It's good to hear an opinion that offers alternatives for a manufacturer to consider, rather than just tearing down an established tool/combination. Keep up the good work, my friend.
Definitely agree. Love smaller minimalist multitools. I’ve actually been pretty disappointed by the last few tools leathermen has put out. The signal is great! But the whole free line I’m not a fan of. The rebar is seems cheap but I think that’s the point. Very entry level, I get it. And then the new bond is completely pointless. Like I get it’s nostalgic I guess, but definitely a step backwards compared to the wave+. Pretty much any leathermen tool moving forward that doesn’t have a bit driver is a let down for me. The wave, surge, signal and mut are definitely their best tools. Anything new should be based off of those models in my opinion. What I’d like to see, and I know it would sell very well is a dedicated multi tool that’s dedicated to tradesmen. my friend just picked up a broken plier leatherman and did this same thing with it. He even made some adjustments and took some tools from the other arm as well.
I did this with the Ozark trail multiforce from MAXLVL EDC, I love it so I have a knife locking, driver locking, saw locking, can opener, scissors, flathead/pry tool, wire stripper.bottle opener.so in it's case I carry a Gerber dime with the multiforce pocket knife the driver extension and my i3 eos flashlight hooks right on the bit driver side so it's still under the retension flap.its light and I have everything I need constantly haha 😂
Excellent idea, I hope that Leatherman is listening. I have owned both the Armbar Drive and the Armbar Drive Slim and although the slim was an upgrade, its not perfect. I ended up gifting mine away to friends. Basic tools like a locking driver, locking blade, scissors, and the combo tool would be a good set for me. Maybe a bottle opener if there is room. Thanks
Agreed. This is a great idea something I would like honesty would be scissors file and the bit driver. I would prefer no blade and carry this as a compliment to an edc folder the way I carry my multitools and Saks now. If there was a blade a serrated sheepsfoot would be preferable as a secondary knife. Great video 👍
I saw MaxLvl EDC’s video and I thought it was a brilliant idea! I’m excited you’re taking it a step further and suggesting for Leatherman to actually make them! I’m crossing my fingers hoping Leatherman is watching! I never bought the Gerbers because I imagined I was going to get frustrated with them not locking! I’m glad you made this video, I hope Leatherman responds with a minimalist multitool! :)
For me a perfect "minimalist" tool would be a Skeletool CX that also had a pair of scissors. In fact, I would prefer scissors to the extra driver bit that's stored in the frame.
@@MethodOverRide Micra is fantastic, but the victorinox manager paired with the CX has been perfect for me. I have loved the magnetic Phillips on the manager
@@MethodOverRide My solution is actually a Style CS on my keys along with my Skeletool. Marginally better form factor as a keychain. I think its discontinued now though.
I carry a leatherman free t4 every day and honestly it's the best compact multi tool I've ever used. I have no use for pliers and this has basically everything else you could want. Including halfway decent tweezers. It's a little chunky but it rides in the pocket just fine
I think that would almost be a perfect tool the way it is. I would loose the diamond file and possibly make it an extra bit carrier and have all the tools lock. Priced reasonably I think Leatherman would have a hit on their hands!
I completely agree with you. I do carry a letterman skeletool which has a minimalist feel with only the blade, bit driver, cap lifter, and carabineer but it also has a set of pliers. I can see them ditching the pliers and adding an awl or scissors to that.
This is a really good concept to carry a knife/screwdriver + a set of regular pliers instead of having a pliers multi tool cause most people also carry a folding knife anyway. If they just focused on making it a really decent knife, and just do a fixed bit holder like on the skeletool on the other end. and another hole sideways for a 90 degree position. Maybe if there's room left over, have some storage spaces inside the handle for more bits.
to be honest i think the company that starts with a screwdriver rather than a knife will be on for a winner for this style of tool. throw in some way of holding 2 or 3 double ended bits and a utility knife (stanley blade) and that will do you for 90% of day to day spur of the moment use, if you need anything more then just go get the actual tools from the van/car/shed/garage as it'll most likely save time
I would love to see Leatherman make multitools with an easy system to option tool in and out. I think an ala cart style that let you pick whatever tools you wanted would be ideal. The pliers would be the basic frame and you could add in whatever tools you wanted. You could build out your multi tool for whatever you need it for with NO useless tools.
