Be cautious of this, these are flash drive scams where they repurpose 2.0 16gb, and 32gb flash drives and flash a different memory capacity and it writes over the older stuff once it passes the 16gb or 32gb limit. Also usb 2.0 runs max roughly 30mbps

Thanks for your comment. I know these scams by these knock offs and also the viruses they put on these thumb drives. So far no issues. The 2tb ones I already have full and been transferring back and forth. Thinking of do a time lapse of the 16tb and see if there's any problems, I mite even open it up. So far I have not had a problem with it but so many others do. And now I Will be doing some test and tear down on the 16tb. 2 Videos will be up in about a hour!!!!

You just got scammed with those drives.
@@Thomaswithtomology check them with a proper tester and you will realise those are only 32 gigs max and it rewrites all the data. Or just search scam USB drives on youtube. You just got scammed and don't even realise it.

@@WhistlerDavid Even with my follow up video. they still are 32 gig. so not a scam just a let down that these companies have to lie. no mater what I have 1 32 gid at slow speed. But guess I don't care at this point since Ali gave me a refund on them. Was able to show other people that really don't know these are scams, (you know Like ME) and now they will!!
1:59 even those drives on Amazon on horrible. They go for about $30 for a 1TB but when you load data it barely does 100GB. It does about 50GB then the data is corrupted. I realized how horrible it was when I found a code in the box for a free 1TB drive.
Yeah, first time ordering drives like this, and my second order off Aliexspress ever. Got 2 videos in about a hr that will be the break down of these
@@Thomaswithtomology I like the concept of usb and plugging into a cell phone. I loaded some digital movies my daughter likes on one so she can watch them on her iPad or iPhone without taking up storage on her device and not needing any internet. Just wish they worked like they said they do.
@bidwell13 I agree, I do the same thing. I only do photos and record videos in 4k and it takes up a lot of data. Just trying to find good devices that don't break our banks. Got more coming in. I see good and bad on cheap gadgets/tech.. I will find good ones for us all to use. Lol..

For USB C-C cables I got a dozen of them from the "Bundle deal" some even that are 3M long [yes they are USB2.0] but if you need 100W cables just for charging you can't beat 2$/cable.
this is what I personally do, only buy 100W+ rated cables, so I don't have to look for a cable that can charge a laptop, when most are not rated for 100W
I also look for transfer speed in a cable. So far these hit that make without breaking the bank. And usb-c, all devices are going to usb-c. So to have to upgrade all your cable and have a good length can get costly. Trying to find good cheap gear and do the testing so everyone knows if there good or not. It was just everything That I ordered from ALI, My first order, So I figured I would do a video on it.
you really should check those again try getting a large file in it 2-3 gigs min and try to see if it plays back and not corrupted if it's fine then try to fill it until 8 or 16 gig why you may ask ? most of the time it is a scam they are pretty smart about it they do something with the chip so it always show as a huge drive when it is not and what they do is that it reports that your file has been transferred succesfully but after they get full it just starts erasing data of the oldest file so it may start to be corrupted or not even be playable so all in all make sure they are truly what they are before you post a vid on them they are getting smarter and smarter so watch out what u buy

Create a folder with 30gb worth of stuff in it, just make multiple copies of fortnite file... and then try copying that to any of those drives!

I think you can all but guarantee that they are not actually the capacity they say they are! Proper scam!
