  • In this tutorial I will show you how to highlight the meta in the Divi Blog module by moving the author, date, and/or category over the image.

    In our last tutorial, I showed you how to remove the Divi Blog module meta separators. That tutorial is the perfect prerequisite to this one, and complements it perfectly. In this tutorial I will be showing you how to move the Divi blog module meta author, publish date, and/or category up over the top of the featured image. This creates a beautiful highlight! This is a very requested feature, and there are no other tutorials like this, so I am excited to show you this.
    Be sure to check out all our other tutorials, especially our entire Divi Blog module series. You’ll find everything you need and didn’t know you needed there, and if you have any suggestions for new blog related tutorials let me know!

    Awesome video! I know I improved on my CSS when you asked how do we target just the category and I was thinking of nth-child :D

      Nice! Yes there are so many things you can do similar to that too!

    Hi Nelson, first off: Thank you for all of your teachings. Very valuable!
    I wonder how to move the categories up if there are more than 1 linked to a blogpost. It will move up the first, but not the second. Any tips?

      Hmm that's weird, if you post the details on the blog my assistant will check this for you.

      @@PeeAyeCreative thank you, just found out the tweak for more than 1 category. Have them both on top of the image now 🥳

    Awesome tutorial. Plz make one tutorial on how to add line below the link in the content.

      Hi Pranav, do you mean a line under the meta links?

    • @trendinggadgets1054
      @trendinggadgets1054 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PeeAyeCreative No, I mean line under internal links in the blog post content.

    Hey Nelson, I've been following your tutorial(s), and first of all I'd like to thank you for all the knowledge you're dropping, you truly are amazing.
    Second, I've come across an issue with this particular part of the tutorial. For some reason, everything works fine for me up until I try to move these elements. I've done everything you said, followed instructions to the tee, however these lines of CSS code just don't do anything for me (they don't work / have any effect what-so-ever). I've added the CSS class and everything as instructed, but for some reason they just don't seem to change anything.
    Any thoughts on what could be causing the issue?
    EDIT: I figured it out! In your video you're using ".pa-blog-meta-highlight" in the beginning of your code snippet, while on your blog you have ".pa-blog-separators", so I changed that part and now it works.

      Hi Nik, it is my pleasure, glad you like the content! Sorry for that confusion with the classes! I have fixed that now.
