ETB's for OF have been terrible. Seen a few already posting to Reddit their dreadful hits so far. The booster boxes are always the way to go unless you're after specifics, promos, etc.
As much fun as the chase for a card like moonbreon is… I’m also looking forward to not spending crazy amounts of money to hopefully pull all them zards. Especially that pesky ex lol

He isnt, the pull rates are this high across the board for this set. I’ve opened up 24 booster boxes and have gotten 21 zards total including 5 SAR zards
I’m think I prefer the cards being easy to pull! I like that it is easier and cheaper to complete a set! Makes it more accessible to those of us with less money
I feel like the chances to pull chase cards being higher will make pack openings more fun, definitely will lessen the stress on people's wallets! can't believe you still haven't pulled the regular zard card yet after already getting the other three

tbh I have bad luck with obsidian flames. Once I opened a booster bundle (6 packs) and got 1 hit that wasn't really good. Since I have so much bulk of obsidian flames, though, I'm trying to complete the set
I think it's great that the pull rates are better. I stopped with the hobby as a kid because we just couldn't afford that many packs(birthdays and Christmas only). Now more kids(and adults) can appreciate the hobby. Also Japanese pull rates have always been great, English sets are just catching up now 😁

Bro use any compressor on your voice wave in whatever program you use, then lift the makeup gain a bit for the lower volume parts to sound louder and the loud parts to stay the same. the constant volume spikes can cause trouble following with the ears

I'm assuming the booster boxes are seeded like Paldea Evolved. I opened up one box and literally got all of the worst possible cards of each rarity category. Like Gold artezon, the alt art eiscue ex, ryme full art, vespiquen ex full art...
I am so fine with the pull rates. Honestly, if the chase is like some random secret rare like the charizard from Plasma Storm or the ones from Stormfront or even the Gold Stars, sure that's cool. But if, to own a cool set you have to really waste a lot of money that's not ok to me. If the chase cards are intrensic to the sets identity and it doesn't stand without them then it's just a chore to open. As is, you get a lot of pulls even without getting the biggest chase, there's the art rares which are awesome while not being too crazy and you even have a fair chance at big hits. If you want to add some harder to get cards, ok, but pick them wisely and don't worsen the pulls, especially for the art rares which are meant to be that easier to attain gratification; that's their point.
I love that it is easier to complete with SV. I mean, for most people, it's still impossible to complete a set by opening packs, because you still need 1000$+ to buy enough products for 200-300 packs. But it is going back to the WOTC era where you needed only 2 displays to complete the master set
If I worked at Pokémon, I would make the pull rates higher too. That way it injects the fun back into it and people can't be as greedy. When we were kids, we never had any concept of the cards having a monetary value!
Pokemon is definitely testing something here, sv base had great pulls rates then paldea had slightly worse pull rates and now obsidian has insane pull rates
I'm fine with how the pull rates are now. They get more higher rarity cards out there and then don't have to reprint as much. Just get a booster case or whatever your flavor is if you like pulling more if not just get 2-3 booster boxes and then buy singles. The thing that is insane is it costs only around 430$~ if you bought all the cards single in this set and cheaper if you buy later. Buy all singles is about $430 Booster Case is about $600-$720 Insane!!!
I am so glad that even the chase cards don't cost thousands of dollars to chase. Like 200 packs still isn't cheap but it makes it worth waffling between buying the packs to get it or buying the cards raw
Unbelievable pulls there, i had always said the three pack blisters are the way to go but this set is loaded wherever you get the packs from. Perhaps you could trade a gold Zard for the EX.
I also really hope you're just lucky because I like the idea of some Pokemon cards being truely rare... I'm talking something like shiny odds to pull a card. It makes the chase for them that much better!
ETB has 9 packs booster box has 36, chances for a hit would be abt 38-45% for Sword and Shield (excluding crown zenith). But for this one it's probably nearing 53%

I’m usually very hit or miss on those blisters. Mainly get them for the promos anyway, but it’s always nice to have hits.
I think it’s generally better that it’s gonna take less cards to complete sets. Not everyone can afford to buy enough packs to do it 😊