@@thebiggestpanda1 Actually, no it wouldn’t. People still like to own multiple multitools and if you could retrofit them with the tools exactly the way you want, then each tool would be job specific. The companies that make multi tools we continue to sell multitools as before. The customers would just be happier with your purchases. I’m not sure if you know this, but people buy dozens and sometimes hundreds of knives it all cut the same. People just like knives and multitools, so they keep but buying them. Welcome to capitalism!
I love having a quality knife on me, and wanted something like this for work. Having a screwdriver on hand at all times is very handy. These multitools are pricy though, and the Milwaukee fastback gives me the bit driver, and being a utility knife means I can abuse the edge a d replace as necessary.
I'd swap out the can opener on the half-signal for a rebar saw; perfect hiking tool. I have a half-wave setup the same way, knife, saw, awl, bit driver with a ferro rod as a lanyard bead; its fantastic.
I work as a technical services librarian, a back of the house job: I'm opening boxes, doing light maintenance on office equipment, unjamming staplers, etc. I carried a Juice S2 before the pandemic but rarely had to use the pliers and would definitely be interested in a better-made, more solidly constructed Armbar-type as you propose
wow I've used my weatherman since 08/09 and it recently died. Searching for reviews on getting a new one I came upon this video. That orange Gerber looks like it has everything I normally need. Shame the driver doesn't lock but definitely going to pick one up, thanks for the video!
The Armbar is wobbly build, doesn't hold an edge, the driver has no retention whatsoever, the scissors are sub-par and the awl is out of place in such a tool. I still carry it every single day since i bought it a year ago or so and actually really like it because it has exactly what i need on a day to day basis. Give the driver a lock, improve the scissors, give it a little bit better of a bladesteel and then take my money Gerber. Or Leatherman, i don't discriminate.
100% agree! Aside from suppliers the main reason I carry a Leatherman is for the knife, scissors and driver with interchangeable bits. And a can opener. The knife even is not that important because most people carry a dedicated Blade. Size and weight is the main reason that my Leatherman isn’t always with me for every task
It has probably been said before but could you add the tools from the other handle to the spindle for the pliers all in one handle side. I'm planning to do the same to a 20yr old wave as I need to shed some weight for a uk coast to coast through hike next year - I could do with carrying a non serrated knife, scissors, watchmakers screwdriver (glasses wearer) and a saw. Any advice would be appreciated as I've only dipped my pinky into the pool of modification for the first time today and I'd rather not screw up my tool as it is a veteran of a couple of wars like me! Cheers
I know its still a kick starter but take a look at the bit bar inline from big idea design as a slim pocket screwdriver to pair with your favorite pocket knife, or since its not out yet I still use the 6 in 1 fastback utility knife 48-22-1505 from Milwaukee it has a bit driver bottle opener wire stripper and extra blade storage without being to much of a pocket dominator, i am a big and tall guy with deep pockets though
Something I have wanted for years is a minimalist multi tool with Leatherman quality/build (SAK is fantastic but I just want a better blade) that’s about the size of the SAK medium sized knives The reason being is I don’t use a dedicated pocket knife much. I use a flashlight more. And having both my pocket knife and flashlight clipped to my right Jean pocket, rubbing against each other, and minimizing space where my hand enters my pocket is something I’ve just learned to live with. That’s why I would pay good money if one was made that included all of the features the Victorinox Rambler has, but was beefed up to the degree of the Gerber Armbar
My current EDC multi-tool is a Milwaukee Fastback model# 48-22-1505 it has a locking Phillips /Flat screwdriver w/ ¼" drive, a Utility blade w/extra blade storage, a bottle cap lifter and a wire pocket clip. Really wish I could find one like it with a file and pry tool and a good pair of tweezers.
I agree on the locking driver and on the full size I would like a pocket clip. That's my only issue. The scissors could be better but if you sharpen them up some they aren't terrible
I wish you could do the same thing with the Skeletool CX. Seems like the construction would allow it but the pocket clip is on the side wrong side and the Carabiner/Bottle Opener is needed to cover the bit when installed in the bit driver. If there was a option to split the CX I would snatch it up in a heartbeat! As it stands the CX is on my short list of next knife/multi tool to purchase. Maybe the clip can be moved and I can find a cover for the bit.
