@@sudir_ebi I can't imagine someone being Noodler's fan, to be honest. It's a cheap pen intended to introduce people to fountain pens and that's it, it doesn't excel to anything.
Superlative presentation, Olivier - I particularly liked the historical narrative - & I would agree, Peyton St Pens as one of my all-time favourites for flex nibs - I have several of their pens & blades, & realistically speaking, they're not ridiculously priced, but they are most assiduous in their exactitudes - so, well worth the moneys. Thank you, as always :)
LOVED all the great info, EXCEPT. There are only 2 links in the description box and nothing else. I just would of liked a little more info as to where or how to find your favs and recommendations.
Charles Jacques Thanks so much! I learned cursive in school, and then learned some simple calligraphy tips from tutorials online. Flex nibs come in many shapes and sizes!
Nice rundown! I would argue the pilot Falcon is not a modern flex at all. I would feel more comfortable saying the pilot 912 FA with an ebonite feed is a good option. I had the stock feed in it for close to a year and was able to do wonders with it. Now with an ebonite feed, it veers from railroading even with some drier inks. Good chat nonetheless. I hope to meet you at a show one day SF or LA.
One of the best flex nib overviews on youtube!
