Yes this comment translates my thoughts into words. I was also about to comment something similar that this house has lots and lots of artworks and the entire house looks overtly occupied. Personally I like minimalist designs.
When ever I see such house filled with arts and crafts work, I cannot connect myself to the ambience. I cannot simply comprehend that it's a house to live rather the whole house is a show piece.
At least I would bump into something beautiful. I'm not an Indian but I always admire Indian art and live in a house full of ancient art like this has been my dream
A very good house in terms of area and design. Yes it looks cluttered but that was client's choice and the art collection is great. loved the space management and overall design.
Its beautiful, very much to my taste (although i personally feel there are way too many collectibles and keeping them clean from dust will be such a major task). And thankfully this architect has designed this place to have a lift. Thats a big necessity nowadays and i see many architects not include it.
For sure, the client - the architect made a good design, but then, when started living in the home, realised 🤦🤦 what kinda impractical mess have I created....!!! God save the small kids from the stairs and the cleaners of the house 🥸🫡🤷
Yup. It's a huge task to take care of so many artifacts, dusting them clean ever so often. I have a minimalist home and within a few days of dusting and cleaning, things get dirty again. When constructing and decorating it feels good but impractical imo. But then again, they might have a maid to clean all this regularly and maintain it or they might love doing it themselves.
Yeah...truly a maximalist house! It is nice and wonderful to view on Buildofy -but i wonder how the clients manage to maintain the house and dust off those art pieces.I like to name the house as Cavery Emporium house.
There are so many things...i think dusting all these is a pain..also it doesn't really make the space beautiful... somethings look scary... classic example for too many/expensive things dont necessarily make beautiful 😊..just my thoughts ..looks cluttered. Those railings could have been on right side of the stairs..its almost covering that beautiful mural work behind.

Indian architects should travel to Europe to see how every house has a basement/cellar. Architects should go two floors below the ground level. The bottom most floor should be a huge reservoir for rain water harvesting and the floor below the ground level should be used for car parking 50% and storage room 50%. This will give a lot of space for garden on the ground floor.
As per what he said in the start of the video it is in a gated community.. so they will have rain water harvesting somewhere else in the society and more over bbmp and bda does not give permissions to build anything underground when it comes to societies .. one of my friends thought of having cellar for parking because it was a small plot but did not get permissions ..
@6:46 shows illegal construction over rain water drainage. Such a shame home owners and the architects. If it gets clogged, the rain water will flow on the road causing puddles and accidents. India doesn’t have the concept of pedestrian access.
Won't be that high. The site itself if bought new to construct this would be around 1-1.3 cr. Construction and interiors in my estimate wouldn't and shouldn't exceed 2 cr maximum. We built an independent house recently and it cost us around 85 lakhs including interiors. Of course we didn't hire an architect so their percentage will be saved. My house is in a 50x50 site and a duplex and total 3 rooms. If they already had the site, then 2 cr max imo. No way should it be more than that.
Though client has magnificent collection, but the architect hasn't done good job. Too busy where he could have given more breathing space to the elements
That's not a house,it's a art gallary....and I loved it
Yes this comment translates my thoughts into words. I was also about to comment something similar that this house has lots and lots of artworks and the entire house looks overtly occupied. Personally I like minimalist designs.
Though it is beautiful. It is like a museum with high maintenance.
This house has so much character that reflects the owner's interest/passion/devotion for me this house is like a lifetime achievement, loved it.
Master piece ! Fantastic amalgamation of tradition , functionality and elegance ! Maximalism at its best ! Very well done up house .
When ever I see such house filled with arts and crafts work, I cannot connect myself to the ambience. I cannot simply comprehend that it's a house to live rather the whole house is a show piece.
Omg, finally released. I was really awaiting for this particular house. Exotic master piece 🎉. No words to appreciate
where is this house location in Bengaluru???
Get a feel of going through a museum or an art gallery. Very nice design and concept. Has come out really well. Congratulations
Well planned museum for a art loving family which wants to hold and rekindle our traditions with modernity.
Relatives are coming to home for their weekend trips and njoy the art gallery.. 👌🏻👌🏻Nice taste of the owner and creativity of buildofy
Absolutely beautiful! This is the kind of house I want to live in!
Really ?? U don’t wanna bump into something and get hurt real bad
At least I would bump into something beautiful. I'm not an Indian but I always admire Indian art and live in a house full of ancient art like this has been my dream
Beautiful house. Love this style.
My dream house. Such a great construction.
U really need a good editor , who can sync the idea shown on paper to how it's done in real time
Beautiful house. But cleaning on Diwali would be fun.
The worth is off the antique what they have in there house.
Such a amazing collection from all over India.
Best one.

Great art collection.
Excellent architecture ❤

Be😊autiful collections
Beautiful sweet home. 🎉
I wonder how they maintain those. These things need dusting everyday. But worth investing time on ❤ beautifully peaceful ❤
beautiful collection....
Dangerous place to live without hurting yourself..Too many elements in the house being exhibited..like Nita ambani wearing all her jewelry on her!

Beautiful house. Please share from where did you source the curtains @buidofy !

Right
Exactly looks like antique shop. Hardly place to walk. Just imagine the cleaning process
Please make me understand that in subject of the video it is mentioned that 1200 sqft and in Video it is mentioned 3500 sqft build up area. I confused
Total plot area is 30*40 which is 1200 sq ft .. and the built up area including all floors in 3500 sq ft

Maintaining this house must be a herculean task…
While the house looks great, good luck inviting families with kids over.
Name of the house and the voice in the beginning suggest that this is Shri Dushyant Sridhar's house. Am I right?
exactly. i was thinking the same...
Butiful
Is it really 1200 sqft
I am worried about the floating staircase .
People can break thier bones if they fall accidently.
Please fix it for your kids and inlaws.
I am worried about maintenance 😢
@6:46 shows illegal construction over rain water drainage. Such a shame home owners and the architects. If it gets clogged, the rain water will flow on the road causing puddles and accidents. India doesn’t have the concept of pedestrian access.
Cost of the project?
I'm the first viewer
Best
This house is only for old Indian art passionates... Not fr all. Too much maintenance n dosent give a cozy home feel.
it's a museum, not a house
Imagine having to dust this house😢
I had the same question
Maximilist 👍🏻
overdone for me
Cost - atleast 4 Crore

This is not architecture work but art gallery godown😂😂.
Too much everything😂
Lovely house. Not my taste though !!
Hinduism❤
Though client has magnificent collection, but the architect hasn't done good job. Too busy where he could have given more breathing space to the elements
The architect was likely unaware of the client's extensive collection, which was worthy of being displayed in a museum.
Dyshyanth sridhars house.
exactly. i was thinking the same...