I’ve been extremely happy with the Gerber armbar slim though it did take a little while to loosen up and break in specially for the bottle opener which was difficult to open at first the knife opened fine with two hands until it wore in now I can easily open with one hand. Haven’t found the lock necessary for the driver but it would still be a nice feature for future models.
I still carry my Ps01? Tiny Lm keychain piece with a small blade, scissors, file/screwdriver and tweezers . Even when I can't carry a knife knife, it's a handy wee thing.
@@txtoolcrib no just one full size 1/4 driver instead of the current one and scissors. that gives you room for the combo tool and awl on the other side. maybe lol
I think they've delved into that minimalist tool realm with the K2 and K4 tools. If you consider them as Leatherman dipping their toes in the minimalist tool water, then dependent on how successful they were, which if I'm not mistaken were pretty popular then there's a solid chance more minimalist tools we'll be on the horizon from Leatherman.
Gerber came really close to what I want with their Armbar Slim tools -- close enough that I actually bought one of them. Armbar Slim Drive has a blade and a bit driver. Armbar Slim Cut has a blade and scissors. But I want an Armbar Slim that has the bit driver and the scissors. I don't need another blade; I'm already carrying three of them. (And I don't need pliers, because I'm carrying a Knipex Cobra.)
Give me a folding screwdriver with a rock solid lockup, like the Axis lock. Bit with permanent magnet, with the shaft on the proper centerline of the tool. Knife blade folds into one side, can opener/bottle opener on the other. Tweezers slide into the end. Maybe an alternate version that swaps the can opener for a paint can opener. Maybe an alternate version that swaps the can opener for an eyeglass screwdriver. Not too many tools, so we can keep the handle as round and comfortable for driving screws as we can. Ship it with a hollow 'pen' with a threaded cap that has 5 more bits inside.
Would like to see this done with the Wave. Knife, saw, scissors, can opener and screwdrivers. Heck I've got an old almost worn out Wave, maybe I'll give this a try myself.
I'd put in a "small" serrated blade, I'd take out the can opener. I'd add scissors, a bit driver with two different double ended magnetic bits, .. two small eye glasses screwdrivers. (phillips and flathead). Id remove the file the other small tools, and add a pin punch that fits most handguns, and one reversible Allan wrench of two different sized heads, and I'd replace the current knife blade with a straight edge blade. And make everything liner locked.
I have a signal, and split it too, mainly because I added a knipex cobra to edc, so just needed an philips and a knife. This mod reduces signal 200ish grams to 70ish g.
I still want the bit exchanger, I use mine a lot, my charge scissors are only good for paper, so no on that. I would like an up graded blade even if it cost more.
Brings up an interesting topic. I'd really like to see a Leatherman multitool that includes a med to full-sized pliers with a knife, driver and pocket clip but in a slim, lightweight design (titanium?). The Skeletool comes very close but I do not like the radical design elements. I'd love to see something similar to the original PST (or new Bond).
I like that idea quite a bit. If there is one tool that I would like to see redesigned for the 21st century, it would be the SideClip. I really enjoy how compact and easy to carry that particular multi tool is.
@@txtoolcrib Yes! Exactly! I had forgotten about the Sideclip! Perfect example. All it would need is an exterior opening main blade and it'd be good to go.Actually, looking at some of Leatherman's newer offerings, the Rev does not look too bad. Not sure of the width or weight though. Even the Squirt is interesting but it'd need to be upsized just a bit. Get with it Leatherman!!
The Armbar bit driver is offset from the centerline of the rest of the knife. Which makes it very frustrating to use when trying to use it like a screwdriver. The pummel is quite efficient at putting a nail… into the underside of your fist should you miss hitting it.
Anything Leatherman makes I’m up for 😊. Definitely, I would like a blade, awe, bit driver, tweezers and a pen (maybe like the key smart) at minimum. Dump the knife sharpener as it is a waste of space. Make everything have a lock mechanism. Oh and add the foot pounding tool. Common Leatherman you can do circles around Gerber
How have you possibly missed the Leatherman Free K4? It seems to have everything you just mentioned. I own several Leatherman tools and recently bought the K4, excellent product!! It has become my EDC knife.
No, I own it. It is probably the only tool in the FREE series that I like. Namely because it doesn’t have a file combined with magnets. However, I am thinking of something that is more closely related to what Gerber is trying to do with the Armbar, only better.
