Cod is a very very easy FPS to aim. Its designed around being accessible to as many people as possible so to "balance" the game mechanically they add things like Bloom, scorestreaks, stuns and abilities. Otherwise the average noob has no fighting chance against good aimers. This is ultimately why everyone past the age of 12 will tell you to get good and play a real FPS game. Especially on PC, there is no shortage of way better shooters out there.
In my experience fps is more about decision making and game knowledge then aim and reaction time if u can predict ur opponent then ur just gonna win the gun fight

If your having trouble with 3 stars try high 2 star difficulty maps for a bit then work up from there that's what I did it took me about 1-2 weeks
try playing inferno 3 star and sasageyo 3 star it helped me get to other 3 stars and 4 stars
