i used to work with the pilots who'd had their faces burnt off cos the fuel tank was just behind the dashboard.. they weren't allowed out in public... faithfully portrayed design fault clearly see in the model. lovely video. cheers
I'm glad I found this video. I bought this kit this morning at a hobby shop for $10. It is the original MPC release and is an open box, missing the instructions and decals. Your video should be a great help with the assembly.
Great job with the project!(i know im a little late to watch the video😅) Ive never seen a 1/24 hurricane, do you know where i can get other 1/24 aircraft? Ive looked all over but can hardly find any! Ive done the mk5b spitfire and loved the chalenge and am happy with the final rusult. Id love to make some more bigger, more detailed planes like this.
No problem with the parts fitting and the design of model was almost perfect adding details carefully to avoid problems with the cowling and other part covers
thanks for the info mate, maybe if I have a chance I will repaint it again soon so watch out, please subscribe to the channel it's a big help to me my friend. Thanks and God bless.
CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTION? IN THE LATE 1941, THE 51 HURRICANES IN SINGAPORE. THEIR CAMOUFLAGE ARE DESERT COLORS FOR NORTH AFRICA OR FOREST COLORS FOR EUROPE?
Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine sleepfriendd.Online Brünette und eine anderet Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wenn ich 4 wählen würde
1/24 and 1/32 kits should not include a pilot figure. It turns a special result into a toy. IMHO. even external figures are just too much unless it's requested. It looses any realism. sometimes the combination of too much weathering and a pilot in the cockpit is overkill.....IMHO RAF museum displays several 1/32 models and they are minus figures. They look more realistic.....this is only a preference.
First build of an Airfix 1/24 Hurricane that I seen actually where the engine cowls fit!
I remember building this kit as a boy in the 1970's. it was a Christmas present.

*I never try **1:24** scale kits but looking at your build it's a very good challenge, well done!*
thanks, mate.

If you don’t mind me asking. What type of paint brushes do you use they look awesome.
Thank you for asking mate, I'm using the Tamiya paint and a cheap airbrush.
@ thanks. What are those fine brushes you use for detail?

@@ArdeconHobby thanks man, I will!
How did you get the cowlings to fit so nicely despite having the engine fitted and detailed?
No problem with the parts fitting and the design of model was almost perfect adding details carefully to avoid problems with the cowling and other part covers
👍👍👍
Thanks, Robin.
Nicely done, but your colors should have been standard Battle of Britain not Mediterranean colors.
thanks for the info mate, maybe if I have a chance I will repaint it again soon so watch out, please subscribe to the channel it's a big help to me my friend. Thanks and God bless.
I second this. It would've been fine if there was a trop filter. you could've said that it was a Mk II (you dont really notice the nose extension)