Something similar to half a surge or wave but with knife and full size bit exchanger (like the centerdrive) as the 2 out side tools then inside tools keep the big and small flat head and awl on one side then the eye glass driver scissors and the bottle/can opener on the other side preferably all locking
I could agree with everything except for the micro driver. I just personally don’t get enough use out of it to warrant having it inside of a smaller tool like this.
I would like one with a plain edge blade with better steel. A single cut/ diamond file, keep the vbit driver, put the micro driver in place of the can opener, keep the awl, and something to pry and scrape with if there is room left over maybe the package opener like the wingman had and make both sides lock
You should look at the Victorinox Cybertool S. It packs a lot more into the same form factor. They could incorporate their locking blade variant (from the Wenger designs). I suspect prime markets like England forbidding locking blades plays a part in not doing that.
Yes they need to lock, Gerber is notorious for getting this wrong. Leatherman has ventured out and does sell slim down models without pliers. Personally I would add tools to the signal, Because it is intended as a survival tool & it should do more. Great video catch you later.
Great idea, but I really like the standard bit driver on the Gerber rather than Leatherman's slim bits. The knife, bit-driver, bottle/can opener combo is great for me. If the Gerber was made with Leatherman quality (and locking tools), that would be perfect.
Yeah I know what you mean. I would rather have a slip joint blade and the driver locking. As long as you don’t expect too much out of the driver it’s perfect for those little jobs I need it for like changing bulbs on my truck.
I think they should fill that slot with either the ratchet driver or use it to have a way to carry extra bits. You could probably be able to fit 4 bits (2x2) there
Hey Ben i like Leatherman t4 and k4x is pretty good i do like gerber armbar. If Leatherman make a combo knife, scissors, Phillips and flathead screwdriver, mini pry bar package opener, awl, flat and round file.
By the time reviews of the Armbar 1 came in, they already have the armbar 2 designed and in production (design and production of products are done at least 2 years prior to release). It was too late to redesign it. So the next gen (because they are selling well) will probably have a pocket clip and locking driver. I have contracts within the industry and have quite a bit of insight into why companies do what they do. Often times, what doesn’t make sense to the 10% of money they get from the “knife community” makes plenty of sense to the bulk of their buyers. Most of their profit isn’t us, though the community likes to think it is. Hence why companies sometimes ignore what the community wants
@@txtoolcrib so d2 steel for instance, or why American companies still choose to use 8cr and 420hc as base steels. It’s not because they aren’t listening to the “knife community” it’s that a solid 80% of where their profit comes from isn’t the people who buy from bladehq or knife center. Most people don’t know how to sharpen 20cv, and most people think paying 50+ on a knife is ridiculous. Hence why companies try and get under that 50$ price point. American owned companies can’t compete with China based companies prices. Civivi or WE either doesn’t pay their workers or they have everything automated. Gerber, Leatherman, buck, and so on, have to pay workers a living wage. Hence why there is a price difference. Most companies in the industry run a few cents profit of most of their stuff, hence why steel matters even if it’s a 3$ difference from 8cr to d2. The vast majority of consumers are not interested in what the community demands. They have forecasts for a reason. Assisted knives are back in style for 2021. The community hates them (as do I) and even the makers hate making them for the most part. But, it’s where the money is. Leatherman may listen and follow Gerber’s lead into what you want them too, because there is a big market for it. I could talk about it for hours. Most of the knife influences don’t have a clue as to what they are talking about. Companies that do listen, even slightly, care. Most American companies care, including Gerber. Their designers are fantastic. But, they also have to cater to the masses unfortunately
I like the arm bar tool drive. I don’t mind a combo blade A seperate serrated blade even a slightly smaller than the straight would be better. Combo bottle can opener good. Size is right for both. Must have a pocket clip.
Omg I was so close to getting the Gerbers. I did not know that they don’t lock. That’s just ridiculous! It’s basically the main function of that tool. Why would they not incorporate a lock?
I would like to see a full bit driver that uses the plier friction lock mechanism on the plier side, and turn the current bit driver into a bottle opener and scissor. Keep the sharpener, but make it flat and then give the knife a plain edge
While it can be seen in some GoFundMe originated products, at some point, one of the major EDC/Multi-tool companies is going to figure out that what customers want is a 100% customizable tool where everything from tool-material to color to one-handed versus two-handed opening, etc., etc. can be chosen by the customer: From the largest to the smallest level of detail. While modding is certainly an option, there are customers who have little time, skill sets, nor space/workshop equipment to do modding, but who have money to spend on getting the exact tool with the exact features they want. Obviously, I'm one of these and I can't wait for companies to catch on/catch-up with customer desires.

