Any law enforcement officer has authority to intervene in a criminal activity even on federal property.
Any officer can enact an arrest for a person’s criminal activity.(Misdemeanor or felony)
A cop can certainly even arrest a federal officer if that officer is committing a crime.
To think otherwise is asinine.
The only difference between federal, state, county and local authorities is jurisdiction.
Once an arrest has been made on federal property, the criminal and evidence would be turned over to the office having jurisdiction.
This is done since it would be highly unlikely that a federal officer (FPS/DHS) would be present at the time.
