Luke and lucky are just total assholes during this time.
The Cassadine dinner was priceless! Stefan with Lulu was great. Luke was such a child. He always treated Nikolas like crap and while consistent with his character, was a huge flaw I could never get past. Laura should have told him to kiss her you know what from the start and had a relationship with Nikolas.

Because Alexis, unlike Nikolas, was an illegitimate outsider and never viewed as a true Cassadine by a majority of the family. Nikolas stuck in Luke's craw because he was Laura's firstborn son by a man who was his mortal enemy and raised by another enemy Laura was far more willingly intimate with.
@@DarlingNikki2 - Except Alexis wasn't an "outsider" to the man Luke was fighting against. Both Alexis and Stefan were treated as "outsiders" by Helena and Stavros. So from childhood, Alexis and Stefan had a sibling bond even though at the time they didn't know they were siblings. Every step of the way, Alexis was willing to help and protect Stefan.
@@DarlingNikki2 - I don't disagree with you on that which is why it wasn't the point that I addressed. My point was that Luke is being pathologically irrational in his hatred of Nikolas - who had no say in who his father was - when he can overlook the fact that Alexis has the same amount of Cassadine blood as Nikolas and grew up on the same island with the same people.
@@GaelinW Agreed, Luke always had the capacity to compartmentalize situations and people as it suited him. He acted like some big tough guy ready to face the world head-on, but in reality, he was still the scared and scarred child his father routinely brutalized with beatings.
Interesting Laura/Felicia scene. Looks like GH was already setting up for Fluke back then given a year later Laura and Felicia would have another scene in that exact spot about Luke's whereabouts again cept that time it wasn't quite as friendly but of course.
Luke has become an amoral scumbag. He has almost nothing in common with the heroic original Luke. He almost killed Katherine and he doesn't care. He's become some kind of paranoid sociopath.
There he goes into the sunset. At least Stefan has the guts to stick things out. Luke egomaniac jerk again listening to Laura's horror story without a shred of sympathy is disgusting. But Luke has always been a mess.
I don't understand what anyone would see in this Luke. As if seeing how badly he treated Nikolas, who was essentially a kid, wasn't bad enough, he's so self absorbed that he can't see beyond his own damaged ego, that he abandons his own children.
Stefan is actually charming with Lulu and Laura at dinner. The writers may have been setting up a strong Lulu and Stefan bond, had SNL been taken further. And a very jealous or alienated Luke and Lulu.
See that what can't seem to understand? Why did the writers change course Luke said to Laura back in 1981. He said he would need her by his side that he never knew what love was until he meet her. That he thought her be alone never having anyone in his life. Read the true story line it all makes so much scene were all this was going. Like and Laura still would be together fighting the bad guys. U guys helped make me stop watching altogether. Thanks anyway. Love Rosie
I don’t like how Stefan pines over Laura. She was kidnapped and made to be Stavros’s wife and she had an affair with Stefan because he seemed nicer than Stavros and stuck on that island. Not good choices but she was held captive and they keep throwing her son in her face and making her choose between her chosen family to the one she had when she was held captive. So stupid.
It wasn’t her fault she was held captive. Luke has double standards. He was with Holly and had a child with Holly! Laura Did not act like Luke when she found out that Luke and Holly had a child together..
Genie Francis was not as physically attractive as that character needed. Can somebody tell Lucky, cute as he may be, he is not Jimmy Dean or THE Marlin Brando's God Father's twang but lucky is more like one of the Frog Brothers, Corey Haims, but thats as near a he'll get to James Dean's eclectics & or that borrowed God Father twang!
Of all the unbelievable story lines GH has had, from the weather machine in the 80's to children characters either never knew they had or ones they gave up for adoption suddenly appearing 30 years later to people returning from the dead, none have been harder for me to swallow than this Emily as a model. Natalia Livingston's Emily, absolutely. But Amber Tamblyn??? I'm sorry but she is too unattractive for words. Yes, here her looks are better than they were from her first year on the show but that is due to make up and hair highlights. But she is still quite homely. My guess is she only got into acting because her father is in the business. I think she is a terrible actress and very hard to look at.
Okay, great someone else saying what they really feel about a persons looks. Good for you, now I want to say this and have been wanting to say it but not wanting to piss someone off.....I think Stephen Nichols is NOT good looking at all.

Nice surprise to see Luke ended up with "The Ice Princess!"
How fitting that Luke gets the Ice Princess back after 18 years. LOL
Poor Lulu had one of the weirdest and least happy childhood I can think of for a television character. Just lonely.
The Cassadine dinner scene. Best scene ever.

Stefan would have loved Laura forever. He would have treated her like princess. She ended up falling apart with Luke. Then, he married Tracy. Sad.
I never understood why they dressed Laura older than what she was.
I noticed that too. Making her look older not good in my opinion.
I was thinking why so douty
I think Laura was dressed older because Luke was about 15 years or more older than her. In 1998 he was pushing 50.