"...man made materials" 3:33 nailed it, i mean the thought. Man made materials, exactly! Brilliant, along with the rest of this video. I hope Leatherman is watching. I went to subscribe, duh, I already was. So I clicked on the bell! Cheers!
my friend just picked up a broken plier leatherman and did this same thing with it. He even made some adjustments and took some tools from the other arm as well.
I did this to a rev. Had kicking around and put all the tools from the non knife part into the spine of the part I wanted. Looks good.
I'm with you. I think the solution is a micra on the keys paired with a skeletool.
I think its discontinued now though.
good thinking man. I’d love to see them release a new CX with spring-loaded scissors in place of the pliers
I carry a leatherman free t4 every day and honestly it's the best compact multi tool I've ever used. I have no use for pliers and this has basically everything else you could want. Including halfway decent tweezers. It's a little chunky but it rides in the pocket just fine
I carry a SAK Hercules. it's got a unique long phillips screwdriver, small pliers and a locking blade. FANTASTIC tool 👍
That's a pretty decent concept.
to be honest i think the company that starts with a screwdriver rather than a knife will be on for a winner for this style of tool. throw in some way of holding 2 or 3 double ended bits and a utility knife (stanley blade) and that will do you for 90% of day to day spur of the moment use, if you need anything more then just go get the actual tools from the van/car/shed/garage as it'll most likely save time
I would love to see Leatherman make multitools with an easy system to option tool in and out. I think an ala cart style that let you pick whatever tools you wanted would be ideal. The pliers would be the basic frame and you could add in whatever tools you wanted. You could build out your multi tool for whatever you need it for with NO useless tools.
This would kill the multitool business model. Nobody would buy any of the prefabricated models when you can just order exactly what you want.
Goat tools is working on that. It's worth checking out! They have TH-cam videos.
@@thebiggestpanda1 technology progression in action. I’d love a skeletool style knife based multitool with scissors and their bit driver.
Even a custom shop they lock down would get a lot of attention.
I love having a quality knife on me, and wanted something like this for work. Having a screwdriver on hand at all times is very handy. These multitools are pricy though, and the Milwaukee fastback gives me the bit driver, and being a utility knife means I can abuse the edge a d replace as necessary.
I would buy that. Looks really good.
The T-Shank adapter from the Surge.
Maybe one day!
I love these minimalist multitools for slimming down the edc
Which is why I think Leatherman should explore the idea of designing more of them.
@@txtoolcrib I wonder if we all link your TH-cam video to leatherman it would be an option they would explore?
Maybe, you never know.
wow I've used my weatherman since 08/09 and it recently died.
Agreed.
100% agree! Aside from suppliers the main reason I carry a Leatherman is for the knife, scissors and driver with interchangeable bits. And a can opener. The knife even is not that important because most people carry a dedicated Blade. Size and weight is the main reason that my Leatherman isn’t always with me for every task
The pliers Not suppliers
Interesting idea. The one critical tool that I MUST HAVE in a multitool is decent pliers.
Something I have wanted for years is a minimalist multi tool with Leatherman quality/build (SAK is fantastic but I just want a better blade) that’s about the size of the SAK medium sized knives
The reason being is I don’t use a dedicated pocket knife much.
I'm surprised Leatherman hasn't come out with their own utility blade tool.
Great video, good insights.
I would like something like the Gerber but with a locking screwdriver and a good prytool.
Awesome idea! Send this to leatherman and hopefully they see this. 👍
I still carry my Ps01?
Tiny Lm keychain piece with a small blade, scissors, file/screwdriver and tweezers .
Even when I can't carry a knife knife, it's a handy wee thing.
Fit in a saw, switch the file for a fire steel, add extra bit holder, go to plain edge with 154. I’m sold.
love the LM coyote/black colours. Add a full size/3d bit driver and scissors. Add a second double 3d bit to the side.
Two drivers?
@@txtoolcrib no just one full size 1/4 driver instead of the current one and scissors. that gives you room for the combo tool and awl on the other side. maybe lol
Very promising ideas ! Great review! Thanks! Очень перспективные идеи ! Отличный обзор! Спасибо!
