to use in the studio. I am seriously thinking about getting this amp though ;) Canada seems to be making some amazing high gain amps if you also factor in those Rev amps as well. Do you have a band your in?

LOL! This legit almost made me spit drink out my nose! He was hoarse as hell. NAMM has a way of doing that. Glad I didn't;t end up with the dreaded Namthrax. Most everyone I know ends up coming home sick as a dog. 100K people from all over the world breathing on each other for 5 days.
@@JeremyVarao Ha, yeah, I work in a hospital and what I think about even more is the rubbing of hands really thoroughly with wires then handing them to the next guy and repeat for a full day. That will penetrate some immune-systems for sure! I almost never get sick at work - ethanol for the hands between each patient does the trick - even with a lot of patients and a lot of close contact.

That's about as dark sounding I've heard from EL34's. Sounds like shit from my phone, but I can tell it sounds amazing in person.

Plays as good as it looks! This was my first time playing any of the Solar guitars. I was really pleasantly surprised. I played this guy, the E.1 Jensen Explorer and the S1.6BLB LTD. All of them were killer. Well done to to Ola Englund

This amp has all the gain you'll ever need,yet some dumbass's will still put a boost in front of it.
Tue story. The two dumbasses in this vid use a boost at the end of the vid...

@@cast390 Keep in mind, boosts aren't always for more gain. It tightens up bottom end response and can help your tone cut better in a mix. Not all about the gainz!
@@JeremyVarao I know that, this amp doesn't need a boost it was clearly designed to have a tight bottom end as demonstrated by the thump switch.
I do not know what Mr. Fortin want to achieve, but this thing with limited editions is PURE marketing to increase sales like big commercial brands do. This amp is already unavailable after namm, save yourself from head ache and overpriced hype and buy from other amp builders, there are many brands, even better sounding.
Sounds like a Jose-clone, but even worse, the bottom sounds thin and like shit to me!!
