    I have no words to compliment!!! It was clean and clear explanation, referencing docs at perfect time and writing diagrams was cool

    Yeah, the pace of this video was perfect, the stacking of concepts was perfect -- I've been digging around these resources and needed something to cohesively tie them together and this did a beautiful job. Thanks!

    Why is there a storage class name at 6:04 but no storage class with the command "kubectl get sc" at 6:18 ?!

  • @klausthorn1209
    @klausthorn1209 ปีที่แล้ว

    You said it is either pv or storage class. But at 6:04 you show PVs that have a storage class. So does a storage class mean that PVs are dynamically created and bound to PVCs? Or are PVCs bound to storage class directly, as indicated by 2:28 ?

    Why does your PVC have a storage class name if you're linking it to a PV?

    • @Mayanksharma-hw3hn
      @Mayanksharma-hw3hn 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      same question i have

    • @suhasc9418
      @suhasc9418 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you dont have a storage class(like in this case), it defaults to PV(as he mentioned). So using Storage Class in this meant, using PV.
      Please correct me if I am wrong.

      @@suhasc9418 from 6:23 on the video supports your reasoning.

    This is all wonderful, if it worked. My storage setup is not persisting my jenkins container jobs in my k8s cluster on vmware (private cloud).

    • @charleso5940
      @charleso5940 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe ur jenkins policy for builds is the problem