I’d add that pry tool/ package opener from the p/t series and scissors snd I think you’d have a tool that can do it all
That might work. I think a driver/pry tool would almost be essential in a multi tool in this formant.
I really like the Signal but I hate that it comes with a combo blade. Does anyone know if you can swap the blade out for another blade?
Yes, but requires more spacers because normal wave blades are thinner.
There's a modular multitool system from GOAT Tools on Kickstart, though I don't like the big circular holes in many of the unit tools.
I think if they had most of the tools in the free t4 but slim it down to this footprint, and not have the magnetic portion, that would be nice
Love my milwaukee with screwdriver, leatherman bits work with it, still want a leatherman wave one day though. Love the review!
Great idea and yes, decent scissors.
Thanks
100% agree, I love my MUT but its a bit bulky for every day carry. Would be nice to have a more EDC friendly option
Has anyone considered using the area vacated where the pliers were for key storage/organizing?
With a saw, scissors I'd buy tomorrow.
Keep em coming Ben. Love this channel.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Hey TX Toll Crib,
What about the Leatherman Free T2, T4, K2 and K4 series? I bet you heard about them? Cheers!
I certainly have, own them as well. Though I think this slimmer version would appeal to a lot of people.
All right! Kudos!
OP please look at the Emerson EDC-1 multitasker it is EAXCTLY what you want, philips and flathead both lock at 90 and 180.
They have touched on these with there newest offerings, id like to see something like this though to. Thumbs up
Thank you
How about modified some key to fit the space?
Ben have you thought about making your own line of multi-tools ?
That would be pretty cool, but the startup capital would be more than I could handle I’m afraid.
I have no idea if the pry tool from ST300M can fit there, probably not but I would like it. Great video as always.
Thank you very much.
Victorinox has tons of different knives of different sizes and tool combos. They been on top of that for decades
I agree with you, this is why I carry a swiss army knife in my pocket ,and a leatherman in my bag.
Have you ever checked out the free series k model?
Something similar to half a surge or wave but with knife and full size bit exchanger (like the centerdrive) as the 2 out side tools then inside tools keep the big and small flat head and awl on one side then the eye glass driver scissors and the bottle/can opener on the other side preferably all locking
I could agree with everything except for the micro driver. I just personally don’t get enough use out of it to warrant having it inside of a smaller tool like this.
Possibly package opener instead
I would like one with a plain edge blade with better steel. A single cut/ diamond file, keep the vbit driver, put the micro driver in place of the can opener, keep the awl, and something to pry and scrape with if there is room left over maybe the package opener like the wingman had and make both sides lock
Nice
I think it would sell. I personally love the idea.
Hello ^^ Is the 4th GERBER ARMBAR DRIVE a new product?
Absolutely brilliant.
Great idea, but I really like the standard bit driver on the Gerber rather than Leatherman's slim bits. The knife, bit-driver, bottle/can opener combo is great for me. If the Gerber was made with Leatherman quality (and locking tools), that would be perfect.
Does the bit extension fit in that open space?
Love my Gerber arm bar it stays in my truck at work as my dirty jobs tool.
That driver keeps me from carrying it.
Yeah I know what you mean. I would rather have a slip joint blade and the driver locking. As long as you don’t expect too much out of the driver it’s perfect for those little jobs I need it for like changing bulbs on my truck.
If the gerber tools shown had locking tools I would buy them in a heartbeat. U have to wonder what their designers were thinking?
That is exactly what I thought the first time I picked one up!
I wish we had a Tool with the Design of Gerber with the Quality of Victorinox :-)
1/2 of the Leatherman Signal reminds me of Victorinox Swiss Soldier’s knife…It has locking tools, pretty solid looking…..
O my god. I was thinking about something like this. Take my money leatherman.
I think they should fill that slot with either the ratchet driver or use it to have a way to carry extra bits. You could probably be able to fit 4 bits (2x2) there
That could work. A little fold up sleeve to carry two bits on board. That’s a great idea.
Would you care to elaborate?
I don’t mind a combo blade
A seperate serrated blade even a slightly smaller than the straight would be better. Combo bottle can opener good. Size is right for both. Must have a pocket clip.
Nice idea! The should explore that
I'm looking at those tools for my ski touring setup. Just need a knife and a screwdriver as light as possible.
