great video! I purchased this camera after watching your review, just have a quick question, after I record something and transfer it to my pc the video itself plays back pixelated and garbled, do you have any why its doin that?
Marlon Munoz Hi Marlon, Two possible things to check. One is if you chose one of the 4K settings, you have the potential for problems with slow data transfer in the camera (likely) or processing power in the PC or graphics card. I usually don't have much luck with high res and I don't have a 4K monitor. How do they play on your phone? Many newer phones are 4K capable. If you have this with normal HD make sure you have a class 10 or ultra high speed SD card - about 60 megabits.
i have a question: i might press somerthing un-intentional that the pictures of my Campark 4K action camera is upside down. what should i do to return it to normal ? TY
Luis Nolasco. I don't have my camera with me so I can't check but take a look at your settings. There's a choice to reverse or invert images that can be helpful when you have to mount the camera upside down. It is there, I just can't remember in what submenu. Sorry.
We bought 3 of the same ones & bought a SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO A2 V30 XC1 Class 3 Micro SD card, tried recording in 1080p @ 60fps & it keeps stopping the recording at around 1:35, the sound keeps going but the video freezes, it will record in 720p @ 30fps & 1080p @ 30fps no problem, now this is on a motorcycle, any idea what would cause this. These SD cards are rated @ 170mbs read speed & 90mbs write speed
Charles, this camera is a couple of years old and one of the limits on these older action cams is SD card size. You said you are using a high speed 128GB card. The speed part is good but the camera can only read 32 GB cards. Its buried in the discription on the sales page. Try a smaller card.
@@AZJim12 we did start with a 32GB SanDisk card to begin with but had the same issue of the video stopping at 1:35 & the sound continuing for the duration of the video time the 128GB cards are doing fine in all resolutions as long as we are recording @ 30fps, the only issues we are encountering is when we are trying to film @ 60fps either in 720p of 1080p u can check my videos on my TH-cam page
i bought one the battery wont last more then 30 minute, the sound is absolutely crap you cant even understand what people are saying the video quality is good, the camera get overheated very quickly the minute you turned on it start recording also doesn't record more then 15 minute video that's a real review

Nathanael García Muro Sound quality is marginal. Most of these little cameras don't have external mic jacks. I'd recommend recording to your smart phone or digital recorder with a lav mic or mini shotgun. Marry in post using the camera's audio as the base.
The camera outputs a video file you edit as you desire and upload to TH-cam, so yes. Since reviewing this camera, there are probably some other Campark cameras and other brands that do a better job than this model.
720 isn't Full-HD its just HD. This company has the worst tech support I have ever seen and the mic on their ACT line is horrible. The video is nice for a 12mp sensor but without audio what good is a camera. I couldn't get support to answer the question if an ext mic could be used on the usb port.
IAWFilmWorks . Yep. Points were discussed in the comments below. Audio is probably about 70% of the perceived value of a video. You're not going to get good audio from such a cheap camera. I use a separate recorder or my smart phone with an external mic. Sync in post.
BusinessClassOnly Glad you liked the one you found. I've had a couple and they seemed pretty similar until you get up to the $100+ price range. Thanks for sharing.

What app do you use?
I use the XDV app described in the instructions. It's available on Google play for android. XDV 360 is for the 360 camera not the 4k action cam.

Shawn House No external mic. GoPro does but more expensive. Best bet for good audio is to use an external mic and recorder.

the overall quality of the camra is quite poor. The Daping version costs a little more but is much better quality
