When I listened to this song for the first time when it released the other day, I cried. I first started listening to TDCC in 2016 when I was 13. Now, I’m 19, starting to cusp 20. Every single feeling, thought, or situation that I’ve needed an escape from or the words for… they’ve made a song about. Always. I had a rough and unstable home life growing up and was eventually in foster care… obviously I’m an adult now, but TDCC music is what got me through. And with this release, it feels like they’re turning the page to the next chapter with me ❤️ So flipping excited to see you November 6th in Detroit!!!!! Despite all my listening, this is the first show I’ll get to come see and support!! Edit: Just wanted to note that the November 6th show in Detroit has since been cancelled due to Kevin’s surgery. Of course a little saddening, but so much better that he takes care of himself and hopefully he’ll have a speedy and smooth recovery ❤️🩹
Music has the power to help people through hard times, so glad you've made it through yours. I didn't discover TDCC till I was 45, im 54 now and they just get better.Enjoy the concert.
