    I shouldn't have watched this. Now I'm excited for spring and summer fishing when I still have 3 months till I can fish open water.

    Look forward to your open water and ice shows every time. In my opinion fishing is about learning and sharing your experiences. I don't see any problems wrong with your show. It does exactly what a tv show should do. You introduce a species, explain how to catch it, and provide evidence of how someone can do it as well. Would love to fish with you if given the chance. Keep up the great work. I always learn something new from each show. You and your producers are doing a excellent job!

    What an extraordinary piece of high quality work you put together here! This is just absolutely amazing and so informative! The way everything came together at the end was just absolutely marvelously done! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this! Can't wait for the next adventure! Jake from Maryland

      Can only watch so many bluegill, crappie and walleye come through the ice...pretty boring content. All of the other big TH-cam channels are the same right now, panfish after panfish...blahhh no thanks

      @@ryanwilson5936 Honestly, that’s what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to Word, saved it on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 18 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I am showing them), when I pick it up, put it in the old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, “kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like… not like the stories your generation tells.”

    What reels are you guys using? “Might have missed it”. I’m wanting a little bit of a beefier reel for bigger baits like bigger than a bass baitcaster. But I’m not too sure if I want to go up to a 400 size reel

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okuma Komodo 364. Great low profile and lightweight reel that can handle big fish and big baits.

  • @walleyehunter8862
    @walleyehunter8862 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    You's cut off the barbs and also remove the front 3 prong hooks ? I know it would be messy , The pike get the whole lure in the mouth and jump twist and turn ..

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Anglers are limited to a single hook and all points must be barbless. It honestly isn't much of a hassle and few fish are lost because of the mods.

      The average size on Nipigon is pretty special. The average Pike in most lakes are not that big.

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV

    Locals absolutely hate it when fishing shows featuring Lake Nipigon. A resort, camp or guide may like tourists. But the locals DO NOT want our favourite spots being over run with yankees.
